About: Although I have no professional experience working with dogs, growing up I have owned several. As a result, I have turned into a huge dog lover, and I am very comfortable around all breeds and sizes. In addition, I have handled dogs with varying types of demeanor from some that are more nervous and submissive, as well as those who are more dominant. I treat and love every dog I meet as if they were my own. :) I actually did Rover for several years, but took a break as I moved to the UK for a bit. I'm back in the Chicagoland area now though as I figure out next steps, which means lots of time for walks, playtime, and snuggles as I navigate the minefield that is LinkedIn. I'm always happy to check in throughout the day with pictures and videos as I want to make sure you feel confident that your dog is properly taken care of while you're away. “Caroline kept in touch at least once a day and sent pictures of my dogs. My dogs did have several accidents that I found in other rooms and on my rug a few times. When I got home my dogs had no water and both were extremely thirsty. I did ask her to get my mail daily and put it on the counter, however, that didn’t happen and my mail box was over filled. Overall she did a good job, my little dog seemed a lot lighter because he doesn’t eat when I’m gone, they are both back to themselves today.”

About: I have taken care of friends and family and fellow neighbors pets ranging from yorkies to bull mastiffs. “Stephanie pup sat and house sat for us while we were out of town for over a week and she was FANTASTIC every step of the way. She came over to meet our two pups and they instantly connected, even our doggo who’s a bit of a scaredy cat loved her instantly. We explained the flow of a typical day before we left, and throughout the trip we never for a second worried that Stephanie needed extra reminders or pings. Stephanie sent us regular updates and pics of the pups as they explored the neighborhood on their leashed walks. Stephanie was also very clean and treated our place with a ton of respect - we’d had the place cleaned before we left and it looked even cleaner and tidier when we got back. Overall we were really happy with Stephanie, who helped us out immeasurably while also juggling her work. Our pups were well taken care of, our place was looked after, and I honestly can’t remember another trip we took where we didn’t have to worry at all about how our girls were doing, and we have Stephanie to thank for that!”

When we came back, both our dogs were happy and calm - a great change from when we would pick them up from boarding or come home to our prior dog sitter in the past. “We cant find the words to express how grateful we were to have Jennifer watch our two furr babies, full blooded Labradors. We have never left our kids with anyone before, so it was a pleasure to have her in our home with the kids for 8 days and had not one worry! She sent us pictures and updates daily, which was wonderful to see how happy the kids were. Even with it being cold outside, she threw the ball for them and played with them. Not only did she take fantastic job watching our kids, she kept our home in tip top shape, and I have the worst case of OCD and I would have her back with no questions asked!!! About: I started taking care and training dogs when I was 13. My parents rescued my dog Luna when I was 14 and I took care of her every day and trained her, she even understands Spanish! She is the sweetest dog ever but I currently don’t live with her anymore. I also enjoy taking care of kids and I am very patient and confident in my ability to handle anything. I love to teach and I am very passionate about what I do. Once I start something I work hard to become better everyday. I am currently on summer break so I have plenty of free time. I am fully committed to working Monday-Saturday mostly from 8am-9pm. My current schedule is simple. I go to the gym from 9-11:30am and pretty much free the rest of the day. I have a part time job and I work every other week Sat-Sun from 4-10. I have a really flexible schedule so feel free to ask any questions! I would usually take my dog out for her first walk at 8 in the morning. I would take her out for at least 15min and repeat this every 3/4 hours. After her first walk I fed her breakfast, sometimes I’d crack an egg on top or drizzle honey which is great for dogs, and I fed her twice a day. If it was muddy outside I would clean her paws and fur after. I would play with her and teach her new tricks every now and then. If her breath was bad I would brush her teeth at night. I loved cuddling and sleeping with her and I would do everything to make sure she was happy.

About: Cat owner with two cats experienced in feeding with special diets, litter care, and administering oral medications. Comfortable with shy, playful, or senior pets, providing calm, attentive, reliable in-home care. I also have a medium size pet stroller for cats (or dogs) who like the fresh air but aren’t too interested in walking! I work a hybrid schedule and am typically home 4/7 days a week. The other 3 days, I am usually away from 7a-3p. My schedule is pretty flexible and if I’m stuck at the office I’ll be able to drop in for a quick walk during lunch time. I’m more than happy to meet up with first time clients and their pets to see if we’re a good match before initial sitting. Let me know about any special diet, medication, quirks, favorite toys, and favorite spots for walks. Anything else you can think of let me know! “Emily was great! She stayed at our house for 5 nights, watching our 10 year old great Pyrenees. She was available to house sit with only a week's notice, which we are very grateful for. She had good communication on giving me updates and also very timely whenever I reached out. I had genuine peace of mind while we were out of state. House was just as clean as, maybe even cleaner than, when we left it, huge relief after our long day of flying. We came home to our happy sleeping dog! Our dog just required morning/evening feeding and morning/afternoon/evening potty breaks at a minimum, and Emily definitely put in more than the bare minimum. She gave our dog all the extra weather permitting outside play time and inside loves that I would have given my dog if I was home, so we are very happy with Emily! Definitely would rebook!
