“Caroline kept in touch at least once a day and sent pictures of my dogs. My dogs did have several accidents that I found in other rooms and on my rug a few times. When I got home my dogs had no water and both were extremely thirsty. I did ask her to get my mail daily and put it on the counter, however, that didn’t happen and my mail box was over filled. Overall she did a good job, my little dog seemed a lot lighter because he doesn’t eat when I’m gone, they are both back to themselves today.”

“Claire watched our 3 dogs for a week while we went on vacation. From the meet and greet to the actual trip Claire was quick to respond. Communication is the most important thing to me and she was great at all times through the week. Plenty of pics sent to while we were gone. The dogs were well taken care of and the house was too. About: Although I have no professional experience working with dogs, growing up I have owned several. As a result, I have turned into a huge dog lover, and I am very comfortable around all breeds and sizes. In addition, I have handled dogs with varying types of demeanor from some that are more nervous and submissive, as well as those who are more dominant. I treat and love every dog I meet as if they were my own. :) I actually did Rover for several years, but took a break as I moved to the UK for a bit. I'm back in the Chicagoland area now though as I figure out next steps, which means lots of time for walks, playtime, and snuggles as I navigate the minefield that is LinkedIn. “Peggy (Margaret) was absolutely fantastic! We had to leave our 5 month old bernedoodle puppy (Ralph) for a week and it was our first time leaving him. About: I’ve taken care of senior dogs who had trouble seeing and walking, cleaned up after them, and handled puppies as young as 1 week old. I’ve worked with dogs ranging from Chihuahuas to Great Danes, so no pet is too small or too big for me. I work part time so my availability changes week to week depending on my shifts, but I always know my schedule in advance so I’ll be upfront with you about when I’m available before we book anything. Pet care is something I take seriously so I make sure I’m not overcommitting if I say I’m available, I mean it. On days I’m not working I’m pretty much free for most of the day. Morning and evening availability is usually the most consistent for me regardless of whether I have a shift. I’ll always communicate with you ahead of time if anything changes and I’m not the type to leave you hanging last minute. I care for my own cat Simba daily, keeping him engaged and comfortable, the same attention and energy I’ll bring to your pet. In your home I’ll handle feeding, playtime, cleaning up any messes, and anything else your pet needs.

“Emily was great! She stayed at our house for 5 nights, watching our 10 year old great Pyrenees. She was available to house sit with only a week's notice, which we are very grateful for. She had good communication on giving me updates and also very timely whenever I reached out. I had genuine peace of mind while we were out of state. House was just as clean as, maybe even cleaner than, when we left it, huge relief after our long day of flying. We came home to our happy sleeping dog! Our dog just required morning/evening feeding and morning/afternoon/evening potty breaks at a minimum, and Emily definitely put in more than the bare minimum. She gave our dog all the extra weather permitting outside play time and inside loves that I would have given my dog if I was home, so we are very happy with Emily! Definitely would rebook! About: I have a dog that is 6 and have helped raise a litter of 9 Australian shepherds! I also use to work as a delivery driver so im use to driving around. I am in school and work part time so I tend to be free during the week. I like staying in so I am also available in the weekends! I wake up around 8 to feed a special diet to my dog, she is currently in a diet. Then I walk her before I get ready for the day. I tend to walk her at least 2 times a day but I have a pretty lazy dog. If it’s sunny outside she likes to sunbathe in the back or front yard and doesn’t like walking. I do like getting 10k steps in a day so I tend to just steal my friends dogs and walk around with them.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 12. I have extensive experience grooming cats and dogs of various breeds. If you have a very active dog, running with your dog would be a great pleasure. I’m currently working part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your doggies/cats! I’m available for boarding any day of the week including holidays. I have a large fenced yard and a friendly dog/cat to keep your pup company. My 8-year-old also would be happy to play with a new friend. I can easily crate your dog if needed.

About: Since I was young, I would knock on my neighbors doors to see if I could walk their dogs, just because I wanted to hang out with them! When we got our first family dog, my Mom made me go with her to the pet smart training sessions because I couldn’t get enough of the training shows on Animal Planet. Now, as an adult, I have friends and family that use me as a reliable source for housesitting, dog walking, bathing, and play time. I am currently an undergrad student home for the summer, I have a part-time job with a very flexible schedule, and my own reliable vehicle! I have a spacious backyard and a house with lots of light. I have a large crate, toys, various sized beds, food/water bowls, leashes and doggy bags. I also live near a long walking trail and a dog-friendly park. If I sit at your house, I love exploring new areas and am happy to take your pet to their favorite places!

About: I'm a Certified Veterinary Technician with 6 years of experience. Not only am I able to walk or play with your pet but I can also administer medications orally and in injectable form if needed. I can also help with after care from surgeries like spays, neuters and TPLOs. I do work full time as a technician but able to walk and feed pets before and after my shifts. On my days off I can provide longer walks and play time as needed. For pets in their own home I will make sure they are fed and given water. If owners have fenced in yard I will monitor their time outside. If dogs need to be walked I will be mindful of other pets in the area.
