“Glen was available very last minute to walk our pup. He responded quickly to messages, came at the right time, and sent a photo and an update after the walk. I’d recommend Glen and would book again!”

“Dana is now my go to dog Walker! My dog Duke loves her and is always excited to see her. She responds very promptly and gives many great updates and pictures on their walks. Would definitely recommend her!”

“Bonnie provided the most genuine and compassionate care while I was out of town. From the very start, I felt very comfortable w/ her caring for my dog and she was excellent communicating with me throughout the entire time.”

“Vivian has been our dog walker for the past couple months and has been getting along well with our dog Maxx. She communicates well and responds promptly. Maxx seems to really enjoy his walks with her by the cute pictures we get from the walk. My dog Maxx can easily be scared and doesn't always like to stay out long, but Maxx seems very comfortable with Vivian since he walks around a lot and stays out long. You can tell she works well with dogs especially with her experience taking care of her own dogs. I love the rover cards we get and will definitely use Vivian again in the future. I highly recommend if you need a dog walker!”

“It’s our first time having someone walk our 5 months old puppy, and Nicole was super nice, communicative and respectful to our puppy ( we had very bad experience with the dog care in Schaumburg). Nicole was above and beyond and our puppy was very happy with her, that’s everything we wanted.”

About: I have been an animal lover since I was a child and for many years, had aspirations to become a veterinarian. Although I have deferred from pursuing that occupation, my love for dogs and other animals have not. I personally have a 5 year old mini golden doodle who I love immensely, and have enjoyed teaching her all sorts of tricks (whisper, speak, high five, etc) and taking her out on walks every day. Professionally, for the past 4 years I have annually pet sit a family friends two doggies (one a senior dog and one a mature adult) for a week straight. I stayed at their house every night, fed both the dogs morning and evening, took them on walks, and made sure I was at the house at least half of the day since one of the dogs had severe anxiety. Taking care of your pet takes a lot of dedication, intentionality, love, and patience and I promise to provide that to your furry friend! I am a graduate student getting my masters in occupational therapy at Elmhurst University. For the time being, I am available most times on Tuesdays and Thursdays, especially after noon. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, most of my time available will be after 4pm. Weekends are hit or miss depending if I am out of town, usually I will be more free in the mornings but I will solidify my schedule a week in advance! Whether it is a quick drop in or 30 minute walk, I will make sure I give as much love and quality time to your pup! For drop in visits, I will play with your dog, feed them/fill up their water bowl, take them outside to get some fresh air and use the bathroom, and if needed take them on a walk! I love dogs and don’t find doing anything revolving around them a chore, being around them makes me just as happy as it makes them!
“Barbara is amazing for your dogs, you can't go wrong using her! I'm so thankful to have found her for our unique situation, it will work perfectly for our furbabies! Thanks so much Barbara!”

About: Wouldn't you rather have your dog in a dog-loving home every day instead of a commercial doggie daycare? With dog beds or couches instead of crates? I have lived with dogs most of my life and with cats for 35 years. I have fostered or rescued many animals. I can give personal attention to puppy "potty" training too! - found cat at side of road who had been shot with BBs. Took him to vet to have 33 BBs removed. Unfortunately he lost both eyes but was quickly adopted and is enjoying his life and even catching flies! - rescued little dog that was chasing a bike down a busy street. I was able to find her family and return her safely. - I found an injured bat and took him to Willowbrook for care. I love animals and I will take good care of yours! I am very comfortable with all types of animals. We spend a lot of time outdoors in our huge backyard, weather permitting. Play time is all day as I don't leave them alone but am always there to supervise. Because we also have cats, visiting dogs must be able to safely interact or ignore cats. Tiny dogs, very large dogs and everyone in between are welcome! I am available for weekly doggie daycare or boarding. My schedule is very open and I am always with the dogs, supervising. To ensure their safety, they will never be left at home alone Your dogs will have the whole house to roam, just as my dogs do. They will have a fully fenced yard in which to run and beds or sofas or dog beds from which to choose for sleeping
“Marta was amazing with my puppy Alaska! I messaged her an hour before I needed a dog walker and she replied very quickly and was able to come walk Alaska. Alaska came back tired from a good walk and a trip to the dog park. I also received pictures from their time together which I loved! 10/10 recommend Marta!”

About: I am an animal lover through and through. I dog-sat all throughout high school and college, and I absolutely loved it. I love staying active with dogs by taking them on long walks and playing fetch. My favorite part is petting and snuggling with them. Your dog will love having me come over and be with them. I work a seasonal job at the mall, so my schedule during the week is pretty open. I am usually less available on the weekends. I am moving to Spain in January, so unfortunately, I will NOT be available to take anything after New Year’s Eve. I know having a new person in your home can be stressful for your pet, but this is my favorite part. I love taking the time to sit with pets, so they become more comfortable. This is very important to gain their trust and make them feel safe. Once they feel more relaxed, we will connect by playing, walking, and having fun!
“Annika was great at communicating with us before the scheduled walk/play and throughout the day to let us know how our sweet pup was doing. We will surely ask her to help us again!”

“We love Olivia! We're new to dog parenting and she has been super helpful. She's always on time and the dog LOVES her. Our schedule at first was all over the place, but Olivia handled us like a dream and we're finally on our rhythm. We're so thankful for her!”

About: We have been around dogs our entire lives and have always felt a deep connection with animals. From fostering and training, to caring for puppies, adult, and senior dogs; it has been a labor of love to nurture and nurture them through their ages, stages, and situations. From golden retrievers, newfoundlands, labradors, pitbulls, dachshunds, border collies, cockapoos, and many other breeds, we've experienced a vast array of shapes, sizes and personalities in our home. Currently, our fur family members are Boulder, our 5 year old Newfoundland boy, and Brick, our 5 month labrador boy. Both of them love other dogs and are socialized and friendly with people as well. Abbie - I am currently working part-time at a restaurant that is very flexible with my hours. I just moved back to the area and do not have too many extracurriculars at this time. Also, I truly enjoy staying busy so would love to accomodate you and your pet's needs any way I can. Karen - My schedule is flexible, as I work at home. Abbie and I rotate our "out of the house" time as best possible to ensure the pups have proper supervision and care. Our dogs have plenty access to the "great outdoors," as I spend the bulk of my days in their continual presence, so their needs are met quickly. We are dog lovers, and safety and love are our priority. We do have two dogs of our own. They are well socialized, and they fully enjoy the company of other dogs. Ideally we like to integrate our guest pups into our little 2 pack, to ensure the most fun and relaxed atmosphere for all. We do have crates available if nap time/down time away from the others is needed. Our 5 year old Newfoundland, Boulder, is a gentle giant, who is extraordinarily patient and friendly. Our 5 month old yellow lab, Brick, is a sweetheart, and still a growing puppy. He has lots of energy and is a quick learner, eager to please, and up for lots of play. He does like his naps, as does Boulder, so we do have a healthy ebb and flow to the rhythms of life here. We have a 4 foot fence around our backyard with about half an acre of land to run around in. We also have a very safe neighborhood that only has one entrance, so there are few cars. With over a mile of sidewalks, there are plenty of sniffing opportunities when we are out on our walks. Since we do have a current puppy in our home, our house is puppy proof. Our pantry door stays shut 24/7, there are no poisonous plants nearby, all cords and wires are tucked away, and no shoes are left out. If you would rather have us care for your dog in your home, we are very conscientious, of the routines and guidelines you set out for us.
About: I grew up in a family of animal lovers—cats, dogs, birds, even pet cows, turtles, chickens, hermit crabs, and more! Pets have always been family to us, and they were deeply loved and cared for. I’ve been caring for animals my whole life and still do occasional pet sitting. Now, I’m excited to offer my care through Rover! I’ll go any length to keep your pets happy—whether that means giving baths, going on long walks, or showering them with love and plenty of pets. I’d love to treat your pets like the family they are—because they deserve the very best. I’m a part-time college student who also works and babysits, so pet sitting is the perfect flexible gig for me! My schedule changes week to week, but I’m available for morning, afternoon, or evening visits most days, and I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine. I can do drop-ins, walks, feedings, baths, playtime, and give your pets all the love and attention they deserve. Weekends and some overnights are also available with notice—just reach out, and I’ll do my best to fit your needs! When caring for your pet, I’ll treat them like one of my own—with patience, love, and attention to their unique needs. I’ll stick to their routine as closely as possible, whether that means feeding at specific times, going for walks, cleaning up after them, or just giving them extra cuddles and playtime. I make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. My goal is to give your pet not just care, but genuine companionship and kindness every visit.
About: Growing up, I had two small dogs of my own who have moved on to puppy heaven. To fill the gap in my heart, I began watching my neighbors and cousins dogs both big and small. I have experience with shitzhus, chihuahuas, pitbulls, labs, akitas, dobermans, and more. I believe that dog behaviors are a product of their environment, I am dedicated to making your furbaby feel comfortable and relaxed while I take care of them. Since I don’t have a dog of my own quite yet, I have adopted three amazing cats! My three furbabies are my entire life. I am a self-proclaimed cat mind reader and can tell when your kitty wants to play or wants there own personal space. Additionally, I can read cat behaviors well as I identified a disease in my own cat - FIP. I cured my cat by daily injecting it with medication subcutaneously. I am grateful everyday he is healthy, happy, and alive. I would be comfortable administering medication to your furbaby, as I know how stressful it can be leaving them alone. I would love to get to know and love your kitties! Additionally, last but not least, I am a fish lover! I am a freshwater aquarium keeper and have experience maintaining 40+gallon tanks with live plants. I would be happy to take care of, feed, and even clean your fish tanks. I currently work remotely Monday-Friday from 9-5PM. I am available before or after, on weekends, or even throughout the days on my lunch breaks. I am flexible throughout the day. I treat my clients home’s as I would want someone to treat mine. I also understand that their pet is an equal homeowner and may take some time to adjust to me! I respect pets boundaries and can read their behaviors well so that they are the most comfortable and happy.

I’m available for overnight stays as well! I follow every requests clients have for their pet! Get the dogs energy out so they can fall right to sleep and recharge for another fun day! About: My dog, Mozart, I've had him since he was a puppy. I volunteered in animal shelters for years, and also raised kittens by bottle-feeding. I've pet sitted for friends and family in the past and they were always happy with the amount of attention their pet received. I work from home, so I am available to take care of your furry friend and keep them company all day. I am dedicated to showing attention and taking care of all a pet's needs. I take my dog on 3 walks a day, the latter two being 1 hour or more in time. I feed him a mix of majority raw diet (cooked chicken, raw beef), and keep up on his medication that keeps his joints healthy and him protected from heartworm and tick-borne illnesses.

She was so professional and kind and knowledgeable when she picked up my little guy. There was a mixup with the pictures and I’m not gonna lie. I got frustrated, but when she came back with my dog, we were able to clarify everything she was again, professional, and kind When we were working things out. I would definitely recommend her and I will definitely use her again!

We would give six stars if we could! Mia was so attentive to our golden retriever while we were gone. She went above and beyond to make sure our dog Yanny was well cared for while we were gone. We had been looking for someone to care for Yanny so we could be gone for a day or a few days, we will definitely be booking Mia again.
