Hello, my name is Sarah W and I am a Professional Pet Sitter. Pet sitting and dogwalking has been my full-time job for over 8 years. I have my own insurance through Pet Sitter's Associates and am a proud member of Pet Sitters International. I love pets and also take my job very seriously. I communicate a lot and make sure you and the pets feel safe with me. I am respectful to every home I am in and try to leave it in the same or better condition when I leave. I have enjoyed working for Rover, and also Wag!, since September 2019. Prior to that I worked for Sassypaws, a pet care company in the Oak Park area, for two years. While with them I walked up to 9 dogs daily, and cared for some incredible cats. Along with dogwalking, I have a background working with children, teens, and adults with special needs. I graduated with a degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2012. I have worked for SEASPAR, Southeast Association of Special Parks and Recreation, as a Program Assistant and a Special Olympics coach. I have experience walking puppies, older dogs, multiple dogs, and doing cat care. I am a passionate animal lover that loves my family, work and rock-climbing. I respect every pet, and every home I am in. I know each pet has a routine and I try to stick to that as best I can. I understand that you are your pets best friend and spokesperson. YOU are the expert. I know a lot but will never assume I know more than you about your pet. I will always do my best to follow the schedule you have established for your pet/pets.

Sarah did a great job taking care of our two cats. She was very thorough about cleaning the litter and ensuring that the cats got attention while she was visiting.
Sarah took care of our kitties on short notice over a holiday weekend. She is kind, reliable and communicative. She took great care of our 2 kitties while we were gone. Highly recommend!
We have booked with Sarah several times and she’s always amazing with my two cats. Litter boxes were clean, plenty of water and food. And lots of play time and cuddle time!

Schedule
I have regular clients throughout the day but can dogsit overnight when available. My base overnight includes 10-12hour overnight plus one extra visit during the day. If I am able to I will gladly spend more time with your pets but this is what is guaranteed. You are always welcome to book a second day-time visit with me. I do not do 24hour continuous care.
