About: Hello. My name is Vanessa and I am a huge dog lover. I don’t see dogs as pets but more like family members. I’ve had 10+ years experience dogsiting for some friends dogs ranging from teacup Yorkies to Pitbulls. I have also been a dog owner to Rottweilers, American Eskimos and Shih-tzus. She responded very quickly to our request thru the app. She came for a short visit so we and our doberman could meet her. I wanted her also to feel comfortable with our large dog. We needed someone to come a couple of days around midday to fed, potty, walk and play our very active 8 month old 60 lb dog. We had her come for an hour each day. About: I have plenty of experience with both dogs and cats. I have been working in a dog/cat boarding and daycare facility for a little over a year now. At work, we are responsible for providing individual care for each animal staying with us; we are in charge of providing them with playtime, feeding them, giving meds, and more. Personally, I have had two cats going on about 15 years now, and I have had two dogs (a lab mix and a pit mix) for about five years. I also have the experience of being a dog walker volunteer at a humane society! Right now, I am on summer break and home from school, and I am currently only working a part-time job. On days I do work at my part-time job, I’m usually working from 8-230pm 3-4 days a week, so I will usually be available outside of that time period on my working days. On non-working days, I typically have open availability. Since I am around animals pretty much 24/7, caring for them is part of my usual routine, making me very passionate and comfortable around animals. Unfortunately, one of my dogs is reactive and doesn't take well to new doggy friends, so care at my house would not be possible. However, in terms of staying in the owner's home, I would bring over some toys and other things dogs love, like treats, and I could even bring a splash pad for those who like water! I would make sure the dog is my number one priority and be on top of what their daily needs are. For cats, plenty of catnip and fun will be involved!

However, from the time I met Iman I knew she was the right choice. I perceived her to be a gentle, compassionate and honest person. This was important to me considering the temperament of my fur babies. One is a rescue due to abuse and none have ever been border and I wanted them to stay in the comfort of their own home.
