“Mercedes was wonderful. There was a timely drop-off and pickup, she provided regular updates with pictures, and not to mention she made me cookies! I’ll be using her again and my dog loved her and her family!”

“Ann took such good care of our puppy! She sent daily updates, took her on walks, and I know her family all gave our pup attention. She was willing to give her eye drops when we found out an infection we thought would be cleared by the weekend wasn't, and was so generous in providing a crate and toys so we didn't need to cart our stuff back and forth. We'd love to use her again.”

“It was our first time boarding Koda, so we were a little nervous about how he would handle it. Megan made the entire experience incredibly comforting and seamless. She kept us updated throughout the day, responded quickly, and truly put our minds at ease. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would recommend her to anyone.”

“Just love her!! She is taking such great care of my furry baby and can't praise her enough!! I have piece of mind knowing that my Nikko is being taken care of! My daily update pics just make my day.”

“Kyla is and was so amazing with my fur baby. For one, I was terrified because Eden has IVDD ( nerve condition that caused him to lose the functionality in his back legs) and I was like who is going to watch or even change a diaper on a dog. I have never seen anyone to attentive to my baby as if he were her baby. I’m so grateful to have found her and I will be a repeat client. Thank you again Kyla!!”

“My dog Buddy had the best of time with Janet. I would highly recommend Janet. Buddy was almost sad returning home. I received pictures during the stay which I really loved. Thank you Janet for making my dog feel at home and loved!”

“Great Care! Manuel was professional and caring. He communicated throughout the day, sending updates and pictures. He went above and beyond caring for Levi. She was extremely happy and tired when I picked he up. I would highly recommend Manuel to take care of your Furbaby!”

“This is our first time using Rover and Kendra made us comfortable and was very accommodating! She even got toys for our boys. She communicated well and sent lots of pictures. Fetty can be very anxious and they can be reactive to dogs, she was patient and worked well with them. We will definitely be using her in the future ❤️”

“Guillermina is a wonderful sitter! She watched my dog for a week and made sure to send me pictures and updates daily. She was very attentive of my dog’s needs and well-being. Highly recommend!”

“Susseth was great. She was very responsive, contacting me right away. We set up a meet and greet. Our dogs got along fine so we booked a week long stay. She took great care of Bella, sending daily pictures. Bella was excited to come home and slept for a whole day. So I’m guessing Susseth’s dogs and Bella had some fun playtimes together. Thanks for a worry free week.?”

“I love the attentiveness to all the fur babies and keeping them on a schedule - Katie and Teddy were playing with the others fur babies which is wonderful. These guys are my go-to boarders from this day forward 😊”

“I want to acknowledge how professional and well organized Iman handles her business. I am a first time pet owner and Rover user. I had to leave town for 6 days for a vacation. I had anxiety around who was going to care for my pet. I did a google search and stumbled across this platform. Iman picture was highlighted for me. My spirit felt like she would be the one to choose. I’m proud to say that I was not wrong in following that inner voice. Iman took care of my pet better than me. I enjoyed the warm welcome with a personalized sign. I was able to walk in the house to see Ace also had friends to play with and a doggy play area. My Ace normally barks at strangers but he seemed comfortable with Iman right away. He received high quality luxury style care. The activities, videos and pictures updates were comforting and entertaining to watch. I don’t want to give all her secrets away I love that she celebrated his birthday with a paint party. I also love how happy he looked the entire time. I was impressed with the level of experience Iman has. I also appreciate that she makes dog food and my pet seem to like her food more. I will be ordering food for him. I will also use Iman for all my future pet needs. I think I have hit a goldmine with her services. I have no need to seek out anyone else. I am throughly satisfied with the love and care provided to my Ace. My trip was extended a day due to unforeseen circumstances at the airport and Iman did not hesitate to provide extended care. I recommend her services to anyone who needs it. I promise you will not be disappointed.”

“Tabitha was so amazing and took such great care of Taco! I really appreciated all of the pictures she sent me as well. It was really great as well that Taco had other dog friends to play with while I was gone! Next time I go out of town, I would definitely book again!”

“I really want to say Big Thank You for taking care of my dog. This was first time for me to use dog sitter and I wa scared and unsure how this will work. And big Wow!!!! “My baby was having so much fun I was worried he might not want to come home with me! He even got my little stinker to play fetch- something that me, my parents, and a boyfriend haven’t been able to convince him to do since I got him. So glad to have found a place Chance likes to take him when I am not able to take him with me.”

“Kathryn makes my vacations more enjoyable! What a relief to know my cat is in such experienced hands. Kathryn is extraordinarily attentive and spends a lot of quality time with Jim Catsby, petting and brushing, etc. She sends frequent pictures so i can continually see how happy he is in her company. It makes me happy to see that he’s never lonely. Kathryn also communicates about any issues, and leaves the house cleaner than when I departed. She is a hard worker and a treasure!”

About: I've loved cats my whole life and have plenty of experience taking care of them. My friends growing up had cats, and I also take care of many strays around the neighborhood. I have cat sit for my friend as well, taking care of meal times, litter box, play, attention, etc. Most of all I just genuinely love cats and spending time with them.
About: I have over 13 years experience doing vet assistant and vet technician tasks and skills as a volunteer at The Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge, IL. I have been employed as part of the membership and philanthropic department at Lincoln Park Zoo from which I learned a great deal, stemming from my biology classes on taxonomy to zoology, to specific animal facts and conservation of threatened animals. I therefore know a great deal of educational background on animal behavior. I studied psychology and comparitive human psychology/animal behavior with a bachelors in science from IIT. I have grown up with dogs, cats, and ferrets. At Southwest Animal Care Center, I bathed, fed, walked, medicated, and cared for boarding and patient animals. I graduated with my veterinary assistant certificate in 2018. After graduating from IIT, I became a kennel attendant and learned a great deal about how to care for animals. Pet care is a daily task for me as I take care for two little fuzzbutt ferrets, Icarus and Agatha. Icarus often wakes me up with his bushy tailed excitement. I'm lucky to have such wonderful critters in my life. Right now, I am only offering dog walking and off-site at client's home services. From what I've read from the anthropologist book "Inside of a Dog" by Alexandra Horowitz, animals, especially dogs, crave human attention so being attentive to an animal's needs is to me, what's most important. This includes communicating with animals to know when they need a bathroom break, when they want play, when they want affection and cuddles, when they want nappy time, being fed according to what their schedule is, and of course, offering healthy treats (if allowed) and new novel smells, toys, etc. I can manage 4-5 walks per day with one or multiple dogs at a time 5-6 days a week. This is my main job and I'm dedicated to providing top care as if they are my own. I take extra care to be a courteous and contentious guest in the owner's home. I treat my stay with respect and humbly care. You can trust me to provide excellent care and keep everything tidy and clean.

About: I take time to learn each cat's personality and temperament. I have 3 cats of my own, one of them which has medical needs. I provide regular updates to give you a peace of mind. I have experience in litter box cleaning, administering oral and subcutaneous medication.
About: I have had dogs many years. We have had different kinds of dogs, such as Rottweiler/German Shepard mix, medium and small. Sat for senior dogs needing a little extra help with ambulation and medication. We have two energetic -boys to play with and take for walks around the dog friendly neighborhood. We have one healthy 17 year old Dachshund in home now that we adopted, who has been with us for over 12 years, who warm ups with guest dogs pretty quickly. Looking forward to have different dogs to share our love and time taking care of them. Took a from ROVER sitting when a kitten adopted our family and we needed to learn to care for cats. Ready to reconnect with dog again. Family oriented care for dogs of all sizes and breeds. Looking to walk or drop in care. Flexible once we meet the pet and owners. Will walk and go into home as requested. High energy or snuggles as needed to accommodate the needs of the dogs and keep them safe while caring for them.

“Patrick took excellent care of my senior cat. He proactively sent me photos and let me know when he checked in on her. He sent photos almost daily which I appreciated. It was great to come home to a clean home and love on my cat. I'm grateful to have a great sitter closeby.”

“Gionna is absolutely fantastic! My rescue cat, who rarely comes out for anyone except me, followed Gionna around the house while she visited. I have to believe that means she’s a wonderful person!”

“She is the perfect cat sitter, caring and passionate for her jog is always noticeable for all she does with my kiddos and my peace leaving them with her is invaluable. Highly recommended, a professional loving and taking care of cats.”

“I’m absolutely thrilled with how my two cats were cared for! She checked in with photos and updates daily, offering such peace of mind while I was away. When I came home, both cats were calm, content, and incredibly affectionate. They were both relaxed and happy. It was obvious they had felt safe, cared for, and absolutely loved in my absence. I couldn’t have asked for better care, and I’ll definitely book her again next time I travel. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and cat-savvy sitter.”

About: I love dogs. I have had one Doberman, one mutt who was the best, and two English Mastiffs. I had a dog everyday of my life until five years ago when my 200 pound English Mastiff named Max died. It broke my heart and hasn't felt right to replace him. But I love dogs and cherish watching the relationship people have with their dogs. I say hi to every pooch on the street that I pass. Rest assured, your dog will be treated with the utmost friendliness and care imaginable. I work from home so your dog will always have a friendly companion around. A side note. No Pit Bulls, No Rottweilers, No Stafford Terriers, No Husky of any sort, and No Doodles of any sort. I'm sure if any of these five dogs are part of your family that you are a wonderful person and so is your dog. However, they are far from my cup of tea. I work from home. I'm home basically all the time. And other than that, I just work on landscaping my front and back yards. I have a fenced in yard. Your pet is in great hands. I work from home. About: Available on some weekdays and weekends, will incorporate lots of exercise and playtime, have years of experience with caring for dogs, like my dog Benji. I don’t prefer to do house-boarding just because my current family dog isn’t dog-friendly with others. Because I grew up without a dog and have always wanted one, I was hoping to fulfill that gap with caring for other dogs. I am responsible enough to ensure everything will go smoothly, and have a calm demeanor in case of emergencies. Having always been a dog lover, I can provide you with the service of being rest assured that the relationship between your dog and me will be a reciprocal and enjoyable one! No guarantees of feelings not becoming attached however! If you are looking for an involved, energetic playmate for your dog or simply a caretaker, I can be of generous service to you and your dog.

Due to my veterinary background, I'm comfortable and experienced with 🐾cat grooming (nail trims) 🐾dog grooming (nail trims) 🐾giving subcutaneous fluids I bring professional and loving care to every visit. About: I’ve lived around animals since I was a little girl and have owned a diverse range of pets myself. I grew up caring for my Hungarian Vizsla into college as well, even while he got sick and eventually had to be put down. I have experience owning rabbits, gerbils, dogs, cats. I live with two sweet cats now with my boyfriend and his mother, I’m home most of the time taking care of them. I love animals and have always felt more comfortable with them than humans sometimes. I believe every pet should be taken care of with compassion and a watchful eye. I understand animal body language and always respect what the animal needs or wants for their own sake and for my safety. I’d be honored to help any family with their furry babies! Since I am a university student online my schedule is very open and flexible. I expect most pet sitting jobs to require seeing the animals at least 3 times a day, every day needed. I am looking for another part time job but would allow me to leave work in cases where animals need care in the afternoon as well. Our cats are kept inside most of the time but we do have a yard with a fence that allows them to be outside supervised. If the weather allows for it, we let them out to get exercise in and just have some stimulation. We have to feed them separately as one cat likes to try to steal food from the other. They’re both on their diets to lose some weight so feeding times are in order now for them.

“I recently adopted a rescue who is having a hard time adjusting to new people. Kathryn did a great job with him! Despite him growling at her she was patient with him and helped him calm down so she could walk him. She was reliable and understanding. I then asked her if she could come again last minute and without hesitation she agreed! I would definitely work with Kathryn again!”

About: Hi! I'm looking for new wonderful pets to walk and take care of! I have taken in four rescues, all with different special physical and behavioral needs. I currently have two Pitbull mixes, one Lab mix, and a multiple tropical aquariums! Caring for animals has been a passion of mine since I was young. A favorite activity of mine is taking my dogs to local forest preserves where they can play and exert their energy. I can administer eye drops, pills, and ointments to pets as my own have different medications that they need on a regular basis. I have also taken classes in care for companion animals. Special needs animals have a forever place in my heart because I believe that every pup or cat deserves to enjoy life to the fullest! Whether that is hiking at a trail, swimming in a lake, or curling up on the couch- I'd love to help them do that! Currently very open for scheduling. Stays for over a week will have to be discussed as I do have to ensure time to take care of my own animals. I do not host animals in my own home, but I am adaptable to a variety of routines and activities you and your pet would enjoy.

“Mercedes was wonderful. There was a timely drop-off and pickup, she provided regular updates with pictures, and not to mention she made me cookies! I’ll be using her again and my dog loved her and her family!”

“Great Care! Manuel was professional and caring. He communicated throughout the day, sending updates and pictures. He went above and beyond caring for Levi. She was extremely happy and tired when I picked he up. I would highly recommend Manuel to take care of your Furbaby!”

“Tabitha was so amazing and took such great care of Taco! I really appreciated all of the pictures she sent me as well. It was really great as well that Taco had other dog friends to play with while I was gone! Next time I go out of town, I would definitely book again!”

“My baby was having so much fun I was worried he might not want to come home with me! He even got my little stinker to play fetch- something that me, my parents, and a boyfriend haven’t been able to convince him to do since I got him. So glad to have found a place Chance likes to take him when I am not able to take him with me.”

“Ethel has cared for our Luna multiple times over the last year and we cannot say enough about how awesome Ethel is. Luna comes home happily exhausted after her fun stays with Ethel and Ethel’s dog Tutsi. Ethel provides plenty of photo and text updates while on their walks and visits to the dog park. She’s responsive to messages, and she’s flexible and accommodating for dropoff and pickup. Ethel is so incredibly kind, and we always know Luna is in good hands with her. We’re so grateful to have found Ethel and you will be, too.”
“I have never let anyone watch my dog overnight but when I met Barbara for a meet and greet I felt very comfortable with her and her love and knowledge of dogs, especially pit bulls put my mind at ease. She was very communicative and sent pictures and videos to assure me that Lily was having a great time and Barbara and her family enjoyed keeping Lily company. I have an upcoming trip which I’ll be gone for 9 days and this really puts my mind at ease knowing Lily will be in good hands. I would recommend Barbara to others.”

“Very nice experience with Jaqueline, she was very attentive to jax, kept us in the loop as to how jax was doing. her home was very clean and nice backyard for the dogs to play around.”

“Always a pleasure having Cary watch our babies. Communication is always quick and efficient. I needed to make a modification to drop off time this visit and Cary was easily accommodating. Drop off and pick up are always such a smooth transition where they meet us outside. We will continue to prefer Cary for all our dog sitting needs :)”

“Addi loved her time with Dara. She got walks and plenty of play time. Dara sent pics to keep me updated. It was my first time using Rover or anyone other than family. Highly recommend Dara.”

“Lynn took great care of our elderly, sweet Toffee. Kept us informed when a minor health issue flared up and took appropriate care of her. Sent updates regularly. We highly recommend Lynn!”

“Elizabeth did an excellent job caring for our fur baby Molly. She sent pictures, updated us throughout the day, and even delivered her to our hotel. We were able to enjoy our visit to Chicago, knowing that Molly was happy and well taken care of. Thank you Elizabeth!”

“We are so grateful to have found a trusted caregiver for Wiggles! Tamara is so incredibly nice and flexible when we had an unforeseen circumstance change our plans. Wiggles had such a good time playing with her friends, we were worried she was disappointed to come home! Thank you Tamara, Maggie, and Paulie!”

“Many thanks to Phyllis and her husband for taking great care of our two dogs. They are great — very responsive, professional and loving! We look forward to seeing them at the end of the month when we are at a wedding!”

“Desiree was amazing with our 4 year old terrier mix and high energy 5 month old puppy! We were nervous with our puppy who hadn’t been in boarding before, and she was great with keeping us posted on their behavior & sending daily pics/updates. Our dogs came home exhausted from having so much fun at their time away. She was also great with our 4 y.o. who preferred her personal space around the younger dogs there. We will absolutely use her again!”

“Tonisa was an excellent dog sitter. She took us at the last hour because our other dog sitter had an emergency. Tonisa provided us with pics and updates throughout the visit. I highly recommend her and our dogs will definitely be back.”
