“I was able to find Jennifer quickly on the Rover app. I chose her by her profile and her close proximity to where I live. She responded very quickly to our request thru the app. She came for a short visit so we and our doberman could meet her. I wanted her also to feel comfortable with our large dog. We needed someone to come a couple of days around midday to fed, potty, walk and play our very active 8 month old 60 lb dog. We had her come for an hour each day. It was also the first time we were leaving her all day. Jennifer did exactly what was asked and says she looks forward to helping us out again. I know we will use her in the future.”

“SO amazing!!!! Gionna is so friendly and such a pleasure to work with. Not only did she take care of everything we needed for our kitty while we were gone but she went above and beyond to accommodate our kitty’s initial shyness and with Gionna’s patience and knowledge of cats, she was able to get her to come out and play/cuddle too!!! Gionna is so great and really helped us to be able to relax and trust our beloved pet was well taken care of while we were gone. Thank you so SO much again for being so awesome Gionna!!!!!!”

“Amanda was the first rover experience I had; she has a lot of dog experience and was very friendly! I booked her very last minute and she was willing to meet with me and have flexibility for my needs. She came the next day to care for our new puppy, sent notes, and was willing to answer any of my questions about our first day apart from the puppy. I look forward to using her dog boarding services in the future.”

About: I've had dogs my whole life, helped with training, and often would dog and house sit for friends and family. I've attended several dog training courses with some of my own dogs, as well as researching and practicing on my own. I've helped a close friend and my sister do basic training with their own dogs. I also have 2 cats, and am careful to adjust treatment of all my animals to their personality and needs! I am available Mon/Tues/Saturday. I can be available Wednesday and Thursday with advanced notice. I am only available Sundays and/or Fridays upon request and with at least 3 weeks notice. I currently work part time in the service industry and am getting ready to go back to school for a career change. My schedule is mostly flexible, but I do have a commitment to my other job as well. I'm happy to work with anyone who needs me during unavailable days, don't be afraid to ask and we can see if we can work it out! My dog is not dog friendly, so I do not do any care at my residence. However, it means I am experienced with dogs who need a bit more awareness in their care than others! I'm attentive and firm, and am willing to go for a 2 hour hike or rest in the house depending on their needs.
About: I have cared for my dog, Comet for the past 8 years. In addition, I have also cared for about 5 families of pets for a total of 6 dogs, 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs, 1 turtle and 1 axolotl. I am willing to put as much dedication to those I watch after or walk as is requested and am very good, thorough and thoughtful at following directions and taking care of all animals. I do have a part time job in Naperville, so I am available on the days I work before 7 and after 6. Whichever times work the best for the client is what I will abide to. I will treat your home and pets with the utmost care and consideration. I will follow your pets care instructions exactly as you would like.

“Desiree was fabulous with our rescue pup, who is a very nervous girl indeed, and our rescue cat, who is the consummate international man of mystery when it comes to hiding out.. I recommend her without reservation!”

“Tara gave my cat fabulous, attentive care, as always! I’m grateful she always communicates and sends wonderful pictures. It’s the next best thing to being able to visit Jim Catsby myself. Thanks very much!”

“I will never go to another sitter, ever! She takes care of my cat who is an absolute terror to people, and Ethel is bery kind to her. She goes above and beyond every time I have her!”

About: Pets have always been a part of my life. From my first fish to my 6 year old Labrador now I can’t ever stop hanging around animals. My neighbours friends and family always say I’m the animal whisperer. Dogs and cats are my primary specialty encompassing walks, play time, meal time, you name it I’ll be able to do it with them. I’m a student athlete so my schedule is pretty flexible to stop in during the days or stop in overnights. Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 5,778 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Worth. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Worth. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
