“Kelera is absolutely wonderful. She was very attentive, detail-oriented, and timely in taking care of my fur babies while I was away. My babies warmed up to her instantly and we certainly won't hesitate to call upon her services again in the future. Kelera is the best!! 👍”

“I give Iman 5 stars times 20. This is my first time using Rover and I selected Iman for home drop in visits for the week I was on work related travel. To say I was nervous is an understatement. However, from the time I met Iman I knew she was the right choice. I perceived her to be a gentle, compassionate and honest person. This was important to me considering the temperament of my fur babies. One is a rescue due to abuse and none have ever been border and I wanted them to stay in the comfort of their own home. Yes I got that vibe from just meeting her. Very positive ora and energy. Iman exceeded my expectation. My 4 fur babies took to her right away and she cared for them as I would. You can tell this is not just work for Iman it’s what she loves. She absolutely has a love for and way with animals.t antisocial cats were even drawn to her. She made sure the house was locked and secured each time and that the alarm was set. I will definitely continue to utilize her services for my fur babies. I can’t express my gratitude enough for having such an amazing and outstanding sitter. Also, they loved her dog food. ❤️”

About: I have had my dog now for almost 10 years. I used to care for my dog as well as a roommates dog at one point. I can give medications and can provide First Aid/Heimlich if needed. Strong enough to hold back and tame my 60 pound Boxer mix. I’ve also helped care/walk my sisters Great Dane and my friends smaller dogs for 7 years or so. I love animals and if you have other little friends who need care, just let me know what to do and I’ll do it. I work night shift as an ICU Nurse so I’m home all day. I can pop in and check on your babies any time during the day. I would need to know in advance only cause I do eventually sleep during the day. I’m aware you are trusting me with one of the most important members of your family, I’ll be happy to leave a photo and an update of any changes , good or bad, so you can enjoy some peace of mind that everything is alright.
“Marissa was great! She arrived on time to meet my little pups before I went out of town, and also arrived on time the day I scheduled for her to come let them out. She played with them, took them for a walk, fed them, and changed out a potty pad.”

About: I have over 13 years experience doing vet assistant and vet technician tasks and skills as a volunteer at The Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge, IL. I have been employed as part of the membership and philanthropic department at Lincoln Park Zoo from which I learned a great deal, stemming from my biology classes on taxonomy to zoology, to specific animal facts and conservation of threatened animals. I therefore know a great deal of educational background on animal behavior. I studied psychology and comparitive human psychology/animal behavior with a bachelors in science from IIT. I have grown up with dogs, cats, and ferrets. At Southwest Animal Care Center, I bathed, fed, walked, medicated, and cared for boarding and patient animals. I graduated with my veterinary assistant certificate in 2018. After graduating from IIT, I became a kennel attendant and learned a great deal about how to care for animals. Pet care is a daily task for me as I take care for two little fuzzbutt ferrets, Icarus and Agatha. Icarus often wakes me up with his bushy tailed excitement. I'm lucky to have such wonderful critters in my life. Right now, I am only offering dog walking and off-site at client's home services. From what I've read from the anthropologist book "Inside of a Dog" by Alexandra Horowitz, animals, especially dogs, crave human attention so being attentive to an animal's needs is to me, what's most important. This includes communicating with animals to know when they need a bathroom break, when they want play, when they want affection and cuddles, when they want nappy time, being fed according to what their schedule is, and of course, offering healthy treats (if allowed) and new novel smells, toys, etc. I can manage 4-5 walks per day with one or multiple dogs at a time 5-6 days a week. This is my main job and I'm dedicated to providing top care as if they are my own. I take extra care to be a courteous and contentious guest in the owner's home. I treat my stay with respect and humbly care. You can trust me to provide excellent care and keep everything tidy and clean.
About: I grew up with a dog and had my own for over six years. My dog, Tessa, had multiple health issues her whole life and was often sick. I am comfortable dealing with sick and senior dogs. My family uses me as their go to pet sitter. I have experience with dogs up to 95 lbs. I was often complimented on my dogs behavior and can help you further your dogs training. I work in the afternoon until late evening. I am usually available for walks weekday mornings until mid afternoon. I will have occasional evenings free. I will also be available most weekends. I try to stick to the pets routine as much as possible. I do not feed dogs from the table and will enforce any rules that you set. I will make sure that any messes will be cleaned up.
“Emily did an awesome job doing drop-in visits with Sierra. She is great with communication, came for a meet n greet first and followed instructions for the visits. Sierra absolutely loved having her come over to play fetch in the yard, she got belly rubs, fed her treats and made sure she had fresh water before she left. I would absolutely have Emily again…she did a great job all around!”

“Lisa was an amazing sitter! She followed my instructions to a T. She respected my home and went above and beyond to send me updates and photos. I would definitely book her again and recommend you to book her too! You won't be disappointed!”

“It was initially unsettling for me to find and hire a dog sitter for my very shy dog. Mark answered my prayers and was definitely up for the challenge!! He was calm, trustworthy and reliable. He had patience and compassion with Bella. What a great relief for me that I had absolutely no worries hiring this great pet sitter. Bella was well taken care of. I loved the uploaded picture he sent of Bella in the backyard. I will surely continue to book my pet sitting needs with Mark. I highly recommend him as he is awesome at what he does!!”

“I will never go to another sitter, ever! She takes care of my cat who is an absolute terror to people, and Ethel is bery kind to her. She goes above and beyond every time I have her!”

“I was able to find Jennifer quickly on the Rover app. I chose her by her profile and her close proximity to where I live. She responded very quickly to our request thru the app. She came for a short visit so we and our doberman could meet her. I wanted her also to feel comfortable with our large dog. We needed someone to come a couple of days around midday to fed, potty, walk and play our very active 8 month old 60 lb dog. We had her come for an hour each day. It was also the first time we were leaving her all day. Jennifer did exactly what was asked and says she looks forward to helping us out again. I know we will use her in the future.”

About: I absolutely love all animals, especially dogs and cats! I have experience dog-sitting and dog-walking in the past, and I would love to expand and sit more frequently!! I am currently a college student, meaning the summers I have a lot of free time on my hands! I do not have a summer job this year, meaning I have a lot of time to pet-sit! I do not offer pet-sitting in my own home, as I am a student living with my family. I am very clean, and will always keep client's homes tidy and left the way I came! When caring for pets, I always follow client's feeding/walking schedules, and play with them!
About: Hi! My name is Alysia, and I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years through family, friends, and neighbors. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and care. During visits and walks, I focus on keeping your pet safe, comfortable, and following their normal routine. Whether that means a long walk, playtime, feeding, administering simple medications, or just providing companionship, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I currently work at a childcare center, where responsibility, patience, and attention to detail are essential every day. Those same qualities carry over into the care I provide for pets. I understand how important updates are when you’re away, so I always send photos and messages so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family member! Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:50 PM to 5:30 PM, which allows me to provide morning walks, drop-in visits, feedings, and playtime before work. I am also available on Tuesdays and Thursdays for additional daytime care and can accommodate evening visits after work. I understand the importance of consistency for pets and always make sure they receive the attention, exercise, and care they need while their owners are away. I do not usually have dogs stay at my house because I have family members who are allergic but I am very respectful of your space. I make sure that they are fed at the exact times needed especially if they have a certain schedule and make sure that they get their exercise daily.
“Megan was wonderful dealing with my 3 cats with VERY different personalities. She wven thought to move a food dish under a table where the shy old cat was hiding. It is such a relief to know that there is acaring person to take care of my cats when I travel.”

Mara is simply the best—highly recommended! My husband and I have never trusted anyone outside of family to care for our two senior dogs. One requires medication, and the other is extremely anxious, so finding the right person felt overwhelming. Mara immediately put us at ease. She took the time to meet with me and my dogs before her scheduled visits and was incredibly patient while I learned how to use the app. Not only is she kind and attentive with my pets, but she is also very capable and handled their somewhat complicated care with confidence. She communicated clearly, letting me know when something came up without causing unnecessary worry, and managed every situation thoughtfully—even things I hadn’t anticipated. Mara is responsive, flexible, and truly easy to work with. When I needed to add a service last minute, she responded right away and accommodated my request without hesitation. I can’t say enough good things—she is trustworthy, compassionate, and incredibly reliable. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dogs.

Our babies loved Chantal and we loved leaving them in her care! One of our dogs attacked a bird and she handled the situation on her own so well and communicated very nicely what was going on. She is quick to respond and accommodate to their needs. We also got a good report back from our babies that they wanted her to come back and see them!
