I have rescued, fostered, adopted, and found homes for cats for around 20 years. I have two cats, Cookie (black, squeaky and lovebug behavior) and Kreme (black and white, loves talking and playing). I adopted them from a rescue organization in Chicago, when they were babies and the runts of their litter. They are my everything! I understand how stressful it can be to find someone trustworthy to watch over your babies. My priority is to ensure that when you must be away, your cat’s routine stays as close to normal as possible, to minimize their stress. As you know, most cats aren’t as “aloof” as we might be told otherwise. They notice your absence, and, guess what? You are their everything! Even if they don’t shout it from the rooftops every day, it’s true.
