About: I’ve always had a natural connection with animals, especially dogs, and finally welcomed my own pup, Leia, into my life five years ago. Since then, I’ve handled all of her training, walks, feeding schedule, etc., myself. I learned a lot from years of watching "It’s Me or the Dog," and put what I've learned into practice with my dog, Leia. What sets me apart is my mix of genuine love for dogs, hands‑on training experience, and a calm, reliable presence. I’m excited to meet your pup and give them a walk they’ll remember; one that’s safe, stimulating, and tailored to their personality. I am a college student at DePaul University, majoring in Finance and Criminology. I commute on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I am free to walk your furry friend any day that isn't Tuesday or Thursday :) I have one energetic five-year-old Wheaton terrier whom I have trained by myself. I walk her at least once a day, feed her, play with her, and train her when time allows. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow your established rules and routines to ensure your dog feels comfortable and stress‑free. I pay close attention to safety — from securely leashing during walks to double‑checking doors, gates, and feeding instructions. My goal is to treat your pet and your home with the same care and respect I give my own.

About: Hello. My name is Vanessa and I am a huge dog lover. I don’t see dogs as pets but more like family members. I’ve had 10+ years experience dogsiting for some friends dogs ranging from teacup Yorkies to Pitbulls. I have also been a dog owner to Rottweilers, American Eskimos and Shih-tzus. I don’t mind giving references if you need them to verify my work. I am a very sweet energetic and responsible person who promises to care for your dogs as best as I can and give them all my love as if they were my own. I take my responsibilities very serious and promise to follow any guidelines given to me and to keep your dogs safe. I am also willing to care for any other pets you have in the home. About: I have had and been around dogs since I was a child. Dogs seem to come to me naturally; without fear or hesitation. I honestly believe this is because I approach them with ease and am not forceful. It seemed like a natural step for me to join the Rover community. Ive also been a dog owner and currently have Jazzy who is my beloved Boston Terrier Mix with a big personality and sweet nature. Jazzy and I chose each other and its been an adventure ever since day one! she loves everyone but at times can be a little bossy. I'm well aware of who runs the household! I pride myself on ensuring that Jazzy stays healthy by giving her quality food and treats, Along with that she enjoys her fenced in yard and takes daily walks. We have lots of playtime and cuddles. I'll treat your dog as I would my own. That is my motto as I don't want you to worry or be concerned when you are away from your precious fur baby. I can't replace you, or would never try but rest assured your pet will receive all my tender loving care. I have had the opportunity to care for some dogs on Rover who have become regular clients. The owners have told me that they reach out to me first and hope that I am available. That is a huge compliment and I'm honored that I made such an impact on their four legged friend. All the pets I have met have their own unique personality and what I do as a sitter is simply take them for who they are which includes any little quirks. Canine or human, we all possess them. About: I have about eight years of experience caring for friends' and clients' pets when they are moving or on vacation. I have a very open schedule and my lines for communication are very open. I live in a condo in Oak Lawn and own my own car meaning I have reliable transportation to any of the surrounding areas, if required for your needs. Pets seem to make themselves right at home even if they haven't been there before. I love long walks and don't mind laying around the house or jumping up and going out every hour depending on the pet's needs or desires. I am friendly and pets seem to warm up to me quickly. I have a knack for anticipating a pet's needs and go to whatever lengths I need to keep them safe and happy. I'm lucky enough to be able to mold my schedule around your pet's schedule. So whatever walking and feeding routine you have them on I can easily adjust to fit their needs. I follow every detail the pet parent leaves me to the letter. Even if your pet needs me to spin around 3 times and pretend to microwave his/her food or ACTUALLY has food that needs to be microwaved! I make sure to review instructions with the client the day of so we both feel comfortable that we are on the same page and their fur baby is getting the best care.

About: I’ve worked with young kids and dogs for years. I babysit and petsit in people’s homes and I have trained my seven year old dog. I also have experience with cats and giving them space while letting them warm up to me. On weekdays I work full-time until 4pm and then I’m all free to play with your pets or feed them. Weekends I’m free all day to properly care for your pets. I have a fenced grass front yard and a 7 year old mini schnauzer if your pet is okay with socializing, but not necessary for house sitting or walking.

I trained her to sit , and potty trained her, she’s now 11yrs old My neighbors and friends relied on me to take care of their pets by feeding them, cleaning their poop, changing their pads and giving them attention. I can work extra hours when I’m not working in my first job . I can babysit your dog in your house , do overnight in weekends. I could take them for a walk to the park or around the neighborhood. We could play games. We could just sit in front or in the backyard and relax .

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 9 years old. I have walked them, bathed them, cuddles , massages, gave medications you name it. I absolutely love the feeling and genuine love that dogs give so I protect and love them at all cost! A stay home wife with no children home currently, so I’m free a lot! Needing a new hobby I enjoy to consume my days now. I have small babies so the house is already baby proofed! Also can purchase whatever is needed to make them feel comfortable! Not big on dogs being in crates and cages but if that’s what your prefer that can be arranged as well! Long as the dog is comfortable I am happy!

About: Being an animal lover, I have taken care of all of my own pets and those of friends and family. From guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, fish, cats, and dogs. I have seen the absolute best with pets and will do anything that a pet parent wants for their pet. While I look for a full-time/part-time job, I am available any day of the week, Monday-Friday, 7 am- 6 pm, and Weekends, any time of the day. I am able to come over you house, to be able to care for your pet when it is required. I am unable to at my house since I am in the process of moving. I am comfortable being in your house to ensure your pet is in a familiar area.
