Everything from initial contact with Justine, to picking up my pup later than expected after a flight delay of three hours, went very smoothly. She sent pictures to me while I was away…gave morning medication, and stayed in touch throughout the time I was gone. KC will definitely go back the next time mom needs to leave town. 😊🐶. She created a safe and cozy space where our pup could be secure and not be crated all day, and still be able to play and interact with her kiddos and other pups. Our pup got a lot of love and attention, I was afraid he wasn't going to want to come home! Highly recommended!”

“Absolutely without a doubt one of the best cat sitters we have EVER had. Amberley and her husband Matt went above and beyond to slowly introduce my cats to their new surroundings - to the point where they were sleeping with the cats in a separate room to ensure their comfort and care. They went above and beyond a normal “sitter” service. I would 100% recommend them without hesitation. Communication, pictures, etc. were all consistent, prompt and reassuring. Thank you Amberley and Matt!?”

About: I grew up with my black cat, Sony, being my best friend, but she unfortunately passed away in 2021 at the grand old age of 21. After she passed, I decided to start fostering cats in her memory! Since I started fostering, I have successfully helped 10 cats and kittens find their amazing forever homes! I cat-sat for many people while I was in college in Chicago and have even gotten a sweet girl of my own since then. I have taken care of and fostered many cats, some before and after being spayed/neutered, and others cats with liver and gut issues, so I have experience administering various medicines and preparing wet food for cats.

Perfect for high energy dogs - Wheaton
“Justine and Brett were fantastic! By the time I picked up my little pup, he was all tired out from all the attention and playtime they had with him. So grateful to them for watching my pet!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid and am a true dog lover! My wife Brenda has cared for dogs for years as well! Your dog will be well taken care of and given all the belly rubs! I’m 100% full time work from home. My wife Brenda is also mostly work from home. We are available all day to provide love and attention to your pup, including but not limited to playtime in the yard and walks around the neighborhood! We have a calm, quiet home where your pup can relax and enjoy their vacation. Large, fenced in yard, no kids, just 2 fur babies to provide as much companionship as your pup desires!
About: I’ve owned both cat and dog, I have a fenced in backyard that is perfect for fetch and other games, I love making sure that pets get the love and attention they deserve! My schedule is fairly flexible, I am available to take care of your pets in the afternoons, and weekends. I am available full-time in the summer months I enjoy taking care of pets in your home, or in my 1/2 acre, fenced-in yard. There is plenty of space to run and play. I like to make sure that dogs are mentally challenged with puzzles and obedience training!
About: We’ve provided care for both our own and others' pets since we were children. Family, friends, and neighbors have trusted us to feed, water, play with, walk, and board their pets when they travel. Having lived both in the country and in town, we have both loved and cared for our own and others' cats and dogs for several years in several environments. We both have flexible working schedules, especially in the summer. We have plenty of time to devote to your beloved pet and are used to juggling multiple tasks. My husband and I live in a three bedroom house in Carol Stream, just outside Wheaton. We have a large yard with a 3-sided fence in which pets would be very safe with proper supervision. Pets would be welcome to lay and sleep wherever they are most comfortable - on our furniture, in one of our two beds, or in their own beds or crates. We are animal lovers and have had our own animals in our home. We have welcomed many a new pet into our home, so your pet would receive our love and care while staying at our home.
About: We lost our cocker spaniel of 13 years about 2 years ago so I love to take care of dogs now that we don’t have a dog to pamper. We care for one dog at a time unless two dogs are siblings or good friends then that’s OK. I love to walk around Lake Ellyn Park nearby or just snuggle on the couch and chill with them. I realize how important your baby is to you and will give them love, companionship and special care. We love having a dog around. I’m retired and an empty nester so I am flexible and around all the time. I love to walk around Lake Ellyn Park and Glenbard West HS just down my street. We also like to sit on the front porch in the shade (gated) and watch the world go by. It’s a dead end street; so it’s very relaxed & chill. We are a few blocks from Main Street and town. We love hanging out in the back yard or the porch with our dog guests and take frequent walks.
About: Hi! I am Monika and I currently live in Platt Park area. I am free most weekends and I absolutely love all animals especially dogs! I will take care of your dog like it is my own. I know how hard it is to leave your dog alone all day or while on vacation and I would love to help out to make their day more special. I volunteer at Dumb Friends League animal shelter as a dog walker and I have always had dogs in my life except for right now. I am friendly, responsive and like to be outdoors. Looking forward to meeting you and your dog soon. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask. Thank you for your time and I hope you have a wonderful day!
“Robbyn its AMAZING!! She was Beyond incredible with my little Molly! Always keeping me updated with her activities and breaks! She very loving and truly cares about the health and happiness of your pet! I’ll definitely keep booking her for the future because molly loved her so much!”

“Maria has been a LIFE SAVER for me. I work full time in Chicago and I needed someone who was able to take my dog M-F but I didn't want to bring my dog to an impersonal day care. That's when I found Maria. I really love that Oliver (my dog) is safe in Maria's home and also able to go to the dog park everyday. When I pick him up he is a very happy and tired dog! I could not have asked for a better situation and we consider Maria part of the family. She treats my dog as if he was her own and for that I am so thankful.”

“Karissa is awesome. My Stu has so much fun and I love the photos and updates she shares. Any pup would be lucky to spend some time with Karissa, her people and fur family. Glad I found her!”

“I can’t believe how lucky I am to have found Jean and Al. They treat my Emmie like their own and spend every minute of the day loving her. They are reliable, kind, trust-worthy, and the most amazing dog people you will ever find. They have been watching my girl during the weekdays while I work and there is no one else I would trust quite as much with the job. I love them!”

There will be at least 2-3 walks a day along side of taking them out to potty. Your pet will be teeter like part of the family , spoiling them with lots of goodies and love. I’m on leave from work so I have plenty of time to devote to your pet. I am up bright and early every day so I would be spending time with pets most of the day. I have teenager boys who love helping out with animals and being around them. I have back area where I can set areas of play up for pets.

I have a very flexible schedule and I’m available most of the day, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I can also accept last-minute bookings when needed. I make sure pets are always safe and comfortable. I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding, walks, and any routines the dog is used to. About: I have owned and cared for dogs, assisting in training and grooming, my entire life. I worked in a grooming parlor throughout high school and have owned a number of animals both domestic and exotic since childhood, including cats, dogs, reptiles, and fish. I am currently training my youngest dog as my service dog for a newly discovered dysautonomic condition, which has given me a plethora of knowledge outside of the basic obedience training I have provided the dogs in my care my entire life. I am experienced in medication administration, senior care, dietary restrictions/allergies, and am familiar with behavioral issues stemming from insecurity or severe anxiety, giving me great attention to dog behavior and body language. I am also able to do a basic full body groom for dogs including paw pads, nails, teeth, and ears from home, limited to dogs requiring only brush outs and not actual haircuts for their breed. With my experience in pet anxiety, particularly separation, I am also very attentive to enrichment for the dogs I care for, ensuring they are mentally and physically stimulated to avoid any destructive behaviors from boredom. I am also a beginner to dog sports, something I am exploring the different forms of with my current dogs to see which sport they thrive in and enjoy. I am technically unemployed, meaning my routine can be adjusted to fit the needs of the dogs I am caring for. My usual routines are driving kids to and from school or taking them and our puppy on outdoor adventures (walking, fishing, swimming, etc) that would easily be able to include your own dog! We also recently lost our high needs senior dog last March, which has left us with a lot of extra time to love on another pup. It leaves a lot of flexibility for anyone with a wonky schedule or a 9-5 that needs care during normal working hours. I am currently a caregiver for my 7 year old epileptic brother who would be home outside of school and most weekdays during sitting, which means that any dogs I board should be comfortable with respectful kids. I also have a 2 year old friendly white pittie and small senior chihuahua mix that would give your dog someone to play with! If your dog does need to be the only dog, I would be able to sit rather than board at my own home for their comfort, as I am unable to offer boarding without my dogs being home. Outside of driving my brother to and from school or the occasional doctor's appointment, I am typically pretty available outside of my puppy's training schedule which I am able to adjust as needed. I offer enrichment, am able to crate, and have a long line on our patio with a plethora of toys from balls to a flirt pole for outdoor play. We also live in a complex with two built in dog parks that I use when empty, which I would be able to bring your dog to with or without my own. I am able to do training, enrichment, medication administration, meals, outdoor time, and provide walks as needed and to the degree your animal needs. I also have experience in caring for both ill and healthy exotic animals should you have any other pets in your home that need care.
“Judy was great with our little girl. It was our first time leaving our puppy with a sitter and Judy made us feel comfortable. She planned a meet and greet so we could see her place and she could meet us and our pup. Thanks to this, when we went over for the actual appointment, our puppy went right over to her with no worries. Judy also sent us photos and updates a few times during the day so we could be comfortable with how things were going. She took our puppy for multiple walks and let her follow her around so she was very comfortable. We will definitely reach out to Judy again the next time we need a sitter.”

“Michelle is amazing, the absolute best! I felt so comfortable leaving my pup with her. She is extremely patient and accommodating. When I was late on pickup due to my crazy hours as a nurse, she was extremely sweet and flexible. My puppy is young and still learning and she was very adaptable with her. I love that my pup was able to socialize with her little ones which allowed her to have fun while getting some energy out. I’m so happy to have found someone that loved and cared for my girl as much as I do! I highly recommend her and will be using her again for daycare!”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, and caring for animals is truly a passion of mine. I currently have one dog and two cats who are a huge part of my family, we love them dearly and treat all pets in our home the same way. I work part-time, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility to give your pup lots of attention, playtime, and care. I’m available for both weekday and weekend boarding, and my schedule is very open. I live near several trails and parks, so walks and outdoor time are a big part of the experience here. I also have a very active 8 year old Lab named Layla who absolutely adores people and other dogs. She’s friendly, playful, and loves having company. Because I have two cats in the home, visiting dogs must be cat-friendly. At this time, I’m not able to accommodate pit bulls or pit mixes. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities, and I aim to make them feel right at home while they’re with us. I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pup! In my home your pet will be family to us. While your pup is in my home, she will go on walks and plays right along side my dog. Your pet will have full range of our home, and will be treated no differently than my dog, so your dog might come home more spoiled than ever!
“Danielle was so flexible, responsive and accommodating to my changing plans. And most importantly, my Ava had an absolute blast! Such a comforting feeling to know she’s being so well taken care of. Will definitely rebook. Thanks again!”

“I contacted Victoria without much.notice hoping to get somebody to walk my dog 2 times on a day where I was going to be gone for at least 12 hours. She had never met me or my dogs but took on the task. She was.able.to get my dogs out, hung out with them a bit in my yard, and for their second afternoon session she took them for a wooded hike and to a pet store for treats. She went above and beyond and my dogs were very pleased. Great job V.”
“Annika was great at communicating with us before the scheduled walk/play and throughout the day to let us know how our sweet pup was doing. We will surely ask her to help us again!”

“Louie is very particular about the company he keeps. He adores Cherri and enjoys going on walks with her. We were very grateful and very relieved that he has a new friend.🙂”

About: My wife, son and I have taken care of pets our entire lives. Currently, we have only one elderly cat with special medical needs. Recently retired, we would love to adopt a dog but our frequent travel (to visit grandchildren) makes that a challenge. That travel helps us understand the stress and anxiety of leaving a pet in the care of others. We enjoy walking and playing with dogs (and cats!) and enjoy being in our yard, which opens to a field in the back, perfect for fetch. We will fill the day with a lot of activity and attention in a safe and secure environment. We are home full time and will have plenty of opportunity for walks, play time and potty breaks. During the school year, but my wife and I are home... and in summer months, our young-adult son will help as well. We have a spacious yard but it is not fenced so we would keep your dog on a long leash while outside. At night, we can easily crate, depending on the pet-parents preferences.
About: I've had pets nearly all of my life and love all types of animals, whether domesticated pets or seeing animals while backpacking in the wilderness. I am currently working part-time and have plenty of time to visit your pets during the week. My schedule is flexible for dog walking and/or visits in your home. Pets are members of our families. Just like anyone, they deserve our trust and need to feel safe. Every pet is unique and I believe it's important to get to know each pet's personality.
“Madeline saved the day and accepted a last minute request when our usual dog walker was out of town. She was patient with our nervous pup and did a great job at making her feel comfortable!”

“Catherine provided great service for me when I was in a bind last minute. She was very responsive, followed the instructions that I left, and most importantly was great with my dog. She also provided adorable photo updates in the walk summary of her fun time with Willow. I will definitely be booking Catherine in the future & will recommend her services to others. Thank you!!”
About: Am offering neighborhood help for drop- in and dog walks only. I have been around plenty of dogs/cats and will follow care instructions for your pet. I only accept dogs that are ok being with strangers and are easy to take care of . Pay what you can - let me know and I will adjust rates
“Vivian was AMAZING!! I have never left my dogs with anyone other than family in 24 years! She did a great job even when my dog did not cooperate on their first walk. She left me great messages and cute photos. I felt very comfortable leaving and did not worry at all on trip while I was away. I will be using her again and would recommend her over and over.”

“It’s our first time having someone walk our 5 months old puppy, and Nicole was super nice, communicative and respectful to our puppy ( we had very bad experience with the dog care in Schaumburg). Nicole was above and beyond and our puppy was very happy with her, that’s everything we wanted.”

About: I trained my German Shepherd, Dakota, and taught him all 25 of the tricks that he knows! I have trained and lived with that 80lb pup with behavioral issues, so I am confident even with the biggest, craziest dogs! I have a soft spot for big dogs because of Dakota, but I also grew up with 3 Chihuahua mixes and a Border Collie which cemented my love for dogs of all sizes and temperaments! During the school year, I have college classes Monday through Thursday every week, but they are spread out if I needed to let any dogs out or take them for brisk walks in between! On the weekends, I don’t ever have a strict schedule. In the summer, my availability varies moreso by week! I let the animals warm up to me first before petting, picking up, or feeding, as to keep them as comfortable as possible. I love playing with cats and dogs indoors or outdoors. I have lived in Wheaton for my entire life, so I know the Wheaton area and all of its surrounding towns very well so I can take pets on longer or shorter walks as need be!

About: I've taken care of pets ever since I was a kid. When I was in high school, my family hosted dogs of all sizes, including one of my favorites, a Burnese Mountain Dog named Ruby. Lately I've had the chance to watch my brother's two dogs (as seen in my bio pics) when he travels. I work a semi-active full time job over the week, with plenty of energy to spare when I'm not working. I am fully available over the weekends from Friday evening straight through to Sunday! I also am free on weekdays for walks or drop-ins as long as it's before 7:30 am or after 5 pm. Your dog will stay in a cozy, smoke-free condo where they are welcome on the furniture and bed. While I don't have a yard, I love taking long, frequent walks around the neighborhood. For their comfort and safety, I host one family at a time and ask that owners provide the dog's preferred bed or crate if possible
“Linda has been so wonderful with my dog. She kept updating me and sending me pictures. She treated my dog as if her own. Peanut seemed to be well at home with Linda and Daisy. I couldn't expect better treatment. I would recommend her for anyone. Thanks Linda!!!”

“This was the third (and longest) time Traci watched Greta. And by all the cute photos and stories she shared with us while on vacation, Greta loved LOVED staying with Traci and her family. I can’t thank her enough for making our Greta feel safe and welcomed. Traci is the best!”

“As soon as we had our meet and greet with Annika we knew our dogs would be in good hands. She and Grant provided a warm and welcoming home for our girls while we were out of town for nine days. They took them on walks in the park and played with our ball obsessed Sheltie. Thunder scares our dogs and Annika and Grant snuggled them through the storms. They sent pictures all the time and I was sure Sunny and Dolly were never going to want to come home! I can't make enough positive comments about the kindness and attention our girls were given by Annika and Grant.”

“Amanda and her family were absolutely wonderful with Margeaux and made our first Rover/pet service experience a very positive one. Margeaux is looking forward to us going out of town again so she can spend time with her new buddies :)”
