About: Ive owned so many variety's of pets from cats and dogs to gerbils, hamsters, mice, and turtles from 8-18 years old. I love animals and will always put their well-being first in any situation. I am currently a student at Fox working towards my Veterinary Technicians License. I speak Spanish and English! I am currently a full time student-but am available between the hours of 5pm-9pm after school hours and available between 6am-8pm on weekends. I know precisely how to read and animals body language and know when something is wrong. An animal can let me know when they feel uncomfortable and I can let the owner know right away. I have handled many shelter animals and pets and can know when something is not right or if they feel uncomfortable.

About: I've owned pets my whole life. I currently own two pets: a Coton de Tulear named Kitty and a sweet German Shepherd named Medusa. I volunteer at animal shelters, and work as a veterinarian assistant. I have experience with cats and dogs ranging from newborns to seniors. While I have my own pets, rest assured your baby will have my undivided attention while in my care. I interact with pet on a daily basis. I work as a vet assistant, and have my own pets. I have lots of free time throughout the week that I occassionally dedicate to my neighborhood animal shelters. My most open days are Wed - Fri. Pets will never be left unsupervised in my care. Only pets from one household will be walked at a time. When doing drop in visits I pay close attention to the instructions given by the pet owner, and will ensure the pet is comfortable before departing. I will provide pets access to water at all times, and pay close attention for any signs of discomfort. I always keep a first aid kit handy. I do not offer treats or foods that are approved of by the owner first. If I notice anything concerning I will notify the pet owner. I'll also provide cute update photos for the owners reassurance.

This is why I promise to treat your baby with the exact same love and patience that I treat my own. I offer a variety of personalized services to keep your pet happy, healthy, and safe, such as dog walking, house sitting, and frequent photo updates so you never miss your furry friend too much! I'm currently in school and working online, with this, your pet will rarely be left alone and will receive lots of attention throughout the day. I can take dogs out every 1 to 2 hours for quick backyard play or bathroom breaks. Additionally, I am available for early morning walks, midday check-ins, overnight stays, and weekend care. flexible with caring for your doggie. I have a fenced in yard and my own doggie named Pinky. About: Worked with everything from tiny puppies to seniors at the kennel and proudly volunteer at Chicago PAWS. I am also pursuing my career in pre-vet, looking forward to gaining more experience along the way. I am currently working part time but will be starting school in the fall so Im available Wednesdays-Sundays after 12pm Wednesday and Fridays: Evening shifts only (2pm-8pm) Saturdays: Morning shifts only (8am-12pm) Sundays: Both morning and evening shifts. (8am-8pm) Strongly prioritize a stress free space by following specific care routines and keeping the environment super clean. My experience at the kennel and at PAWS means that I am aware of safety procedures and keeping an eye out for health changes.

“I was able to find Jennifer quickly on the Rover app. I chose her by her profile and her close proximity to where I live. She responded very quickly to our request thru the app. She came for a short visit so we and our doberman could meet her. I wanted her also to feel comfortable with our large dog. We needed someone to come a couple of days around midday to fed, potty, walk and play our very active 8 month old 60 lb dog. We had her come for an hour each day. It was also the first time we were leaving her all day. Jennifer did exactly what was asked and says she looks forward to helping us out again. I know we will use her in the future.”

About: I enjoy being with pups and getting them outside! I have a 13 year old chihuahua mix who is anxious and dog-reactive so no stranger to dogs with specific needs. I work from home full-time with a flexible schedule. I am available to check in on your dog or take them for a walk during the day, most days. My own dog has specific needs (senior, anxious, dog-reactive) so I will be sure to follow any directions to the tee. I want to make sure you feel good about leaving your pup in my care.

About: Hi! My name is James and I used to have a dog named Banks who I first adopted back in 2015. I took care of him for many years until we had to sadly put down. My girlfriend and I love to take care of dogs as she currently works at an animal hospital and she always tells me about her experiences there. I’ve taken care of animals ever since I was 10 and I am currently involved at 4 Paws for Ability where I volunteer with service dogs. I am a current college student so my schedule is very flexible during the summer and I can accommodate you and your pups needs! I’ve been handling dogs for years and currently walk and sit multiple dogs around my neighborhood. I love all furry friends and would love to be able to take care of yours! I’m currently working part time, but I have a very flexible schedule. I am free all day on weekends and would love to spend my time with your pups! About: I have been watching dogs for a while. Watched 4 dogs at once. If you need me to stay overnight i will for the dogs When i had my dog we took care of her. Walks grooming. Let her be by my side when bedtimes comes around. Miss watching pets Prefer their house. So the pet feels more at home instead of not knowing the surrounding. If there is ever a storm im with the dog overnight .

About: I have had and been around dogs since I was a child. Dogs seem to come to me naturally; without fear or hesitation. I honestly believe this is because I approach them with ease and am not forceful. It seemed like a natural step for me to join the Rover community. Ive also been a dog owner and currently have Jazzy who is my beloved Boston Terrier Mix with a big personality and sweet nature. Jazzy and I chose each other and its been an adventure ever since day one! she loves everyone but at times can be a little bossy. I'm well aware of who runs the household! I pride myself on ensuring that Jazzy stays healthy by giving her quality food and treats, Along with that she enjoys her fenced in yard and takes daily walks. We have lots of playtime and cuddles. I'll treat your dog as I would my own. That is my motto as I don't want you to worry or be concerned when you are away from your precious fur baby. I can't replace you, or would never try but rest assured your pet will receive all my tender loving care. I have had the opportunity to care for some dogs on Rover who have become regular clients. The owners have told me that they reach out to me first and hope that I am available. That is a huge compliment and I'm honored that I made such an impact on their four legged friend. All the pets I have met have their own unique personality and what I do as a sitter is simply take them for who they are which includes any little quirks. Canine or human, we all possess them. About: Ill treat every dog like its my own... I have had rescues and i want all dogs to feel safe loved and cared for when their families are away. I have grown up with dogs. I work in healthcare and can handle anything. I have experience given medications and working with dogs who scare easily. I enjoy being around animals and one day hope to do it full time. I am excited to start a fun job working with animals and caring for them. I have more availability on nights and weekends or very early mornings.
