“Caroline kept in touch at least once a day and sent pictures of my dogs. My dogs did have several accidents that I found in other rooms and on my rug a few times. When I got home my dogs had no water and both were extremely thirsty. I did ask her to get my mail daily and put it on the counter, however, that didn’t happen and my mail box was over filled. Overall she did a good job, my little dog seemed a lot lighter because he doesn’t eat when I’m gone, they are both back to themselves today.”

About: Although I have no professional experience working with dogs, growing up I have owned several. As a result, I have turned into a huge dog lover, and I am very comfortable around all breeds and sizes. In addition, I have handled dogs with varying types of demeanor from some that are more nervous and submissive, as well as those who are more dominant. I treat and love every dog I meet as if they were my own. :) I actually did Rover for several years, but took a break as I moved to the UK for a bit. I'm back in the Chicagoland area now though as I figure out next steps, which means lots of time for walks, playtime, and snuggles as I navigate the minefield that is LinkedIn. About: I’ve taken care of senior dogs who had trouble seeing and walking, cleaned up after them, and handled puppies as young as 1 week old. I’ve worked with dogs ranging from Chihuahuas to Great Danes, so no pet is too small or too big for me. I work part time so my availability changes week to week depending on my shifts, but I always know my schedule in advance so I’ll be upfront with you about when I’m available before we book anything. Pet care is something I take seriously so I make sure I’m not overcommitting if I say I’m available, I mean it. On days I’m not working I’m pretty much free for most of the day. Morning and evening availability is usually the most consistent for me regardless of whether I have a shift. I’ll always communicate with you ahead of time if anything changes and I’m not the type to leave you hanging last minute. I care for my own cat Simba daily, keeping him engaged and comfortable, the same attention and energy I’ll bring to your pet. In your home I’ll handle feeding, playtime, cleaning up any messes, and anything else your pet needs.

About: I love animals and respect their personalities. I amaze people with how quickly their pets open up to me and fall in love with me. Your pet will be excited to see me and I will treat them with all the care they deserve I used to take care of my dog every day. We played a game with her every day, including hide-and-seek which I trained her to play. I used to have a cat for years but sadly my wife is allergic I am careful to respect a pet’s boundaries and don’t come on too strong. I pay close attention to the signals they give me and it helps me quickly get familiar with them and have them cuddling up to me in no time.

“Emily was great! She stayed at our house for 5 nights, watching our 10 year old great Pyrenees. She was available to house sit with only a week's notice, which we are very grateful for. She had good communication on giving me updates and also very timely whenever I reached out. I had genuine peace of mind while we were out of state. House was just as clean as, maybe even cleaner than, when we left it, huge relief after our long day of flying. We came home to our happy sleeping dog! Our dog just required morning/evening feeding and morning/afternoon/evening potty breaks at a minimum, and Emily definitely put in more than the bare minimum. She gave our dog all the extra weather permitting outside play time and inside loves that I would have given my dog if I was home, so we are very happy with Emily! Definitely would rebook! About: **Please note: only one dog at a time will be boarded. Puppies must be at least 6 months old, with all vaccines and fully potty trained** I’ve always had a passion for dogs and found that spending time with them gives me the most joy. I’ve had my Labrador for 8 years and my family and friends have trusted me to dog sit their pets as well. I’m experienced in walking them, feeding them and giving medication as needed. I provide plenty of play time either in my yard or inside the house. I enjoy being active with them and making sure they’re happy and comfortable during their stay. Please note: Puppies must be at least 6 months and completely potty trained and have all their vaccinations before I’m able to board them. Last minute requests will have an additional $10 added to the total stay. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I take breaks frequently and can dedicate play time, walks and being attentive watching your pet. I have a fenced yard and have a very friendly lab to keep your fur baby company. I’m always keeping an eye on the dogs and make sure water is always available as well.

“Nancy did a great job watching our dog Atticus! He normally gets very sad when we’re gone, but Nancy made sure he got enough love and attention and he was happy and relaxed. Atticus loved Nancy and even went into the room she stayed in a few times to check if she was still there. She sent frequent updates on his mood, whether he ate, and what they were up to, including sending pictures. We will definitely hire Nancy again!”

About: I started taking care and training dogs when I was 13. My parents rescued my dog Luna when I was 14 and I took care of her every day and trained her, she even understands Spanish! She is the sweetest dog ever but I currently don’t live with her anymore. I also enjoy taking care of kids and I am very patient and confident in my ability to handle anything. I love to teach and I am very passionate about what I do. Once I start something I work hard to become better everyday. I am currently on summer break so I have plenty of free time. I am fully committed to working Monday-Saturday mostly from 8am-9pm. My current schedule is simple. I go to the gym from 9-11:30am and pretty much free the rest of the day. I have a part time job and I work every other week Sat-Sun from 4-10. I have a really flexible schedule so feel free to ask any questions! I would usually take my dog out for her first walk at 8 in the morning. I would take her out for at least 15min and repeat this every 3/4 hours. After her first walk I fed her breakfast, sometimes I’d crack an egg on top or drizzle honey which is great for dogs, and I fed her twice a day. If it was muddy outside I would clean her paws and fur after. I would play with her and teach her new tricks every now and then. If her breath was bad I would brush her teeth at night. I loved cuddling and sleeping with her and I would do everything to make sure she was happy.

For me, communication and sticking to a schedule is key as Millie requires medications. She was a great sitter for our fur baby. Love to use her again.”
