About: Ive owned so many variety's of pets from cats and dogs to gerbils, hamsters, mice, and turtles from 8-18 years old. I love animals and will always put their well-being first in any situation. I am currently a student at Fox working towards my Veterinary Technicians License. I speak Spanish and English! I am currently a full time student-but am available between the hours of 5pm-9pm after school hours and available between 6am-8pm on weekends. I know precisely how to read and animals body language and know when something is wrong. An animal can let me know when they feel uncomfortable and I can let the owner know right away. I have handled many shelter animals and pets and can know when something is not right or if they feel uncomfortable.

About: Since being a little girl I have had many pets. I’ve taken care of parrots, bunnies, dogs, and cats which have given me so many wonderful memories! Taking care of pets and showing them love is what we enjoyed the most! I work from home the majors of the time so I have plenty of time to play and care for your pet. My dad and my teenagers also love playing and caring for our little friends and gives them loves of love! I have a big house and a huge yard for you pups to play around and a small shi tzu to keep your pup company.

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats and have experience caring for both. I have my own pet dog who is a 10 year old mixed breed. I have administered medications and am comfortable caring for pets with special needs. I am a college student and am free for the summer. Have plenty of time to spend with your pets. About: I have over 13 years experience doing vet assistant and vet technician tasks and skills as a volunteer at The Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge, IL. I have been employed as part of the membership and philanthropic department at Lincoln Park Zoo from which I learned a great deal, stemming from my biology classes on taxonomy to zoology, to specific animal facts and conservation of threatened animals. I therefore know a great deal of educational background on animal behavior. I studied psychology and comparitive human psychology/animal behavior with a bachelors in science from IIT. I have grown up with dogs, cats, and ferrets. At Southwest Animal Care Center, I bathed, fed, walked, medicated, and cared for boarding and patient animals. I graduated with my veterinary assistant certificate in 2018. After graduating from IIT, I became a kennel attendant and learned a great deal about how to care for animals. Pet care is a daily task for me as I take care for two little fuzzbutt ferrets, Icarus and Agatha. Icarus often wakes me up with his bushy tailed excitement. I'm lucky to have such wonderful critters in my life. Right now, I am only offering dog walking and off-site at client's home services. From what I've read from the anthropologist book "Inside of a Dog" by Alexandra Horowitz, animals, especially dogs, crave human attention so being attentive to an animal's needs is to me, what's most important. This includes communicating with animals to know when they need a bathroom break, when they want play, when they want affection and cuddles, when they want nappy time, being fed according to what their schedule is, and of course, offering healthy treats (if allowed) and new novel smells, toys, etc. I can manage 4-5 walks per day with one or multiple dogs at a time 5-6 days a week. This is my main job and I'm dedicated to providing top care as if they are my own. I take extra care to be a courteous and contentious guest in the owner's home. I treat my stay with respect and humbly care. You can trust me to provide excellent care and keep everything tidy and clean.

About: Hi, I’m Samantha! I’ve had all types of pets my whole life and enjoy taking care of animals big or small. I’m a Veterinary Assistant with knowledge on animal temperaments and proper care. I've worked with animals with diverse medical conditions, including my own pets. About: Hi! My name is James and I used to have a dog named Banks who I first adopted back in 2015. I took care of him for many years until we had to sadly put down. My girlfriend and I love to take care of dogs as she currently works at an animal hospital and she always tells me about her experiences there. I’ve taken care of animals ever since I was 10 and I am currently involved at 4 Paws for Ability where I volunteer with service dogs. I am a current college student so my schedule is very flexible during the summer and I can accommodate you and your pups needs! I’ve been handling dogs for years and currently walk and sit multiple dogs around my neighborhood. I love all furry friends and would love to be able to take care of yours! About: I have had and been around dogs since I was a child. Dogs seem to come to me naturally; without fear or hesitation. I honestly believe this is because I approach them with ease and am not forceful. It seemed like a natural step for me to join the Rover community. Ive also been a dog owner and currently have Jazzy who is my beloved Boston Terrier Mix with a big personality and sweet nature. Jazzy and I chose each other and its been an adventure ever since day one! she loves everyone but at times can be a little bossy. I'm well aware of who runs the household! I pride myself on ensuring that Jazzy stays healthy by giving her quality food and treats, Along with that she enjoys her fenced in yard and takes daily walks. We have lots of playtime and cuddles. I'll treat your dog as I would my own. That is my motto as I don't want you to worry or be concerned when you are away from your precious fur baby. I can't replace you, or would never try but rest assured your pet will receive all my tender loving care. I have had the opportunity to care for some dogs on Rover who have become regular clients. The owners have told me that they reach out to me first and hope that I am available. That is a huge compliment and I'm honored that I made such an impact on their four legged friend. All the pets I have met have their own unique personality and what I do as a sitter is simply take them for who they are which includes any little quirks. Canine or human, we all possess them. About: I had a senior dog for over 15 years that I took care of! Also fully trained her and loved her. Additionally, I have worked at a barn with horses, cats, and dogs that I have taken care of. :) I am a college student but I am free all days besides Tuesdays and Wednesdays! I can make those days work after 5 pm. Weekends I can do any hours as well for any service. I have a fenced yard and no other pets at my house at the time. I have water bowls and feeders. I also will walk your dog for as long or little as needed because I love walks and runs myself!
