“Mercedes has been nothing but wonderful. She took great care of our puppy who was only 5 months old. There was never a moment I had to worry about my dog not being in good care. She kept us updated, sent lots of pictures, and ensured us she was having a great time. She took our puppy on many walks and played with her lots! Her husband and her kids also loved the dog and got many pictures of them cuddling with her. I cannot recommend her enough, and went above and beyond! Mercedes is passionate about taking care of dogs and her kids and husband also have a deep love for animals. About: I’ve had a dog in our lives for the past 12 years who passed away a couple months ago. We rescued 3 kittens in 2021. Jack is our oldest cat and he is quite a character. Luz is our middle cat and she is the sweetest little thing to look at/she loves to talk. Baby is our not so little baby and is such a friendly loving cat. I’m currently working 80% remote from home during the week and available on the weekends. Having my cats at home have kept me company and make the day go by faster. House is cleaned and sanitized on the daily to prevent any contagious illnesses. Exercise is done through nature trails in the area. I had a dog everyday of my life until five years ago when my 200 pound English Mastiff named Max died. It broke my heart and hasn't felt right to replace him. But I love dogs and cherish watching the relationship people have with their dogs. I say hi to every pooch on the street that I pass. About: I’ve taken care of my two dogs ever since I was a little girl, when no one else were able to provide for them. I love my dogs to death and enjoy being around dogs. Enjoying the company of other dogs is the reason why I chose this job. Pet care fits into my daily/weekly routine because I love walking/running outside during the day. It helps me get my steps in and I love nature walks. It helps me get a breath of fresh air and relieve my mind. Being around animals makes me really happy and I love their energy. About: I have taken a dog behavior training at a local shelter. I have dog sat for family members for multiple days (in house and my home ) Unfortunately I work during the week. I am free Saturday and Sunday to pet sit or just to give your fur baby some love and attention for a couple hours while you’re away. I do not have pets of my own due to housing circumstances. While in a client’s home I ensure that all potentially dangerous items are out of reach and secure from the pets. I give pets their space when showing signs of distress. As well as make sure they have their favorite comfort items.

My +3 years working at a dog daycare facility had me safely handling a pack of up to 25 dogs; providing exercise & engagement, soft corrections, and positive reinforcement. To do so, it was necessary to be observant and in tune with the dog's behavior and always on the lookout for any signs of stress or aggression. As a bather and groomer, I was focused on hygiene but a large aspect of the job relied on my knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques. I've owned cats my entire life and have worked with a TNR rescue the past few years getting pregnant females and unneutered male cats fixed and adopted. I also have pet care insurance with animal baliee coverage in case of emergencies. I always care for every animal as if they are my own and I understand how important it is for them to feel comfortable and loved. I work part-time on the night shift, so I'm usually out of the house between 9:30pm and 2am Monday through Friday. Outside of that- my schedule is flexible. I am available on most weekends and holidays. I only book one client at a time for pet sits and boarding, so your pet(s) will have my full attention. I live in a quiet suburban neighborhood with a huge, unfenced yard. I own a variety of animal care supplies and equipment.

She kept us updated, sent lots of pictures, and ensured us she was having a great time. She took our puppy on many walks and played with her lots!
