About: I have a special way of connecting with every dog I meet. I've rescued stray dogs from the streets in California since I was a young adult, and I’ve had dogs of my own since I was a little girl. I volunteered with Bully Rescue Fresno in California during college and worked there for a year. My love for dogs has always been part of who I am. A close friend and former Rover sitter encouraged me to sign up as a sitter on Rover. She believes I am good at caring for dogs, show them as much love as I did my own, and that I'm a fun person any dog could ask for. So here I am, and I want to gain experience caring for dogs. I'm a deaf mom of three girls and two dogs. I’ve been staying home since my third baby was born in August and working remotely. My work hours are very flexible, so I can take care of the dogs as much as I can while I’m home. I have fence yard, two adorable dogs, and three young children. We all love dogs and are friendly here. I can take care of dogs while doing errand at home since im staying home.

I’ll have plenty of time to give your pet the care and attn it needs. I have a partially fenced in shared yard, but able to sit in back with it with a tie out.I will also walk your dog 3 to 4 times a day. I also have a safe area that will give your pet enough space to roam around in and stretch if I need to go into the office. Otherwise it’s free range with supervision while I’m home unless otherwise specified.

About: I’ve been around dogs of all shapes and sizes essentially my entire life. I’ve dog sat for a multitude of family friends as well as caring for my own dogs at home extremely well from training them in their puppy stages all the way to caring for them in their senior lives. I genuinely love all dogs and would be more than happy to help love yours as well! I’m currently a commuting student at DePaul University in Chicago, meaning I travel in and out of the city most of the morning. However, my afternoons are almost always free and I have no classes on Friday’s or during weekends so I’m even more available during them. I help care extensively for my own dog at home as well as having experience caring for dogs in an overnight stay setting with various family friends as well, so staying overnight for a dog is no issue in anyway to me.

“Alexandria was a stand-out from the first interaction. I knew she was paying close attention to instructionsand concerns, because she would repeat back to me her understanding of why it was important to mention. She also offered assurances on points that I might not have thought of. I have two dogs, and I was worried about her getting pulled down stairs or losing control, because they are strong. I was grateful that she offered a solution to that right away, suggesting she be accompanied by her friend. Without hesitation, she supplied the friend's ID. Terrifically helpful was receiving a text message from her the day of our big night out while we were busy with other things, so it was a good reminder and a timely one that she was planning to be punctual and would let us know when she was 15 minutes out. It was additionally helpful that she was so flexible with changing the start and end time. We offered her the option of leaving when we were delayed in returning, but she insisted it was no problem to stick around, and she and her friend gave a thorough report of snacks as directed and digestive outcomes on walks. We're still enjoying the pictures and videos of our dogs' time together with Alexandria. Hope we have opportunity to book again.”
