About: I enjoy being with pups and getting them outside! I have a 13 year old chihuahua mix who is anxious and dog-reactive so no stranger to dogs with specific needs. I work from home full-time with a flexible schedule. I am available to check in on your dog or take them for a walk during the day, most days. My own dog has specific needs (senior, anxious, dog-reactive) so I will be sure to follow any directions to the tee. I want to make sure you feel good about leaving your pup in my care.

About: I have taken care of my dog Daisy, who is 12 years old and needs help everyday. I have also watched family members dogs for weeks at a time so I am experienced with that. I am currently working part time so I’m quite available. I’m looking to pick up some work to prepare me for the upcoming school year! I have a fenced in yard with lots of room to play. I prefer to do dog walking because I have a dog of my own at home.

About: I’ve had pets all my life. I adore all sizes, dogs or cats! I’d love to play/walk with them. And of course take care of any other needs they might need I mostly work night shifts. I’m free mornings and afternoons. I’m also willing to stay with your fur babies during the day while you’re at work. I’m happy to take your dogs on walks or to parks to let out their energy. I have experience walking dogs of every size and I also have experience training dogs. I work part time so I have ability to walk and take care of dogs in the morning and evenings as well as the weekend! My backyard is very large with a fence surrounding it. About: Hi there! I'm Maya. I'm a newbie to the pet-sitting scene however I've been around dogs my whole life. I also am a pet mom of 5 years to two dogs, named Millie and Matcha. I've raised and trained them up from 12 weeks old, and loved every minute of it! I've also fostered a few pups in the last two years and helped find them new homes as well! I am excited to start my journey sharing the love and care that I've garnered over the years with your baby and will do my best to treat them as my own. I'm a freelance creative currently going to school online to pursue a degree in Marketing, so my schedule is pretty open and can be adjusted based on your needs! I have experience with bathing, feeding, walking and paying with dogs and am happy to do all of the above when in your home for drop-in visits. I'm able to take care of any additional instructions you have such as medication distribution as well!

About: I have over 13 years experience doing vet assistant and vet technician tasks and skills as a volunteer at The Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge, IL. I have been employed as part of the membership and philanthropic department at Lincoln Park Zoo from which I learned a great deal, stemming from my biology classes on taxonomy to zoology, to specific animal facts and conservation of threatened animals. I therefore know a great deal of educational background on animal behavior. I studied psychology and comparitive human psychology/animal behavior with a bachelors in science from IIT. I have grown up with dogs, cats, and ferrets. At Southwest Animal Care Center, I bathed, fed, walked, medicated, and cared for boarding and patient animals. I graduated with my veterinary assistant certificate in 2018. After graduating from IIT, I became a kennel attendant and learned a great deal about how to care for animals. Pet care is a daily task for me as I take care for two little fuzzbutt ferrets, Icarus and Agatha. Icarus often wakes me up with his bushy tailed excitement. I'm lucky to have such wonderful critters in my life. Right now, I am only offering dog walking and off-site at client's home services. From what I've read from the anthropologist book "Inside of a Dog" by Alexandra Horowitz, animals, especially dogs, crave human attention so being attentive to an animal's needs is to me, what's most important. This includes communicating with animals to know when they need a bathroom break, when they want play, when they want affection and cuddles, when they want nappy time, being fed according to what their schedule is, and of course, offering healthy treats (if allowed) and new novel smells, toys, etc. I can manage 4-5 walks per day with one or multiple dogs at a time 5-6 days a week. This is my main job and I'm dedicated to providing top care as if they are my own. I take extra care to be a courteous and contentious guest in the owner's home. I treat my stay with respect and humbly care. You can trust me to provide excellent care and keep everything tidy and clean.
