Cat Person for Cat People 🙋♀️🐈🐾
I have rescued, fostered, adopted, and found homes for cats for around 20 years. I have two cats, Cookie (black, squeaky and lovebug behavior) and Kreme (black and white, loves talking and playing). I adopted them from a rescue organization in Chicago, when they were babies and the runts of their litter. They are my everything! I understand how stressful it can be to find someone trustworthy to watch over your babies. My priority is to ensure that when you must be away, your cat’s routine stays as close to normal as possible, to minimize their stress. As you know, most cats aren’t as “aloof” as we might be told otherwise. They notice your absence, and, guess what? You are their everything! Even if they don’t shout it from the rooftops every day, it’s true.

During a drop-in visit, I will: 🐾 Ensure a safe environment for your cat(s) 🐾 Feed and provide fresh water for your cat(s) 🐾 Scoop out your cat(s) litterbox(es) and refresh litter as needed 🐾 Engage in play/interaction where THEY set the tempo. In the event they’re too stressed or are of shy temperament, I’m happy to read a book nearby for the remainder of the visit.

I have used Cristl exclusively to care for my cats while I’ve traveled, and she has provided them excellent care each time! Each cat eats different food, and one cat is medicated, so there are a lot of directions for her to follow! She never missed a beat. She communicates well after each visit and spends sufficient time to ensure my kitties have had some company while we are away. I highly recommend Cristl!

Schedule
I work remotely full time, Monday through Friday. I am available early mornings and later in the evening on weekdays, with wider availability on the weekends.
