Safety, trust & environment

I currently do not have any pets in my home, which allows me to provide a calm, low-stress environment and give your pet my full attention. My home is clean, pet-friendly, and safe, with plenty of space for a crate if needed, as well as room for pets to comfortably explore and relax. I also have convenient access to multiple dog parks and safe walking areas, making it easy to provide exercise, enrichment, and outdoor time. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of routines, instructions, and household preferences. I aim to keep pets comfortable by maintaining their normal schedule, whether that involves walks, feeding, playtime, medications, or simply providing companionship. My priority is always creating a safe, secure, and stress-free experience for both pets and owners.

Trusted, Loving Care for Your Pets

Pet care experience

Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with big dogs, so I’m very comfortable with large breeds, energetic personalities, and dogs that need structure, exercise, and attention. Back home, I regularly dog-sat for family, friends, and neighbors, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique quirks and routines. I’ve also lived with cats, so I understand their personalities too — from playful and social to independent and observant. I worked as a veterinary assistant for two years, which gave me valuable hands-on experience with animal handling, administering medications, and recognizing when something might be off. I currently volunteer at the Bloomington Animal Shelter and have experience as a wildlife rehabilitator, both of which have made me especially patient, attentive, and calm in all kinds of situations. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just a steady, reassuring presence, I’m happy to provide safe, reliable, and loving care!

Elena had good communication, a clean environment, and friendly disposition. It was my first time leaving my pets. They’re very small and young so I was nervous. Upon arrival, I felt comfortable to leave them in her care. When I picked them up after they stayed for two nights, they seemed happy and healthy just as I’d left them :)

I’ve known Elena for years, and she’s one of the most reliable and caring people I know, especially when it comes to animals. She has two dogs of her own, so she really understands the daily responsibility and attention they need. When she’s watched my dogs, she’s always been great about communication. I can get a little anxious being away from them, and she sends photos and updates without me even having to ask, which I really appreciate. She’s always on time, dependable, and genuinely cares about the dogs she’s looking after. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and attentive.

My family has known Elena for close to twenty years. She is kind, dependable, thoughtful and intelligent. She has taken care of many of our dogs over the course of the past several years when we were out of town and is always very responsible for and loving toward them. She will make an awesome addition to your team!

Hello – I am pleased to recommend my niece, Elena Wilson, as a reliable and trustworthy dog walker. She is a responsible, caring, and hardworking individual who shows genuine compassion for both people and animals. Elena has a natural ability to connect with dogs and is highly attentive to their needs. She carefully observes their behavior and body language, which allows her to quickly notice discomfort or injuries and respond appropriately. Her calm, patient demeanor helps dogs feel safe and comfortable in her care. Dependability is one of Elena’s strongest qualities. She is punctual, detail-oriented, and takes her responsibilities seriously. I have complete confidence in her honesty and judgement, and I know she treats every dog as if it were her own. Elena would be an excellent asset to any pet owner seeking a dedicated and trustworthy care giver. I would recommend her without hesitation. Sincerely, Celeste Reda
