About: Se habla español / すこしにほんごをしっています I’ve cared for dogs at every stage of life, from wild puppies to gentle seniors. With experience handling both small and large dogs, I know how to balance fun, structure, and patience to help every pup feel safe and happy. I own a high-energy Portuguese Water Dog and grew up with calm, funny pugs, so I’m comfortable adapting to all personalities, energy levels, and sizes. My schedule is flexible and I can work around most pup’s schedules and needs. I am unavailable on Tuesdays, but available the rest of the week! My motto is to always love and care for others as if it was my own, no matter the personality or need. They are like people: they need intentionality, care, attention, and love, and some of the ways I try to incorporate that into my regular care is by wiping their paws and mouth with dog safe wipes after a walk/outdoor time. My dog is like my son to me, and I want to offer the same kind of love and care to those that might need extra help with walks throughout the week.

Crissy has been helping us for many weeks now and we love her! Our three dogs can be a handful, but I always know they are in good hands with Crissy. I know this is like my third review. But seriously- if youre looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and with the perfect calming energy for your dogs- Crissy is the best choice.

Vivian has been our dog walker for the past couple months and has been getting along well with our dog Maxx. She communicates well and responds promptly. Maxx seems to really enjoy his walks with her by the cute pictures we get from the walk. My dog Maxx can easily be scared and doesn't always like to stay out long, but Maxx seems very comfortable with Vivian since he walks around a lot and stays out long. You can tell she works well with dogs especially with her experience taking care of her own dogs. I love the rover cards we get and will definitely use Vivian again in the future. I highly recommend if you need a dog walker!

About: I have been a dog whisperer since I was a child. I have always loved dogs, but after the loss of our beloved lab, do not currently have one of our own. My first dog, a black lab, beagle mix, arrived in my life when I was 10. Have routinely weekend dog sit for our 3 doggie cousins, all between 65 and 90 pounds. I retired a few years ago so I have lots of availability. I do take workout classes a few times a week, currently Monday and Wednesday mornings. I can provide loving affection to your special furry family member, play, throw balls and go for walks. I also have a house with a fenced in yard.

About: I trained my German Shepherd, Dakota, and taught him all 25 of the tricks that he knows! I have trained and lived with that 80lb pup with behavioral issues, so I am confident even with the biggest, craziest dogs! I have a soft spot for big dogs because of Dakota, but I also grew up with 3 Chihuahua mixes and a Border Collie which cemented my love for dogs of all sizes and temperaments! During the school year, I have college classes Monday through Thursday every week, but they are spread out if I needed to let any dogs out or take them for brisk walks in between! On the weekends, I don’t ever have a strict schedule. In the summer, my availability varies moreso by week! I let the animals warm up to me first before petting, picking up, or feeding, as to keep them as comfortable as possible. I love playing with cats and dogs indoors or outdoors. I have lived in Wheaton for my entire life, so I know the Wheaton area and all of its surrounding towns very well so I can take pets on longer or shorter walks as need be!

About: I’m a reliable, caring pet sitter who genuinely loves both dogs and cats! I have experience with playful puppies and kittens as well as sweet senior pets, and I’m happy to give extra time and care when needed. I will always stick to your routines, pay close attention to the details (feeding, meds, walks, and playtime), and make sure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away. You’ll get updates and as many cute photos as you would like! You never have to worry — your pet will be treated like part of my own family! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I plan my schedule around feeding times, walks, playtime, and check-ins so each pet gets consistent attention and care. I focus on creating a calm, safe, and trustworthy environment for every pet. I carefully follow owner instructions, keep pets supervised, and make sure their space is clean and secure. In a client’s home, I respect their routines and keep doors and gates closed, and food stored safely. I monitor pets for any changes in behavior or health, and communicate updates regularly so owners feel confident and informed about their pet’s care.

About: Wouldn't you rather have your dog in a dog-loving home every day instead of a commercial doggie daycare? With dog beds or couches instead of crates? I have lived with dogs most of my life and with cats for 35 years. I have fostered or rescued many animals. I can give personal attention to puppy "potty" training too! - found cat at side of road who had been shot with BBs. Took him to vet to have 33 BBs removed. Unfortunately he lost both eyes but was quickly adopted and is enjoying his life and even catching flies! - rescued little dog that was chasing a bike down a busy street. I was able to find her family and return her safely. - I found an injured bat and took him to Willowbrook for care. I love animals and I will take good care of yours! I am very comfortable with all types of animals. We spend a lot of time outdoors in our huge backyard, weather permitting. Play time is all day as I don't leave them alone but am always there to supervise. Because we also have cats, visiting dogs must be able to safely interact or ignore cats. Tiny dogs, very large dogs and everyone in between are welcome! I am available for weekly doggie daycare and boarding for my daycare clients. My schedule is very open and I am always with the dogs, supervising. To ensure their safety, they will never be left at home alone Your dogs will have the whole house to roam, just as my dogs do. They will have a fully fenced yard in which to run and beds or sofas or dog beds from which to choose for sleeping

About: I grew up in a big family , we always had pets from dogs-hamsters! And we took care as if they were part of the family . I am compassionate, and I would love your animals and care for them and treat them with kindness as if they were family. As a mom of 5 older kids, I’ve gotten really good at balancing routines and staying organized. Now that they’re more independent, I have lots of free time in my day to dedicate to caring for pets, giving them attention, exercise, and a reliable schedule. I did have 3 cats and 1 dog at one time before. They still are part of the family they live with family members and I visit them time to time and they come to my house as well. I love walking dogs and taking care of animals that are only comfortable in your home. I am a trust worthy person when it comes to someone trusting me in their home. Clients should know that their home and their pet are well taken care of and respected.

The absolute BEST dog walker we've ever had!!! I have two crazy 12 year old Husky mixes with very different needs. One is high-energy, loves to run, get into trouble and chase anything with fur or feathers. The other is arthritic, vocal and very stubborn. Sarah has been able to keep them properly exercised, entertained and above all SAFE for two years :) We are so lucky to have found her--she is an absolute GEM! I would recommend her in a heartbeat, but after seeing the 90+ glowing reviews, she doesn't need it.

About: Hi, I’m Fred, your local pack leader 🐕   My journey into canine care and training started during a difficult periods of my life. After suffering an injury in the summer of 2025, I spent several months in physical therapy with one goal in mind: being able to walk my dog, Ada, again.    Throughout my recovery, Ada never left my side. She watched me struggle through daily exercises, accompanied me on potty breaks while I was still on crutches, and gave me a reason to keep pushing forward. As I slowly regained my mobility, we started taking short walks around the block. That's when I realized that even a small pull on the leash could put my recovery at risk. My focus quickly shifted from simply getting back on my feet to becoming a better dog trainer.   What started as a few training sessions during our walks turned into a daily commitment. I taught Ada to walk calmly in a heel position, respond to a "slow" command for days when I needed to take things at an easier pace, and regularly check in with me throughout our walks.   The biggest lesson I learned wasn't about commands or techniques; it was about communication. Dogs pay attention to far more than we realize. If I became frustrated, Ada noticed. If I stayed calm and consistent, she responded. I learned to focus on rewarding the behaviors I wanted rather than dwelling on mistakes. The more I worked on myself as a leader, the more successful our training became.   Today, Ada and I are still learning together. The bond we've built through patience, trust, and consistency is unlike anything I've experienced with any other dog. She isn't just my best friend; she's the reason I discovered how rewarding it can be to help dogs and their owners build stronger relationships.   At Freddy Set Go Canine Care, every dog I work with receives the same patience, attention, and commitment that I give to Ada. Whether you need reliable canine care, help with basic obedience, or support working through behavioral challenges, my goal is simple: to help you build a stronger relationship with your dog and enjoy life together.   If my story resonates with you, I'd love the opportunity to learn more about you and your dog. • 91% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
