About: I've taken care of pets ever since I was a kid. When I was in high school, my family hosted dogs of all sizes, including one of my favorites, a Burnese Mountain Dog named Ruby. Lately I've had the chance to watch my brother's two dogs (as seen in my bio pics) when he travels. I work a semi-active full time job over the week, with plenty of energy to spare when I'm not working. I am fully available over the weekends from Friday evening straight through to Sunday! I also am free on weekdays for walks or drop-ins as long as it's before 7:30 am or after 5 pm. Your dog will stay in a cozy, smoke-free condo where they are welcome on the furniture and bed. While I don't have a yard, I love taking long, frequent walks around the neighborhood. For their comfort and safety, I host one family at a time and ask that owners provide the dog's preferred bed or crate if possible

“As soon as we had our meet and greet with Annika we knew our dogs would be in good hands. She and Grant provided a warm and welcoming home for our girls while we were out of town for nine days. They took them on walks in the park and played with our ball obsessed Sheltie. Thunder scares our dogs and Annika and Grant snuggled them through the storms. They sent pictures all the time and I was sure Sunny and Dolly were never going to want to come home! It was so nice having Karen watch my dog, Libby. I really appreciated that she took the time to learn about Libby’s personality and did her best to keep her routine fun and as close to home as possible. Karen was kind, caring, and communicative throughout the stay, which gave me peace of mind. She was also very flexible with both dropoff and pickup times, and I really appreciated that. Such a lovely family who warmly embrace all dogs and their needs. My dog - Clipper - had a wonderful couple of nights there.
