“Liliana and her family gave me such peace of mind to leave my Whiskey in their care. The initial visit with the family in their beautiful home was so warm and friendly. And while I was away, I was so grateful for the updates and pics throughout each day. Whiskey got attached to one of Liliana’s teenage daughters. So sweet!”

“A true life saver! We attempted to keep our dog at a pet friendly hotel while we went to a concert, but Noodle decided she was going to let the hotel guests know how much she missed us by barking. We thought for sure we'd have to listen to the concert from the parking lot or just not go all together. Kathy responded very quickly, super nice and accommodating . Thank you again!”

“I'm so grateful for Iman! My senior dog got sick the day before my trip; she was flexible with the drop-off time so that I could get him to the vet before bringing him over. I'm always anxious about leaving my dog if he's not feeling well, but Iman is so attentive and communicative I had total peace of mind while I was out of town. When I picked up my dog he was in a great mood and his appetite was coming back. Thanks so much Iman!!”

“It was the first time using this site. I have never left Izzy with anyone before, but I was going away for a long weekend. I was so nervous to leave her and she cried when I dropped her off, but I knew she’d get over it because there were other dogs there and she loves to play. Desiree was awesome. Send pictures every day and videos which made me feel ease on my vacation. I would definitely recommend her. She has a wonderful set up and is wonderful with the dogs that she cares for. I will be calling her again when I go away.”

“Janet was the best! I was nervous to leave my dog behind, but she eased my fears. She sent me pictures every day and her dogs welcomed my dog into their pack right away. He was sad to come home! “We were very pleased with the service from Stefanie. She kept us updated and consistently sent pictures of our dogs. We will definitely consider using her services in the future.”

“Manuel is the best sitter I could have found for my dog. He took such good care of my corgi Kit, and kept me updated the whole time. He looked after his sensitive paws and made sure Kit was entertained. I really appreciate the social time with other dogs that Kit got during his stay. Manuel is very responsive, attentive, kind, and reliable. Thank you so much for looking after my pup for the holidays. Will definitely book with Manuel again the next time I’m out of town.”

“I have now had two great experiences with Stefanie! She checked in on my cat daily and went above and beyond to make sure she was well cared for. I always received updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Kimber can be a little shy with new people, but she warmed up quickly—which says a lot! I came home to a happy, relaxed kitty. I would definitely recommend Stefanie to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

“Suzanne took such great care of our pets! She was really communicative and let us know she was concerned about one of our cats not eating (due to missing us.) It was the first time we left our pets in the hands of someone through Rover and Suzanne exceeded our expectations! We are so thankful to her.”

“Alyssa was absolutely a God send. She was incredible with our two kitties that we never left before. She was very thorough and detail oriented. Also she sent regular pictures and videos and messages. Anytime I reached out to her she was very quick to respond. She was the only person that our kitties actually went up to the first time they met her. They are always reserved and shy and actually run and hide from any visitors...even my parents that have been here several times took them several visits to get used to. Animals can sense a good hearted, caring person when they meet one. We will absolutely be using Alyssa on a regular basis. I know it can't be easy to trust someone you don't know staying at your house for several days but as soon as I met Alyssa, I was instantly comfortable and trusting of her. One word to describe her: PERFECT. :-)”
“katy was so great with our two dogs. she had great communication and notes with photos so we knew what they were up to during the check-ins. she's very sweet and i can tell she really cares for the animals she cares for!”

She makes my time away from home so easy because her service gives me such peace of mind. She has easily become my best sitter experience! Please book her! You will be so glad you did! ❤️”

About: I have over 13 years experience doing vet assistant and vet technician tasks and skills as a volunteer at The Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge, IL. I have been employed as part of the membership and philanthropic department at Lincoln Park Zoo from which I learned a great deal, stemming from my biology classes on taxonomy to zoology, to specific animal facts and conservation of threatened animals. I therefore know a great deal of educational background on animal behavior. I studied psychology and comparitive human psychology/animal behavior with a bachelors in science from IIT. I have grown up with dogs, cats, and ferrets. At Southwest Animal Care Center, I bathed, fed, walked, medicated, and cared for boarding and patient animals. I graduated with my veterinary assistant certificate in 2018. After graduating from IIT, I became a kennel attendant and learned a great deal about how to care for animals. Pet care is a daily task for me as I take care for two little fuzzbutt ferrets, Icarus and Agatha. Icarus often wakes me up with his bushy tailed excitement. I'm lucky to have such wonderful critters in my life. Right now, I am only offering dog walking and off-site at client's home services. From what I've read from the anthropologist book "Inside of a Dog" by Alexandra Horowitz, animals, especially dogs, crave human attention so being attentive to an animal's needs is to me, what's most important. This includes communicating with animals to know when they need a bathroom break, when they want play, when they want affection and cuddles, when they want nappy time, being fed according to what their schedule is, and of course, offering healthy treats (if allowed) and new novel smells, toys, etc. I can manage 4-5 walks per day with one or multiple dogs at a time 5-6 days a week. This is my main job and I'm dedicated to providing top care as if they are my own. I take extra care to be a courteous and contentious guest in the owner's home. I treat my stay with respect and humbly care. You can trust me to provide excellent care and keep everything tidy and clean.

“Desiree is so great! I felt super relaxed on my trip knowing she was checking on my cats. My cats really seemed to feel comfortable with her too, even my really nervous cat! Absolutely recommend, and will rebook in the future :)”

“SO amazing!!!! Gionna is so friendly and such a pleasure to work with. Not only did she take care of everything we needed for our kitty while we were gone but she went above and beyond to accommodate our kitty’s initial shyness and with Gionna’s patience and knowledge of cats, she was able to get her to come out and play/cuddle too!!! Gionna is so great and really helped us to be able to relax and trust our beloved pet was well taken care of while we were gone. Thank you so SO much again for being so awesome Gionna!!!!!!”

Very familiar with meds and schedules and special needs, natural food etc. Not ready for another and didn't know much about this service. I wish l'd have known, so let me help YOU! (Note- i cannot take dogs over 60lbs, check box options are limited. Thanks for understanding) I work from home so can be available for full days, or as needed. Weekends I may have some things to do but will prioritize where needed. I do not have a crate, but you can provide. Otherwise I have bowls and beds and cones of shame as well as soft flower cone where needed. I also have gates and a pen, and multiple doors. I treat my animals (mine or family friends) like a kid. Safety always, lots of love, and a fun time!

About: As a lifelong animal lover with years of experience in pet care, I understand that every pet has their own unique needs. I pride myself on having a strong sense of animal behavior and adjusting care accordingly to each individual pet’s temperament. I have a great deal of experience with senior pets and/or pets with a strict medication regimen. I understand that these animals often need additional patience and compassion and I am always striving to reliably provide such care. This includes administering edible, topical, and injectable medications. I have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes as well as cats and small animals (birds, fish, reptiles, etc) so you can rest assured that your beloved critters are in good hands! I do my best to be communicative so I am always willing to discuss any additional details or concerns with my clients. My main goal in pet care is to provide reliable and respectful service that keeps your furry friend happy and gives you peace of mind in knowing they are properly cared for while you are away. I hope that I get to meet you and your pets very soon! Pet care is currently my main focus so my weekly schedule is almost always open. I am extremely flexible with scheduling which means I will be available to do reoccurring visits or extended pet sitting if need be. I have my own transportation so I am happy to make visits that are a bit out of my area as well. I have worked in professional pet care for 7+ years which has including both daily dog walking and overnight house-sitting. Being respectful of my client’s pets and their homes is of utmost importance to me. I always appreciate strong communication and always do my best to provide prompt updates while you are away
“I recently adopted a rescue who is having a hard time adjusting to new people. Kathryn did a great job with him! Despite him growling at her she was patient with him and helped him calm down so she could walk him. She was reliable and understanding. I then asked her if she could come again last minute and without hesitation she agreed! I would definitely work with Kathryn again!”

“These ladies are very caring and attentive. They provide daily feedback to let me know how Tazer is doing and take pictures and video when they are on their walks. I'm very happy and know Tazer is well cared for when I'm at work.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 12 (small and large). They bring me immense joy and happiness. I have extensive experience with giant breeds. I raised my Bull Mastiff, Barnaby, from a pup and rescued an English Mastiff named Shakespeare (200 lbs of pure love). I am diligent and reliable. I know what to look for as far as health and emergencies. Barnaby was plagued with severe allergies so I know all the tips and tricks to make them feel better. I am cautious, careful, and compassionate. Your fur baby will receive lots of love and attention. I left corporate healthcare after 15 years to pursue experiences that allow me to help a fellow neighbor and care for animals that bring me so much joy. I have the time your precious pet needs. Depending on your specific needs, we can ensure your pet is given the same type of care as when he/she is with you. If it’s walking for a specific amount of time, type of play you want encouraged, treats, cuddles, resting time, etc - we can definitely work out a care plan that you approve of. Everyone cares for their pets differently and I want your experience to be unique and personal to your family. I do live in a condo, so if your fur baby needs overnight care, with your permission, I would bring them to my dad’s house (where I would be staying) in Oak Lawn (1.5 miles from me). His house is bigger than my condo and has a 6ft privacy fence in the backyard that would be perfect for exercise and playtime. He is also an avid dog lover - no dogs currently in the home. Our beloved Shakespeare recently crossed over the rainbow bridge and we’d love the opportunity to care for your pet. There would be no lack of attention and love. If you would like to chat with him or see the home your fur baby would be sleeping at, that can be arranged. If you need in home services, I’d love to chat about your pets routine.
About: I’ve always had a natural connection with animals, especially dogs, and finally welcomed my own pup, Leia, into my life five years ago. Since then, I’ve handled all of her training, walks, feeding schedule, etc., myself. I learned a lot from years of watching "It’s Me or the Dog," and put what I've learned into practice with my dog, Leia. What sets me apart is my mix of genuine love for dogs, hands‑on training experience, and a calm, reliable presence. I’m excited to meet your pup and give them a walk they’ll remember; one that’s safe, stimulating, and tailored to their personality. I am a college student at DePaul University, majoring in Finance and Criminology. I commute on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I am free to walk your furry friend any day that isn't Tuesday or Thursday :) I have one energetic five-year-old Wheaton terrier whom I have trained by myself. I walk her at least once a day, feed her, play with her, and train her when time allows. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow your established rules and routines to ensure your dog feels comfortable and stress‑free. I pay close attention to safety — from securely leashing during walks to double‑checking doors, gates, and feeding instructions. My goal is to treat your pet and your home with the same care and respect I give my own.

“It was Daisy’s first time boarding and Susseth did an amazing job! I was left for one week on vacation and had previously only left Daisy with family so I was a bit nervous about how Daisy would do. Susseth is very detail oriented and provided fun photos and video updates daily throughout that ensured me Daisy was doing well. Daisy is also a picky eater and she was so accommodating with me bringing all of Daisy’s snacks. She was also flexible with pick up and drop off times knowing travel can get a bit tricky. Thank you so much for taking care of her! I’ll definitely be bringing Daisy back for daycare and boarding.”

“We were very pleased with the care our fur baby received while staying with Michelle and her family. She reassured me that our pup would be in good hand and sent us photos to ease our nerves about leaving her. She and her husband were wonderful!”

“Bridget was amazing with our dog, Miller. Miller has separation anxiety and can be a hit or miss with sitters, but he warmed up to Bridget and her family right away. Great communication and felt extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend to let your dog stay with her family and pup of her own who is both adorable and friendly.”

“Zuri was well cared for during her stay at Donelle’s. Lots of cuddles and she was quite pampered. Donelle only hosts one dog at a time, which worked out perfect for me and Zuri. Zuri got undivided attention. Thanks Donelle!”

“Ethel has cared for our Luna multiple times over the last year and we cannot say enough about how awesome Ethel is. Luna comes home happily exhausted after her fun stays with Ethel and Ethel’s dog Tutsi. Ethel provides plenty of photo and text updates while on their walks and visits to the dog park. She’s responsive to messages, and she’s flexible and accommodating for dropoff and pickup. Ethel is so incredibly kind, and we always know Luna is in good hands with her. We’re so grateful to have found Ethel and you will be, too.”
“Shani responded quickly to take a last minute long term booking. She was very communicative & hands on with Malcolm. Felt very comfortable leaving my baby while out of the country.”

“Many thanks to Phyllis and her husband for taking great care of our two dogs. They are great — very responsive, professional and loving! We look forward to seeing them at the end of the month when we are at a wedding!”

“Serena watched our 6 month old puppy at her house for a week, and he had a great time! She communicated with us every day, and we felt very at ease and able to enjoy our trip without worrying. She also has a very sweet dog who kept him company during his stay.”
