About: I graduated from University of Illinois this May, and I am looking to make some money before starting work at the end of July. I know first-hand how important a pet is to you/your family, and how important finding reliable care is, so I'm here to help! I have grown up taking care of my family pets (a cat and dog) and many others around my neighborhood. I have experience with cats and dogs of all sizes, and I look forward to meeting yours! I have a fairly flexible schedule, and flexible cancellation policy. I will try my best to accept same day bookings, so please reach out to me, and I would be glad to make something work! I am very patient and am glad to work with your pet to meet their needs. I am also a very active person, so I would be glad to take your dog on a longer walk or run if you would like.
About: I’ve helped take care of dogs my entire life! I took care of my childhood black labs, and still help my parents take care of their 11 year old ACD when they’re out of town. I have a one year old Shepherd mix that I’ve had since she was 3 months old. She recently received her AKC Star Puppy certification! I have experience working with young dogs and old and I’d love to help you out! I’m currently on my summer break so I have flexible availability during the summer months! During the fall and winter I can help you out on the weekends! I take my dog on daily walks and adventures around us. Since we don’t have a yard to play in we like to go to Sniffspots to play around by ourselves or with some friends. I always make sure to keep my dog on a leash if we are not in an enclosed area.

“Jennifer has been such a great find on Rover. She was so invested in the care with my cat even before the cat sitting started, taking notes , preparing ahead of time . She has such a warm, friendly and kind approach when you meet her , even in our messages prior to the meet and greet . She sent thorough daily reports and 4-5 pictures a day which was so fun to see . I’m very confident in using Jennifer again for Rishi and feel so lucky to have found her !!”

About: I have walked dogs for a very large part of my life. I spent a summer a couple years ago walking my neighbor's dog, and I spent a year and a half volunteering at the Naperville Area Humane Society where I cleaned kennels, socialized with dogs, and took the dogs out for walks. This means I have experience handling dogs who are a little stressed out, or who are unfamiliar with me. I am available all days of the week over the summer, unless I am traveling. I am willing to spend as much time as needed with your dog each visit. My experience at the shelter means I am able to listen and understand your dogs needs. If they are uncomfortable in a situation, I know how to get them out of it.
About: I've been taking care of my dog, a lovable mutt named Winston, for the last six years. In that time I've learned about the importance of patience, play time, and just how far a good tummy rub can go. I am currently looking for full-time work after a layoff. I have open availability for check-ins with your dogs, walks, and whatever else is needed. I ensure that every pet that I come into contact with is well taken care of. I have a friendly demeanor with every animal that I come across and enjoy playing with all different types of dogs!
About: I am currently enrolled at Fox College studying to become a vet technician. I have loved animals my whole life. I began volunteering at my local shelter as soon as I could. I began volunteering with my parents since I was only 10 when I started. I have also been lucky enough to foster multiple families of kittens. You can rely on me to keep your pets entertained, their space clean and ultimately make your life easier! I am currently nannying for two boys on weekday afternoons so I am able to walk or check in on pets before or after that commitment. Other than that my schedule is very flexible. When I care for someone else’s pet, I follow their routine, give them affection, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I stick to your instructions and stay in touch so the pet feels well cared for while you’re away.
About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’ve spent years caring for family and friends’ dogs while also attending dog training classes to better understand their needs and behavior. As the proud owner of two very spoiled cats, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust, and I will care for your pets with the same love, attention, and reliability I give my own. I currently work full-time (9-5) which gives me flexibility to perform pet care before and after work, as well as the weekends! I have my own car so transportation is never a problem I am very comfortable caring for pets in the home and love to take dogs on walks. I have experience with most domesticated animals and am willing to learn how yours wants to be cared for.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and I treat each animal with care and safety as I would my own. Animals young or senior, I understand the patience they require for their daily routines I’m a designer and I work remotely, so I have a very flexible schedule which will allow me to provide any care throughout the day/night. I currently do not have a dog, but when I did we had routines of walks, eating and of course play time! I always used leashes and rewarded good behavior with treats. One of my favorite roles in life was being a dog mom, so I understand how important this role is.

About: I grew up with two dogs and two cats and was one of their main caregivers. From feeding and walking to supervising and giving them plenty of love and attention, caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. My boyfriend and I now have our two-year-old boy, Whalon, who is truly family. We include him in everything — hikes, vacations, and everyday adventures. He’s our best friend and a huge part of our lives. I believe caring for an animal is a privilege. I take that responsibility seriously, and I do it with pride, patience, and genuine love. When your companion is with me, they’ll be treated with the same care, respect, and affection I give my own. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I work for a school, so I’m up early and home at a reasonable time each day. This allows me to keep a consistent schedule for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins. On weekends, I’m usually home spending time with family and my own dog, which means I have plenty of availability and flexibility. I truly enjoy incorporating animals into my everyday life — it never feels like a task, it’s something I love. I’m also big on communication and will always keep you updated so you feel comfortable and confident while you’re away. Whether caring for animals in my home or in a client’s home, safety and comfort always come first. Whalon is our top priority — he’s our pride and joy — and we’re constantly making sure he feels secure, happy, and well cared for. That same level of attention and love is exactly what I provide for your companion. We have a fenced yard where Whalon enjoys plenty of exercise and playtime when we’re not out on walks or hikes. I’m very mindful of routines, supervision, and creating a calm, positive environment so every animal feels at ease.

About: My expertise and background lie in zoo and wildlife biology. For the past 10+ years, I’ve worked with a number of reputable animal and wildlife properties, including shelters, nature centers (e.g., Indiana Dunes State Park and Lyman Woods Interpretive Center), wildlife rehab. facilities (e.g., Willowbrook Wildlife Center), and zoological societies (e.g., Safari Lake Geneva). I have an unparalleled passion for animals of all breeds and species, possessing direct experience with the following: dogs, cats, rodents, herps, birds, malacostracans, arachnids, and various hooved mammals (horses, giraffes, camels, donkeys, zebras, antelope, etc.). Our family has also owned a diverse array of critters, great and small; my husband and I have been proud rat parents (very heartbreaking that they only live a few years) and are current rescue parents of a leopard gecko, bearded dragon, and albino Florida kingsnake! As a part-time sitter, I am well-versed in walking, bathing, feeding, and administering medication. For the time being, I am working through Rover part-time on my days off. What better way to spend my free time than to love on pets? :) I’m happy to walk, bathe, feed, and provide medication if need be to your pet. I especially enjoy playtime (e.g. fetch) whether within my client's home, in a fenced-in yard, or at a local park.
“Jenna was great with my cat. Exchanging keys was easy and there was great communication from Jenna during my trip. She gave me a lot of peace of mind about my kitty and apartment while I was away and would definitely work with her again!”

“Absolutely thrilled with Katies care for my cats. She spent extra time then expected, she went above and beyond doing things she didn’t even need to, she took the best pictures of my pets and her comments she left about the visit was well thought out and gave me a good chuckle. I have used several other Rover sitters and she is my favorite! I highly recommend her!”
About: I’ve worked in the animal industry in management for the past 12 years and what a fun time it has been. I worked in the hospital industry for 6 years and switched a few years ago to a hotel for pets! Plus I am a dog trainer! I am very experienced with administering medications, basic grooming services, and overall pet care for your furry friends. I can’t wait to meet your fur friend! I am at home during the weekends, but can come home during my work day as I work close to home. I am home by 3 PM when I go into work! I will always make sure they have a happy, safe, and fun environment to stay. I am a very organized and clean individual and will love on your babies as if they were my own.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Naperville
We are a repeat client of Bonnie’s and have been very happy with the diligent and loving care she has given our dog while we were away. She has earned her star sitter rating. Bonnie went above and beyond to see that our dog was well taken care of, and having confidence in her gave us peace of mind, too.

We have used Tori twice now for extended periods, and we couldn’t be happier. Caring for two senior dogs requires a lot of patience and attention to detail. Tori was incredibly observant of our dogs' mobility limits, ensuring walks were gentle and never rushed. We especially appreciated the consistent photo updates. It’s such a relief to find someone so reliable who treats our older pups with such kindness. We highly recommend Tori!

Stephanie is the absolute best! Our dogs got skunked or sprayed by a possum while we were out of town and Stephanie went above and beyond to help get the stink out. She sprayed them down with odor neutralizer even took them to our groomers to get them bathed! Our dogs love her and we are so grateful to have found her. We will definitely book with Stephanie again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
