I’m also able to adjust my day around a pet’s specific needs, whether that means sticking to a strict feeding schedule, giving medications on time, or providing extra attention for anxious or senior pets. This flexibility also allows me to be dependable for last-minute needs or changing schedules. I understand how important it is for pet parents to feel confident that their pets are being consistently cared for, and I’m able to offer that steady presence. Overall, being home full-time lets me naturally extend the same care, patience, and attentiveness I give my family to the pets I look after—making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

In my home and in clients’ homes, safety, trust, and a calm, comfortable environment are my top priorities. I treat every pet like they are part of my own family and make sure they feel secure, cared for, and understood from the moment they arrive. In my home, pets are supervised and kept in a safe, pet-friendly environment with plenty of space for play, rest, and enrichment. I maintain a consistent routine for feeding, walks, and downtime so pets feel settled and stress-free. I also have a friendly, well-socialized dog who enjoys the company of other animals, which can be great for pets who are comfortable with gentle companionship. If a pet prefers their own space, I’m very mindful of that and always adjust interactions to match their comfort level. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize respecting their space and maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medication routines, exercise needs, and any specific household rules. I also make sure doors, gates, and leashes are handled with extra care to keep pets secure at all times. Building trust is important to me—not just with pets, but with their people. I communicate clearly, provide updates when requested, and pay close attention to each pet’s behavior so I can respond quickly to their needs. My goal is always to create a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets feel relaxed and owners feel completely confident they’re in good hands.

We have been using Christine for 2 months now. We have a 6 month old puppy with a lot of energy! Christine is great about taking her for long walks, playing with her, and sending us daily updates. Its a huge relief knowing our puppy is in great hands with someone we trust while at work. She is also super flexible with our changing schedule which is a major bonus. I can’t recommend Christine enough! She has been taking care of my 1-year-old Bernedoodle, and anyone who knows the breed knows how much energy they have—my dog is especially hyper and needs long, active walks to stay happy. Christine handles him so well. She’s patient, attentive, and makes sure he gets the exercise and attention he needs every time she’s with him. He absolutely loves her and comes back from walks happy, tired, and well cared for—which is no small task! She also watched him for an entire week while we were on vacation, and I had complete peace of mind the whole time. She kept me updated, made sure he stuck to his routine, and treated him like her own. Christine is incredibly reliable, communicative, and genuinely cares about the dogs she works with.
