Sydney was fantastic! And it makes going away so much easier knowing that Mia is in good hands with someone who meets Mia as she is and is patient as Mia takes her time to warm up

Crissy has been helping us for many weeks now and we love her! Our three dogs can be a handful, but I always know they are in good hands with Crissy. I know this is like my third review. But seriously- if youre looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and with the perfect calming energy for your dogs- Crissy is the best choice.

About: Se habla español / すこしにほんごをしっています I’ve cared for dogs at every stage of life, from wild puppies to gentle seniors. With experience handling both small and large dogs, I know how to balance fun, structure, and patience to help every pup feel safe and happy. I own a high-energy Portuguese Water Dog and grew up with calm, funny pugs, so I’m comfortable adapting to all personalities, energy levels, and sizes. My schedule is flexible and I can work around most pup’s schedules and needs. I am unavailable on Tuesdays, but available the rest of the week! My motto is to always love and care for others as if it was my own, no matter the personality or need. They are like people: they need intentionality, care, attention, and love, and some of the ways I try to incorporate that into my regular care is by wiping their paws and mouth with dog safe wipes after a walk/outdoor time. My dog is like my son to me, and I want to offer the same kind of love and care to those that might need extra help with walks throughout the week.

I contacted Victoria without much.notice hoping to get somebody to walk my dog 2 times on a day where I was going to be gone for at least 12 hours. She had never met me or my dogs but took on the task. She was.able.to get my dogs out, hung out with them a bit in my yard, and for their second afternoon session she took them for a wooded hike and to a pet store for treats. She went above and beyond and my dogs were very pleased. Great job V.

About: Lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for a variety of pets. Have owned dogs, fostered rescues, and cared for fish and salamanders—so understand that every pet is unique and deserves attentive, loving care. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, playtime, or just some comforting company, will treat your pets like family. You can count on us to keep your pets happy, healthy, and safe while you’re away! I work from home along with my wife Kerry. Dogs will be taken out for walks, and we are near several parks. If dogs are sociable, there is a dog park they can be taken to nearby. Pets will be let outside on a leash and supervised. Can crate if necessary, if this is a comfort to the animal. Sections of the house are blocked off to keep them in controlled areas.

About: I love dogs! I enjoy walking dogs and meeting new dogs. They are such sweet animals and I love to be able to help them see and explore the world on walks. I take care of a 14 year old beagle and go on frequent walks with him. I can walk dogs during my lunch break on weekdays. I can also come in the late afternoon as well to walk your dog. Let me know what you need and I can help accommodate your schedule! I have a beagle that I adore and take him on 3 walks a day. I love walking dogs and meeting new dogs at the dog parks that I visit. I also love taking care of friends dogs and would love to take care of your dog as well!

Vivian has been our dog walker for the past couple months and has been getting along well with our dog Maxx. She communicates well and responds promptly. Maxx seems to really enjoy his walks with her by the cute pictures we get from the walk. My dog Maxx can easily be scared and doesn't always like to stay out long, but Maxx seems very comfortable with Vivian since he walks around a lot and stays out long. You can tell she works well with dogs especially with her experience taking care of her own dogs. I love the rover cards we get and will definitely use Vivian again in the future. I highly recommend if you need a dog walker!

About: I grew up in a big family , we always had pets from dogs-hamsters! And we took care as if they were part of the family . I am compassionate, and I would love your animals and care for them and treat them with kindness as if they were family. As a mom of 5 older kids, I’ve gotten really good at balancing routines and staying organized. Now that they’re more independent, I have lots of free time in my day to dedicate to caring for pets, giving them attention, exercise, and a reliable schedule. I did have 3 cats and 1 dog at one time before. They still are part of the family they live with family members and I visit them time to time and they come to my house as well. I love walking dogs and taking care of animals that are only comfortable in your home. I am a trust worthy person when it comes to someone trusting me in their home. Clients should know that their home and their pet are well taken care of and respected.

About: Hi, I’m Fred, your local pack leader 🐕   My journey into canine care and training started during a difficult periods of my life. After suffering an injury in the summer of 2025, I spent several months in physical therapy with one goal in mind: being able to walk my dog, Ada, again.    Throughout my recovery, Ada never left my side. She watched me struggle through daily exercises, accompanied me on potty breaks while I was still on crutches, and gave me a reason to keep pushing forward. As I slowly regained my mobility, we started taking short walks around the block. That's when I realized that even a small pull on the leash could put my recovery at risk. My focus quickly shifted from simply getting back on my feet to becoming a better dog trainer.   What started as a few training sessions during our walks turned into a daily commitment. I taught Ada to walk calmly in a heel position, respond to a "slow" command for days when I needed to take things at an easier pace, and regularly check in with me throughout our walks.   The biggest lesson I learned wasn't about commands or techniques; it was about communication. Dogs pay attention to far more than we realize. If I became frustrated, Ada noticed. If I stayed calm and consistent, she responded. I learned to focus on rewarding the behaviors I wanted rather than dwelling on mistakes. The more I worked on myself as a leader, the more successful our training became.   Today, Ada and I are still learning together. The bond we've built through patience, trust, and consistency is unlike anything I've experienced with any other dog. She isn't just my best friend; she's the reason I discovered how rewarding it can be to help dogs and their owners build stronger relationships.   At Freddy Set Go Canine Care, every dog I work with receives the same patience, attention, and commitment that I give to Ada. Whether you need reliable canine care, help with basic obedience, or support working through behavioral challenges, my goal is simple: to help you build a stronger relationship with your dog and enjoy life together.   If my story resonates with you, I'd love the opportunity to learn more about you and your dog. The absolute BEST dog walker we've ever had!!! I have two crazy 12 year old Husky mixes with very different needs. One is high-energy, loves to run, get into trouble and chase anything with fur or feathers. The other is arthritic, vocal and very stubborn. Sarah has been able to keep them properly exercised, entertained and above all SAFE for two years :) We are so lucky to have found her--she is an absolute GEM! I would recommend her in a heartbeat, but after seeing the 90+ glowing reviews, she doesn't need it.

Max had a wonderful walk with Rebeca. She was even kind enough to help with his bootie during his walk. I don’t tighten it correct and it fell off. But she got it back on. I truly appreciate the pictures provided as well. Max seemed to be very comfortable with her. We will be booking Rebeca again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
