I also have experience introducing dogs to one another thoughtfully and at a pace that keeps everyone comfortable. By recognizing signs of curiosity, playfulness, uncertainty, stress, or overstimulation, I can adjust interactions appropriately and help create positive, safe experiences for all pets involved.

 Monday-Thursday: I work 8 AM-4 PM just minutes from home, so I can stop by during lunch for potty breaks, walks, check-ins, and extra attention when needed.
 Fridays: I work remotely, which gives me even more flexibility for walks, playtime, enrichment, and companionship throughout the day. Weekends: My schedule is open, making it easy to accommodate overnight stays, extended visits, and last-minute bookings.

This means visiting pets receive my full attention in a calm environment without competing for space, affection, or supervision. For many dogs, especially anxious, young, senior, shy, or independent dogs, this can make a huge difference. They often settle in more quickly because the environment is quiet, predictable, and focused entirely on them.
 Your pet's routine becomes my routine. Whether they enjoy long walks, playtime, cuddling on the couch, frequent potty breaks, or simply relaxing nearby, I take the time to learn what helps them feel most comfortable.
 My building includes: • Private pet park- a safe, enclosed spot for pets to stretch out, play, and enjoy fresh air during their stay • Quiet park nearby for peaceful walks- ideal for pets who prefer gentle environments over the hustle of community dog areas • Pet wash room- perfect for muddy paws, quick rinses, and keeping pets fresh and comfortable during their stay • Elevator and stair access- every pet gets an option based on their comfort and mobility needs All designed to help pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for.
 
For boarding/daycare, pets who prefer space from other pets can enjoy a one‑household stay.

 My partner is also a lifelong experienced animal lover and often spends her days off with me. Pets naturally gravitate toward her kind, playful energy with them. She provides an extra set of eyes, hands, and attention, which can be especially helpful for puppies, active dogs, and multi-pet households.  When caring for your pet in your home, my goal is for you to return to a happy pet and a home that looks exactly as you left it. I come fully prepared with my own laptop, hotspot, meals, and daily essentials. I don't require Wi-Fi, snacks, streaming services, or household supplies. Most of my time is spent playing with, walking, cuddling, grooming, or simply spending quality time with your pet. I closely follow feeding schedules, household rules, training routines, and walking expectations. I also: • Bring in mail (just lmk)/take out trash • Vacuum pet hair (just lmk) • Keep food and water areas clean • Tidy up after myself • Wipe down surfaces I use • Handle pet-related cleanups • Respect all security measures and gates
 You'll never have surprise visitors, smoking, parties, or drinking in your home. I treat your home with the same care and respect I would expect someone to show mine.

About: Hello, my name is Lissa. I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and I regularly take care of friends and family’s pets while they are away. I’ve volunteered with the animal shelter for a little over a year and am happy to take care of some new furry friends! I do work full-time but have a hybrid schedule. Currently, I am available all day on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I have flexibility on most other weekday evenings too! I am also happy to spend lots of time playing with your pet and will send picture and video updates of how they are doing!

About: I started dog sittng in college for my professors and quickly grew to love it. I've gained experience walking, feeding, and caring for dogs, and I bring these skills to my own pets as well. I'm excited to provide the same care and attention to your dog while you're away. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible and I can accomodate your need. I also offer pickup and drop-off services for a small fee. I have a fenced yard providing a secured space for your dog to play and relax. I also have a senior male Australian Shedperd who loves to play with other dogs, so your pet will have a friendly companion during the stay.

About: I have grown up with dogs and animals my entire life, and they have always been an important part of my family. I have experience with both small and large dogs and have always loved caring for and spending time with them. I especially enjoy being active and going on walks with dogs. I also have seven years of experience training dogs through my local 4-H program, where I developed hands-on experience with training, handling, and building a strong bond with dogs. My lifelong experience with animals and my love for being active make spending time with dogs something I truly enjoy! I’m currently working as a part-time employee for Rover. My available hours are M - F between 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm, and weekends may vary but typically Saturday - Sunday from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm I can be available. I am comfortable with most pet needs such as feeding, checking for fresh water, cleaning litter boxes, and crating (if your pet is kenneled). I also make sure your pet has some quality play time during my visits!

About: I grew up with a dog and now have a dog of my own who is my best friend! He is the best boy. My friends rely on me to take their fur babies out on walks, or even give them advice! Currently looking to do this part time. I am available on weekends. During the weekdays I am available to hang with your pet late afternoon. 😊 Currently not offering your pet to be inside my home. But when if I did, they would have plenty of comfy blankets and toys to play with. At my house I have sniff mats and plenty of balls to keep your pet occupied!

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I have had multiple rescue dogs from puppies to older dogs. I have taken care of family member dogs. I am recently retired from a career in medical imaging. I have a PhD in Physics and have worked in hospitals including patient care. I have always loved dogs and seem to have a special bond with them. Being retired, I have plenty of time to spend with your pet. I will treat your pet as if it was my own. I do not currently have any pets of my own. I recently moved to this area and live in a townhome.
