About: I have up to a eight years of experience taking care of animals. The most known being cats, dogs, birds, and some farmlife. I also have experience in grooming regarding bathing dogs and cats. This is something I am currently working toward furthering my career in. I am currently unemployed, although I am working on getting a job. I care for two cats at home full time as well as the occasional care of my roommate's pet skink. I have a 7 year old and an 8 month old who is sometimes a full-time job himself. I currently live in an apartment so I do not offer care at my home due to my lease not allowing it. However, within the home of my client I try to keep a common eye on the animals, making sure they are fed, have water, and if required the litterbox/bathroom is done whenever they need it.
About: Hi! I’m Karilyn! Dogs have always been important members of my family. I have experience managing daily pet care, safety, and offering attention. I am most experienced with larger dog breeds, but am familiar with breeds of all sizes and shapes. I prefer to not be out after dark, but am pretty flexible walk-by-walk. Otherwise my availability is as marked. If we’ve established a good relationship, I’m happy to be flexible! On walks, safety is my number one priority. This means secure leashes, alertness to both the environment and the individual dog. This also means catering to sensitivities and preferences of the owner AND the dog. About: I have a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Illinois. My education helped build a foundation and understanding of animal welfare, behavior, nutrition, and safe animal handling. I have over two years of professional experience training dogs in basic on-leash obedience, including heel, sit, stay, place, recall, and other foundational commands. I was trained by master trainer Joel Slaven, who has trained animals for movies, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, and worked extensively alongside Jack Hanna. In addition to dog training, I have worked as a Kennel Technician, where I helped care for up to 50 dogs at a time. My responsibilities included feeding, administering oral and subcutaneous medications, and providing daily exercise through walks and free running in a large pasture. This experience gave me the opportunity to work with a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I also have experience working at a dog daycare, where I supervised playgroups of 25 or more dogs and learned how to manage different personalities and energy levels in a group setting. Outside of my professional experience, I own a two-year-old English Bulldog. Her stubborn personality and high energy have taught me a great deal about patience, consistency, and adapting my approach to each individual dog. Overall, my experience has strengthened my passion for working with dogs and my commitment to providing them with patient, knowledgeable, and compassionate care. I have an open and flexible schedule, which allows me to provide dog walks/or home visits in the early morning, throughout the day and into the evening. About: I have had dogs my whole life. I have had multiple rescue dogs from puppies to older dogs. I have taken care of family member dogs. I am recently retired from a career in medical imaging. I have a PhD in Physics and have worked in hospitals including patient care. I have always loved dogs and seem to have a special bond with them. About: Hi! I am a 19 year old lifelong dog owner! Over the course of my life I have owned and taken care of around 20 dogs and 2 cats. Since I have taken care of so many different dogs I have experience with a very wide range of breeds and ages! I have had many dogs from puppies all the way into their senior years. These breeds of dogs consist of German Shepherd, Belgian Malinois, Pit Bull, Jack Russel, Chihuahua, Shihtzu, Corgi, Lab mixes, Bernese Mountain dogs and various mutt mixes. I also have around 2 years of experience working at Pet Supplies Plus and caring for the in-store fostered cats daily as well as the small animals and birds. I have a wide range of experience with differently tempered cats because of this and the small animals I took care of consisted of Syrian hamsters, dwarf hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, parakeets, and cockatiels! I also have a lot of knowledge of pet care products to assist you with your pets specific needs! I am currently in college majoring in photography! Thankfully my classes are all evening classes that start at 6pm, Tuesday-Thursday (I am unavailable fridays) so I will have from around 9:30 AM until 5:30 PM daily to care for your companions! I currently have three dogs, one being a Belgian Malinois, one a German Shepherd and the third a Pitbull mutt mix. I also have a fenced in backyard that they play in daily! I am absolutely experienced in the different energy levels and care that dogs may need!
About: We have been around dogs our entire lives and have always felt a deep connection with animals. From fostering and training, to caring for puppies, adult, and senior dogs; it has been a labor of love to nurture and nurture them through their ages, stages, and situations. From golden retrievers, newfoundlands, labradors, pitbulls, dachshunds, border collies, cockapoos, and many other breeds, we've experienced a vast array of shapes, sizes and personalities in our home. Currently, our fur family members are Boulder, our 5 year old Newfoundland boy, and Brick, our 5 month labrador boy. Both of them love other dogs and are socialized and friendly with people as well. Abbie - I am currently working part-time at a restaurant that is very flexible with my hours. I just moved back to the area and do not have too many extracurriculars at this time. Also, I truly enjoy staying busy so would love to accomodate you and your pet's needs any way I can. Karen - My schedule is flexible, as I work at home. Abbie and I rotate our "out of the house" time as best possible to ensure the pups have proper supervision and care. Our dogs have plenty access to the "great outdoors," as I spend the bulk of my days in their continual presence, so their needs are met quickly. We are dog lovers, and safety and love are our priority. We do have two dogs of our own. They are well socialized, and they fully enjoy the company of other dogs. Ideally we like to integrate our guest pups into our little 2 pack, to ensure the most fun and relaxed atmosphere for all. We do have crates available if nap time/down time away from the others is needed. Our 5 year old Newfoundland, Boulder, is a gentle giant, who is extraordinarily patient and friendly. Our 5 month old yellow lab, Brick, is a sweetheart, and still a growing puppy. He has lots of energy and is a quick learner, eager to please, and up for lots of play. He does like his naps, as does Boulder, so we do have a healthy ebb and flow to the rhythms of life here. We have a 4 foot fence around our backyard with about half an acre of land to run around in. We also have a very safe neighborhood that only has one entrance, so there are few cars. With over a mile of sidewalks, there are plenty of sniffing opportunities when we are out on our walks. Since we do have a current puppy in our home, our house is puppy proof. Our pantry door stays shut 24/7, there are no poisonous plants nearby,all cords and wires are tucked away, and no shoes are left out. If you would rather have us care for your dog in your home, we are very conscientious, of the routines and guidelines you set out for us.

About: My wife, son and I have taken care of pets our entire lives. Currently, we have only one elderly cat with special medical needs. Recently retired, we would love to adopt a dog but our frequent travel (to visit grandchildren) makes that a challenge. That travel helps us understand the stress and anxiety of leaving a pet in the care of others. We enjoy walking and playing with dogs (and cats!) and enjoy being in our yard, which opens to a field in the back, perfect for fetch. We will fill the day with a lot of activity and attention in a safe and secure environment. We are home full time and will have plenty of opportunity for walks, play time and potty breaks. During the school year, but my wife and I are home... and in summer months, our young-adult son will help as well. We have a spacious yard but it is not fenced so we would keep your dog on a long leash while outside. At night, we can easily crate, depending on the pet-parents preferences.
