“the perfect place for a pup! my dog seemed to have the most fun time and was immediately snuggling with the family :) they made him (and myself) feel so comfortable and safe! I will definitely be coming back :)”

“Elise did a great job watching our dog for a week while we were on vacation. She sent photos and let us know how he was doing. We felt very comfortable, knowing that he was in great hands. I’d definitely recommend having Elise watch your pet!”

“Once again Robynn cared for our playful Miles as if he were her own. We had a longer stay and I was so grateful knowing Miles was receiving such love. Lots of photos of the dogs playing together, snuggling in at night and communication was stellar!”

“Millie was actually pretty upset to leave! Sarah and her husband/son were wonderful. Their house is beautiful with an amazing backyard. They watched Millie for 5 days. We were at a wedding out of town with our 5 kids, which we were all participating in, so it was pretty hectic. Communication was great, pictures included and we were able to enjoy ourselves for the whole trip.”

“I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog received from Ashley! From the start, her communication was clear, thoughtful, and reassuring — I felt totally at ease leaving my pup in her hands. She was so organized and clearly experienced, and it showed in how smoothly everything went. I could tell my boy was well looked after and loved while I was away. I’m really grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to book her again!”

“Matt and family were incredibly great to my pet, Peanut. Mine is a super nervous and shy cockapoo mix who is on anti-anxiety medication. The family was welcoming and understanding. They followed all our recommendations to keep peanut comfy and even gave him a soft fur blanket to make him feel home. They took him out for plenty of walks even during those freezing days. Bless their heart! They shared plenty of pictures and kept us updated about peanut. It was nice to see my peanut hanging out with their pets pepper and peanut. They are wonderful people and an amazing family that truly loves dogs!”

“Minqi and her husband were so good with Winston. He is a little shy but he warmed right up to them. Minqi sent lots of pictures and even videos so I knew he was in good hands. I would definitely use them again. Thank you”

“Lynda is a fantastic! She sent us frequent pictures/videos/texts when our dogs were under her care. She is very friendly and communicative! We will definitely board our dogs with her again!”
“Yoda came home very content. By the pictures Amanda and Anton sent he looked like he was getting spoiled and was happy about it. They did a wonderful job taking care of Yoda”

“Nina has a gentle way with dogs. Nina works with my dog, Nella when Nella boards with Nina. Nella is always a little better behaved after I pick her up. Nina shows a level of care and concerned that is unmatched. I feel comfortable that Nella is getting great care when I'm away. A wonderful place to board my dog.”

“Beth was great with my dog Brandy. Brandy was well taken care of and Beth had prompt communication and updates about my dog while I was out of town. Due to a snow storm my return was delayed by a day and Beth was able to accommodate the last minute change. I would definitely recommend Beth to anyone looking for a great dog sitter with a spacious fenced in yard.”

“Selena is quick to respond and so easy to work with! You can tell that she really loves animals - I completely trusted her with my greyhound, Dahlia. Would 100% rebook!”

“Danielle was great, she was flexible with our drop off and pick up schedule and was very willing to snuggle with our dog, who believes she was born to do nothing else.”

“We used Eric for 2 weeks of boarding when we were out of the country. We received daily communication and answers to our questions. He was wonderful with both dogs -- especially the new puppy. Highly recommend!”

“Pallvi and her family are fantastic! This is our second time leaving our two dogs with them and the experience continues to be great. If you or someone you know is looking for a family to look after your furry friends, my wife and I cannot recommend Pallvi and her family enough.”

“Glen took great care of our pup Jax while we were gone on a 10 day trip. The photos he sent gave us reassurance that Jax was enjoying his time and going on great walks out in the snow. Jax, who can be a little selective of his playmates, even seemed to get along with his pup Hope. We’d happily use Glen again for boarding.”

“Judy stayed with Piccolo (our 7 month old chihuahua) for 4 days while we were out of town. She sent us pictures regularly and kept us informed about how he was doing. He LOVED Judy and felt very comfortable with her the moment he walked into her house. Judy is very experienced with dogs and Went above and beyond our expectations. I would 100% recommend her. Thanks for the great service watching Piccolo!!!”

“I felt completely comfortable leaving my cat with Natalie, and she took great care of Niki. She was very responsive, provided updates, and made sure all of Niki's needs were met. It was clear that Niki was in good hands. I hope to have the opportunity to use Natalie again in the future!”

“Heather went above and beyond taking care of our cat. We had just moved and had to leave unexpectedly while we had work being completed on our home. Our cat was petrified. She stayed for 30+ minutes to make sure he was comfortable. She brought a licking pad, treats, cat bed and toys to help make him more comfortable. Heather provided detailed updates on how he was and she was very easy to communicate with. We had to add an extra visit or two and she was able to accommodate our changing schedule. I cannot say enough great things about Heather!”

“Vivian was great, great comms, flexible timings and everything was great when we were back. She even managed to make friends with one of our very shy cats. Thanks Vivian!”

“Barbara has looked after our 2 cats for numerous visits now and both Stormzy and Nala grew fond of her very quickly and always happy to see her when she came. The true testament of that is Barbara went above & beyond any normal visit when our Stormzy was not well & Barbara helped take her immediately to the vet and made sure we were connected at all times. We are so very grateful for this support and so thankful Barbara was able to handle this smoothly! Can’t recommend her highly enough for taking care of your pets!”

“Ashley did a wonderful job watching our cat, Bindi. We received messages twice a day from Ashley regarding her drop in visits and she provided details and pics for each visit. Our cat Bindi is extremely shy, and even though she hid, Ashley would let us know each day where Bindi was hiding. We will definitely hire Ashley again. Our experience with the Rover website is very favorable also.”

“Victoria took excellent care of my cat while I was away for a few days. She provided clear communication, prompt check-ins, and detailed statuses with pictures which gave me ease of mind while I was gone. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter. So thankful for her excellent service!”

“Would highly recommend working with Chelsay! Very responsive, reliable, caring, communicative, and friendly. Looking forward to having her watch our dog again! Thanks Chelsay!”

“Chrissy took care of our 2 kitties over Thanksgiving and was absolutely wonderful. Great communication and took great care to ensure our kitties had plenty of stimulation and attention! Will hope to hire her again!”

“10/10 stars!! Our kitties were so well taken care of and had the best time with her. Samantha is top notch—rolled with our changing plans, and took excellent care of our creatures. And all the pictures made us feel right there at home with them. Couldn’t be more grateful for her!”

About: Se habla español / すこしにほんごをしっています I’ve cared for dogs at every stage of life, from wild puppies to gentle seniors. With experience handling both small and large dogs, I know how to balance fun, structure, and patience to help every pup feel safe and happy. I own a high-energy Portuguese Water Dog and grew up with calm, funny pugs, so I’m comfortable adapting to all personalities, energy levels, and sizes. My schedule is flexible and I can work around most pup’s schedules and needs. I am unavailable on Tuesdays, but available the rest of the week! My motto is to always love and care for others as if it was my own, no matter the personality or need. They are like people: they need intentionality, care, attention, and love, and some of the ways I try to incorporate that into my regular care is by wiping their paws and mouth with dog safe wipes after a walk/outdoor time. My dog is like my son to me, and I want to offer the same kind of love and care to those that might need extra help with walks throughout the week.
“Dana was so wonderful with our kitty! It was our first time leaving him alone while we went out of town and we were a little nervous because he’s very shy around new people. By her second visit with him it was clear he was perfectly comfortable and so happy to see her. Dana sends many pictures and gives you thorough updates with each visit, so you know your baby is safe and happy. She cares very much about each animal she takes on, and you can tell! Highly recommend her!”

About: TLDR; I treat every pet like the main character. I lost my furbaby to kidney disease in July 2025 and it was absolutely life-shattering. I was so connected to her that she meant the world to me. While I'm not ready for another dog to fulfill my life, I'm ready to open my heart and home to care for your pet. I currently have 2 senior cats in my home. I’ve cared for family members’ dogs and cats over the years, from energetic puppies to calm senior pets. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, administering basic medications, enrichment activities, and giving an abundance of affection. Your furbaby gets my full attention and a warm, peaceful home environment. I’m patient, safety-focused, and great at picking up on a pet’s personality—whether they want playtime, snuggles, or a little space. I’ll keep you updated with photos and notes so you feel confident and connected while you’re away. If you think we'd be a good fit, let's chat! I have an open and flexible schedule, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m able to give pets attention, regular outdoor time, and consistent routines throughout the day. In my home, I focus on creating a calm, comfortable, and safe space. I stick closely to your furbaby's usual routines—feeding, walks, playtime, and rest—so they feel at ease during their stay. I keep a tidy environment with a securely fenced yard for safe outdoor time, and I make sure they always have fresh water, cozy spots to relax, and plenty of attention.
About: Wouldn't you rather have your dog in a dog-loving home every day instead of a commercial doggie daycare? With dog beds or couches instead of crates? I have lived with dogs most of my life and with cats for 35 years. I have fostered or rescued many animals. I can give personal attention to puppy "potty" training too! - found cat at side of road who had been shot with BBs. Took him to vet to have 33 BBs removed. Unfortunately he lost both eyes but was quickly adopted and is enjoying his life and even catching flies! - rescued little dog that was chasing a bike down a busy street. I was able to find her family and return her safely. - I found an injured bat and took him to Willowbrook for care. I love animals and I will take good care of yours! I am very comfortable with all types of animals. We spend a lot of time outdoors in our huge backyard, weather permitting. Play time is all day as I don't leave them alone but am always there to supervise. Because we also have cats, visiting dogs must be able to safely interact or ignore cats. Tiny dogs, very large dogs and everyone in between are welcome! I am available for weekly doggie daycare and boarding for my daycare clients. My schedule is very open and I am always with the dogs, supervising. To ensure their safety, they will never be left at home alone Your dogs will have the whole house to roam, just as my dogs do. They will have a fully fenced yard in which to run and beds or sofas or dog beds from which to choose for sleeping

“Sarah did a fantastic job with my two cats. We did 30 minute drop in visits and she was on-time and made sure to take the time to not just check food and water but to give the cats some playtime and attention. One of my cats required extra care and she handled that no problem. Would absolutely book with Sarah again!”

About: I’m a devoted cat mama! I have a sweet, clingy kitty of my own who’s very attached to me, so I completely understand how important it is to have someone loving and attentive with your cat while you’re away! I’ll treat your cat with the same affection and patience I give my own—whether that means playtime, cuddles, grooming, or just quiet companionship. I know how to read cat behavior and respect their boundaries while making them feel safe and loved.

“So happy I was able to connect with Joan to care for my cat, Lucy! As always, I was nervous to leave Lucy while on vacation but meeting Joan immediately put my mind at ease. “Both my pups had a great time. She is very good with my anxious pup as well. She communicated and kept us informed the entire stay. Most importantly the pups felt safe and comfortable with her.”

“Maria has been a LIFE SAVER for me. I work full time in Chicago and I needed someone who was able to take my dog M-F but I didn't want to bring my dog to an impersonal day care. That's when I found Maria. I really love that Oliver (my dog) is safe in Maria's home and also able to go to the dog park everyday. When I pick him up he is a very happy and tired dog! I could not have asked for a better situation and we consider Maria part of the family. She treats my dog as if he was her own and for that I am so thankful.”

About: My dog, Mozart, I've had him since he was a puppy. I volunteered in animal shelters for years, and also raised kittens by bottle-feeding. I've pet sitted for friends and family in the past and they were always happy with the amount of attention their pet received. I work from home, so I am available to take care of your furry friend and keep them company all day. I am dedicated to showing attention and taking care of all a pet's needs. I take my dog on 3 walks a day, the latter two being 1 hour or more in time. I feed him a mix of majority raw diet (cooked chicken, raw beef), and keep up on his medication that keeps his joints healthy and him protected from heartworm and tick-borne illnesses.

My husband and I live in a three bedroom house in Carol Stream, just outside Wheaton. We have a large yard with a 3-sided fence in which pets would be very safe with proper supervision. Pets would be welcome to lay and sleep wherever they are most comfortable - on our furniture, in one of our two beds, or in their own beds or crates. We are animal lovers and have had our own animals in our home. We have welcomed many a new pet into our home, so your pet would receive our love and care while staying at our home.

“Great job with Sammy ! We truly appreciated how you came to our rescue last minute when I was not able to work at home today. Sammy is a sweet, loving senior dog who is kind and gentle but needed some assistance, and you both did an amazing job being very caring for him and very eager and willing to help our senior sweetheart. So many other dog sitter's do not want to help senior dogs because it takes just a little extra effort, but you were very kind and willing to help him out. And we know he truly appreciated it. Thanks again, and we look forward to Sammy hopefully seeing you again soon. ???”

She went above and beyond and my dogs were very pleased. Great job V.”

About: Hi, I’m Fred, your local pack leader 🐕 My journey into canine care and training started during a difficult periods of my life. After suffering an injury in the summer of 2025, I spent several months in physical therapy with one goal in mind: being able to walk my dog, Ada, again. Throughout my recovery, Ada never left my side. She watched me struggle through daily exercises, accompanied me on potty breaks while I was still on crutches, and gave me a reason to keep pushing forward. As I slowly regained my mobility, we started taking short walks around the block. That's when I realized that even a small pull on the leash could put my recovery at risk. My focus quickly shifted from simply getting back on my feet to becoming a better dog trainer. What started as a few training sessions during our walks turned into a daily commitment. I taught Ada to walk calmly in a heel position, respond to a "slow" command for days when I needed to take things at an easier pace, and regularly check in with me throughout our walks. The biggest lesson I learned wasn't about commands or techniques; it was about communication. Dogs pay attention to far more than we realize. If I became frustrated, Ada noticed. If I stayed calm and consistent, she responded. I learned to focus on rewarding the behaviors I wanted rather than dwelling on mistakes. The more I worked on myself as a leader, the more successful our training became. Today, Ada and I are still learning together. The bond we've built through patience, trust, and consistency is unlike anything I've experienced with any other dog. She isn't just my best friend; she's the reason I discovered how rewarding it can be to help dogs and their owners build stronger relationships. At Freddy Set Go Canine Care, every dog I work with receives the same patience, attention, and commitment that I give to Ada. Whether you need reliable canine care, help with basic obedience, or support working through behavioral challenges, my goal is simple: to help you build a stronger relationship with your dog and enjoy life together. If my story resonates with you, I'd love the opportunity to learn more about you and your dog.
“It’s our first time having someone walk our 5 months old puppy, and Nicole was super nice, communicative and respectful to our puppy ( we had very bad experience with the dog care in Schaumburg). Nicole was above and beyond and our puppy was very happy with her, that’s everything we wanted.”

“Annika was great at communicating with us before the scheduled walk/play and throughout the day to let us know how our sweet pup was doing. We will surely ask her to help us again!”

About: I have been a dog whisperer since I was a child. I have always loved dogs, but after the loss of our beloved lab, do not currently have one of our own. My first dog, a black lab, beagle mix, arrived in my life when I was 10. Have routinely weekend dog sit for our 3 doggie cousins, all between 65 and 90 pounds. I retired a few years ago so I have lots of availability. I do take workout classes a few times a week, currently Monday and Wednesday mornings. I can provide loving affection to your special furry family member, play, throw balls and go for walks. I also have a house with a fenced in yard.

About: I have over four years of experience caring for dogs of neighbors, family, and other families in my town including walking, feeding, and providing companionship. I’m attentive to each pet’s unique needs and routines, and I take pride in being dependable, communicative, and gentle with every animal in my care. I have a genuine love for animals and enjoy caring for them! I’m currently a student at the University of Illinois with a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to pet care and I am home in Glen Ellyn for summers to do the same. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays at your home. I prioritize consistency and stick to the routine you have for your pet! I prioritize safety, trust, and respect when caring for pets in their own homes. During drop-in visits and walks, I follow all instructions closely, keep pets secure on a leash, and ensure doors and gates are properly locked. I treat every home with respect and provide attentive, reliable care so pets feel comfortable and safe.

About: I have always had animals and I have a genuine love for animals of all kinds. Spending time with pets doesn’t feel like a job to me — it’s something I truly enjoy. I’m naturally attentive, gentle, and patient, and I take the responsibility of caring for someone’s pet very seriously. My job is flexible so I have the time and availability to assist with whatever your needs are. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routines, and needs. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or shy and needing a calm presence, I adapt to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m reliable, organized, and committed to following your instructions closely so your pet’s routine stays consistent while you’re away. You can count on me to provide regular updates and photos, so you always feel connected and reassured. My goal is simple: to treat your pet with the same kindness, attention, and respect that I would want for my own. I would love the opportunity to earn your trust and care for your furry family member. I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of time to devote to your babies! My schedule allows me to fully devote myself to whatever instructions you leave, even if it's time consuming. I will love and enjoy every minute of interacting with and loving on your pet(s). When caring for pets in your home, I am respectful, responsible, and detail-oriented. I follow your pet’s routine exactly as instructed to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I make sure your home remains clean and secure, double-checking doors and gates each visit. I pay close attention to your pet’s behavior and well-being, and I communicate regularly with updates and photos so you always feel confident and informed. My goal is to provide safe, reliable care you can truly trust.
About: I’ve been dog and cat sitting since I was 10 for my neighbors! I’ve worked at a dog daycare as well as a veterinary clinic, so I have lots of experience with animals! I’m currently a college student doing classes online, and I would love to spend some of my extra time hanging out with your sweet furry friends! :) I am always thorough in my work and never careless. Animals are precious and should always be treated as such. I always personalize my care according to your wishes and instructions!
About: Growing up, I had two small dogs of my own who have moved on to puppy heaven. To fill the gap in my heart, I began watching my neighbors and cousins dogs both big and small. I have experience with shitzhus, chihuahuas, pitbulls, labs, akitas, dobermans, and more. I believe that dog behaviors are a product of their environment, I am dedicated to making your furbaby feel comfortable and relaxed while I take care of them. Since I don’t have a dog of my own quite yet, I have adopted three amazing cats! My three furbabies are my entire life. I am a self-proclaimed cat mind reader and can tell when your kitty wants to play or wants there own personal space. Additionally, I can read cat behaviors well as I identified a disease in my own cat - FIP. I cured my cat by daily injecting it with medication subcutaneously. I am grateful everyday he is healthy, happy, and alive. I would be comfortable administering medication to your furbaby, as I know how stressful it can be leaving them alone. I would love to get to know and love your kitties! Additionally, last but not least, I am a fish lover! I am a freshwater aquarium keeper and have experience maintaining 40+gallon tanks with live plants. I would be happy to take care of, feed, and even clean your fish tanks. I currently work remotely Monday-Friday from 9-5PM. I am available before or after, on weekends, or even throughout the days on my lunch breaks. I am flexible throughout the day. I treat my clients home’s as I would want someone to treat mine. I also understand that their pet is an equal homeowner and may take some time to adjust to me! I respect pets boundaries and can read their behaviors well so that they are the most comfortable and happy.

About: For over 25 years I have been fortunate enough to experience the joy of caring for my family's dog. In addition to dog ownership, I have provided walks and drop ins to family and friends with their own pets. My schedule is currently fairly open so I will have plenty of time to give your pet the attention they need while walking or dropping in for a visit. I care for client's pets as if they are my own. That's means I will ensure they are safe and cared for at all times during a walk or drop in visit.

“Yoda came home very content. By the pictures Amanda and Anton sent he looked like he was getting spoiled and was happy about it. They did a wonderful job taking care of Yoda”

“Deb took such great care of Oliver! Ollie stayed in a loving home well suited for dogs. He had a great enclosed yard to play in, good care and a happy family. He was right at home with Deb. She also sent us great photos of him while we were away and sent us updates routinely. We highly recommend Deb! I am sure Oliver will be back.”

“Kelly and Tariq were awesome! I received regular updates which put me at ease since this was the longest I had left my pup with anyone. Definitely will book with them again.”

“Absolutely without a doubt one of the best cat sitters we have EVER had. Amberley and her husband Matt went above and beyond to slowly introduce my cats to their new surroundings - to the point where they were sleeping with the cats in a separate room to ensure their comfort and care. They went above and beyond a normal “sitter” service. I would 100% recommend them without hesitation. Communication, pictures, etc. were all consistent, prompt and reassuring. Thank you Amberley and Matt!?”
“Penny was amazing! I left my pup, Ginger, with her for 2 weeks while we were out of country. Penny sent pictures of Ginger and made sure she had plenty of activity. I even noticed that Ginger had lost a few pounds that she needed to lose! I would highly recommend Penny!”

“Thank you for caring for Riley and Clover so we could go enjoy the Solar Eclipse! We appreciated the updates and photos of our pups enjoying their time with you. Thanks again!”

“Kim took awesome care of Doodle. This was his first time staying with anyone but family. He was well cared for. Kim relieved my fears he had relaxed and was settling in there.”

“Christine did an amazing job taking care of my dog. She was very communicative throughout the entire process. From reaching out in the beginning to ask her availability, to picking him up a few days later, she was great about responding to texts very promptly but would also send lots of updates throughout my time away from him. It was great to see in pictures and videos that he was having a good time and being well taken care of. I would happily ask Christine again to take care of my dog and recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust to watch their pets”

“Michael took care of my dog really well! She seemed really happy to be there and got alone well with the dogs. The responses were fast and updated me on my dog. I will book again when needed!”

“Esha & Vineeth hosted our lab for spring break and she seemed very comfortable! They shared lots of updates throughout the week and were easy to coordinate plans! Thank you again!”
