Availability
I currently work as a software engineer from home and my daily schedule is pretty flexible. In the event I have any work meetings, I will let you know well in advance if it's ok to walk your dog/check-in before or after the meeting. Starting in October I should be starting my retirement so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pet.

Safety, trust & environment
Just like with my family's dogs over the years, consistency in schedule is the key. When I take care of your pet, I want to make sure that I stick to their normal schedule as closely as possible. Meet and greets beforehand are always a great opportunity for your dog to get a friendly smell, and for me to chat with you on how I can best care for your fur child. Please be sure to provide any detailed instructions on their routine (where they are walked, if they need to be fed, any special medications or conditions, etc) and please don't be offended if I ask you a lot of questions - I want you and your dog to have the best experience possible!
Information William R. would like to know about your pet
Information to know about your pet: 1) Normal Routine 2) Separation anxiety / Behavioral Challenges 3) What games do they like to play 4) Treat Policy (Important!) 5) Routes for walks 6) Anything else that is important to you
A typical day
I try to do at least one long walk a day (aside from any requisite potty breaks), but aside from that I try to make sure the dog has ample play time.

Certified Dog Grandpa
Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Bill! I'm a long-term pet owner (my family has raised two small dogs in the past) and I'm also a dog grandpa, as each of my children own dogs that I love very much. I trained our family dogs from a very young age (<1 year old puppies) until they were senior dogs (they both lived until 17+ years). I've seen the entire lifecycle of caring for young puppies, to adult dogs. I often care for my children's dogs for both short and long periods of time, and I pride myself on being the best dog grandpa I can be!
