I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. At the age of 18 I started to watch family friends dogs in their homes while house sitting and they relied on me to keep everything going.

Murphy loves to be here with the twins and lots of love and room to roam. Katie and her family take care of our Murphy because we know she is with her "other family". We are so grateful to have found this sitter 4 years ago. Murphy is happy which means so are we!

We had a great experience with Katie! She was always quick to respond to questions and our dog loved playing with her kids! We will definitely be using her next time we need a sitter.

Katie has become my go to sitter and has watched my pup several times now. Initially I chose her because she is home during the day. My shih tzu has some anxiety issues when left alone but if someone is around he is generally pretty low maintenance. This last time, which was a longer stay (about a week) she really went above and beyond. Fergus got hurt the night before I was supposed to drop him with Katie. She was flexible in working with me to get him to the vet (I was able to fit it into my schedule before leaving town) and managing the meds he was given. The first few days I was gone he had a bad reaction to one of the meds that upset his stomach that caused him to not eat and subsequently get sick from not eating. Katie kept me updated every step of the way and was flexible as I talked to the vet and relayed their info. She also went out of her way to get my pups favorite food to help him to take his meds and eat his meals. By the time I got back, she had taken great care of him and he was clearly starting to feel better and act more himself. I am so glad he was someone I can trust and who was so communicative.

Schedule
I am a mom to twins we had a dog but it was older. We are not ready for another dog yet but I need doggies in my life. I am an event planner full time but when I am working events my wife helps out with the dogs. Dogs in our home is like a therapy to both our kids that have social anxiety and sensory needs.

I have a large fenced in yard and an open house so your dog can run free. I am willing to crate your dog if needed or to your liking. My parents dog loves to come visit if your dog loves play dates.
A typical day
Dogs that I watch will be active in my large green grass backyard. They can play fetch, tug of war or just run in circles. There is lots a place for sniffing around and finding squirrels running up trees.
