About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and experienced dog mom with hands-on experience caring for large dogs at different stages of life, from energetic puppies to senior dogs. I currently have two large dogs of my own, so I’m very comfortable with bigger, stronger dogs and understand the importance of exercise, patience, consistency and lots of attention. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. About: I’ve been caring for dogs for many years, primarily through dog sitting for family, friends, and others in my community. I’m comfortable keeping up with regular feeding schedules, long walks, trips to the dog park, playtime, and making sure each pup gets plenty of attention and exercise. I’ve also helped administer basic medications, including pills and eye drops, when needed. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I’m happy to follow your instructions to keep them comfortable and on their normal schedule. Whether your pup needs an active walking buddy, lots of playtime, or someone to keep them company and give them plenty of cuddles, I’m happy to help! Although I work full-time, pet care fits very easily into my weekly routine. I typically work from home two days a week, usually Mondays and Fridays, which gives me extra flexibility for walks, check-ins, and spending time with pets throughout the day. I’m also generally free in the evenings after work and have open availability on weekends. I enjoy staying active and getting outside, so taking dogs for walks or spending time playing with them is something I genuinely enjoy. I’m very comfortable planning my schedule around pet care and making sure each pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they need. Since I have a flexible routine outside of work, I’m able to be reliable and consistent with the pets I’m caring for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to keep their normal routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I’ll follow any instructions provided regarding feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and other specific needs. I’m respectful of the home and will stick to the common areas and spaces needed to care for the pet. I’ll always clean up after myself, keep things tidy, and make sure the home is left just as I found it. Most importantly, I want both the pet and their owner to feel comfortable and confident while they’re away.

“This past week, we had our first ever experience using Rover. I’ll admit, we were hesitant to have, for lack of better terms, a stranger staying in our home taking care of our two dogs. As soon as we met Robin at the meet and greet, the hesitancy fell away. She stayed in our home for four nights and the way she communicated, how she very clearly loved on our babies, and the care, attention, and commitment she showed to the job was evident from moment one. Robin sent countless photos and videos while we were away and each one only showed how much she cared. Not to mention, our boys looked as happy and as comfortable as could be. Robin spoke to us like we have been friends for ages and she immediately picked up on the quirks of our dogs while not holding it against them. When we arrived home, we were greeted with the most adorable, hilarious, and detailed report of how our boys did while we were away. I have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes as well as cats and small animals (birds, fish, reptiles, etc) so you can rest assured that your beloved critters are in good hands! My main goal in pet care is to provide reliable and respectful service that keeps your furry friend happy and gives you peace of mind in knowing they are properly cared for while you are away. I am extremely flexible with scheduling which means I will be available to do reoccurring visits or extended pet sitting if need be. I have my own transportation so I am happy to make visits that are a bit out of my area as well. I have worked in professional pet care for 7+ years which has including both daily dog walking and overnight house-sitting. Being respectful of my client’s pets and their homes is of utmost importance to me. As well as pet sitting I am more than happy to take on other house-sitting responsibilities such as watering plants and bringing in mail/packages.
