Pet Lover with Hospital Experience!
Looking for a dog walker? Drop-in visits or both? I also offer cat sitting / drop ins! I’m 28 and work full-time at Lurie Children’s Hospital on their psych unit, with over 5 years of hospital experience. I’m also currently pursuing my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling! I’m a huge animal lover and have two huskies and two cats of my own, so I know how important it is to find someone you can truly feel comfortable with and trust with your pets. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, getting dogs outside, and making sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. I’m located in Hinsdale and the surrounding areas, and I’m also available in Chicago due to work. I’m more than happy to follow your pet’s routine and individual needs, whether that means a walk, a quick check-in, medication administration or some extra attention. Making sure to provide comfort and care to your furr baby by following your gand keeping you updated on any before or afters you pet may need or I make sure every furr baby feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for in your home! I make to follow your pet’s usual routine and any specific care instructions you provide. I also prioritize keeping you updated with any important changes, needs, or concerns I notice before, during, or after their stay. My goal is to give your pet the same love, attention, and comfort they receive at home while giving you full peace of mind.

Rylie enjoyed her stay with Cynthia. Cynthia sent pictures everyday and Rylie did not seem to want to leave when I picked her up! That is a clear indication that she had a great time with Cynthia. I was a little nervous to have to leave Rylie somewhere different because her usual person wasn’t available but this worked out amazingly well.
Cynthia was wonderful! She was so patient with my dog. This was the first time sitting and it took my dog some time to adjust. She had a dog of her own which was great to have someone for my dog to play with. My dog was worn out (in a good way) by the time she got home! I recommend and would use again.
Cynthia was awesome! Sent pictures daily and would respond immediately to any questions I had. Clean home. And it was clear she cared for my pet as her own. Would def recommend her to sit your pet!
Cynthia is very sweet and made sure I knew what was going on. My dogs loved her, and I definitely will be asking her to sit for them again!

Schedule
I'm currently 3-4 days in the city due to work and school, as well as 2 days (Tuesdays + Wednesdays) I am in the Northwest Suburb area. More than happy to do check ins / drop ins and walks, before or after days I do have work, school, or internship.

- Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has any special needs such as allergies, medications, fears, or behaviors I should be aware of to proritize the safety first and foremost of your pet, as well as myself. I’m also flexible and happy to accommodate individual personalities and preferences. I’m open to caring for dogs of all different breeds, sizes, and temperaments as long as we can provide a safe and comfortable environment for everyone but again mot importantly your furr baby.
