“I recommend Britanny a million times. From drop off to pickup she was very communicative sending pictures almost every day. She babied him and showed him love. My pup couldn’t have been in better hands. A+++ experience. Thank you Britanny and family.”

“Just the best kind of person, home and family to leave my somewhat anxious dog. Danielle is just great! Charlie came back to us after one week, so mellow and calm. We believe he misses all of his friends! We know if he could speak, he would let us know he definitely wanted to go back to the house in Villa Park....Thanks again, Danielle. John and Sharon”

“Rosie's love and care for our two dogs, Charlie and Peanut, was excellent. We boarded our ten-year-old special-needs dog (Peanut) and our fourteen-year-old senior dog (Charlie) for a few days with Rosie. She was able to administer medications and handle the different needs of each dog. We also greatly appreciate the help of Rosie's little dog, Bella and her daughter, Ruby. We have already booked a second boarding stay with Rosie due the confidence we have in her care for our doggies. Hooray!”

“I am happy to have left my baby with Bonnie, I think she is a good caregiver, she was attentive at all times to my messages and the best of all for me is that they also speak my language. Her house is spacious and very beautiful with plenty of space for them to be comfortable, I think the family members are also very kind to babies, she is recommended!”

“My usual sitter had an emergency & had to cancel on us. I found Rover.com & Edgar came to our rescue!! He was extremely accommodating with last minute plans for our two pups!! He has a beautiful fenced back yard & family that also helped to make our fur babies feel more at home. I could tell from update photos & messages daily that my boys were being well taken care of. Highly recommended!! Thanks again, Edgar & fam ❤️”

“Courtney kept us updated with lots of pictures of Clover, we missed him so bad so it was VERY nice to get pictures throughout the day! Thank you for taking such good care of him!”

“Robyn is amazing! She engaged and played with Miles (probably better than we do) and communicated and shared videos and pictures every day to assure us that he was doing great. She even worked with him in some areas of opportunity. We were nervous to leave him but she made it so there was nothing to worry about. Truly a fantastic experience and highly recommend Robyn.”

“My dog Olly had his best vacation at Allis' place. Allis was pleasant to work with, very responsive and regularly shared videos and pics of Olly too. I would love go back to her in future too and also recommend her to anyone in need.”

“Melissa went above and beyond to care for Pancake! Pancake was like a kid at summer camp having the best time of her life, playing with all her new best friends and doing all sorts of fun new activities. Melissa’s family also went out of their way to play with her, give her walks, and even pup cups! They did an excellent job cleaning Pancake (even her bully face wrinkles) which Pancake typically is not a fan of😂. Can’t wait to have Pancake come back here again! THANK YOU! ❤️”

About: Hello my name is Yesica, you can call me Yesi. I am down to earth, friendly, and caring. I am soft spoken and polite, but can be stern when needed. I am a reliable person who is willing to go above and beyond what is asked of me and what needs to be done. I have been a dog owner since I was in 4th grade but animals have always been a great passion to me. I currently have a Chihuahua and Shih Tzu of my own. They are my whole heart, I see them as family and I hope to care for yours like I care for mine. I want to provide your pet with the most comfortable experience I can. I have helped with dogs from birthing of puppies to caring of senior dogs. I have more experience with small dogs and other small animals but I love to work with larger dogs as well. I am a big believer of proper animal care. An animals well being is the greatest concern I have while watching it. Animals are family, they deserve the best care we can provide. I am always open for constructive criticism, and welcome you to address any issues you may have. I work a full-time job Monday through Fridays 8:45 to 6. But after work I am able to give your companions my full attention. I do step away at times on weekends to complete some of my life tasks but I do not stay away for long. I am a big believer of attending to a pets needs to the way they require. I prefer sitting pets at their homes to stress them out the least possible and keep part of their routine. But I am also very accommodating and can make my home feel welcoming.
“I try to always tip in cash. For some reason I don't know I just feel like it's safer. But I won't let my cat stay with anybody else for Katie. Katie makes your animal feel like they are one of her family. My cat is very skittish and afraid of strangers. But not with Katie. She is absolutely the best! If you want the best than book with Katie!”

“Erica took fabulous care of my Duke. She treated him like he was her own dog. I truly appreciated how responsive she was when I would check in to see how the day was going. I would highly recommend Ericka and will be using her again.”

“Ingrida is great. We’ve seen her multiple of times already. I know our fur baby is in great hands with her. We love the updates and verbal “report card” when we pick up our puppy! Thank you for taking wonderful care of our little one.”

“We booked it last moment and were very lucky to find Maricela. Our little yorkie was in good hands, we received updates regularly and will for sure reach out to her when needed again.”

“Lyn and family stepped up for us when our boarding situation fell apart mid trip. Our dog is already super anxious and was coming from another anxiety producing situation when she arrived as a guest at Lyn's, but when we picked her up after several days with Lyn and family she was her normal happy self. We are so grateful!”

“I want to start by saying I’m no stranger to dog sitters. I’ve been in need for someone to watch my dog many of times and in the past, my sitters have all been pretty good. However, when it comes to Pallvi, I have to say she was absolutely exceptional!! Plenty of checkins thought the sitting, very understanding on pick up and drop off timing, and super competitive pricing! Easily one of the best sitters I’ve gone with this far and I’ll admit I don’t plan on using any other sitter besides her in the future. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!!! 10/10!!! 😊❤️💯”
“Penny was amazing! I left my pup, Ginger, with her for 2 weeks while we were out of country. Penny sent pictures of Ginger and made sure she had plenty of activity. I even noticed that Ginger had lost a few pounds that she needed to lose! I would highly recommend Penny!”

“Nina took great care of our dog. She went above and beyond to help calm him when he was rattled and nervous in a new setting and there was bad weather. He had lots of space to run and play in her yard. She sent a picture and update every day.”

“Christina’s family is so caring and loving! You can tell how much their kids enjoy hanging out with Milo and accepted him as part of the family. It’s so great to see how sweet their dog Brydie is too! I know he always has a great experience with Christina and her family 💗”

“Mary was great with Bernard. He was a happy camper when we picked up him and he was getting lots of time outside and attention - both of which he loves. She responded quickly to messages and was very flexible with pick up and drop off. There where several other dogs around and also other people. I would use Mary again!”

Robert did a great job with our weimaraner Geddy. He gave him lots of good exercise and worked with Geddy’s quirks. Robert kept us updated throughout our trip. I would highly recommend him and we will definitely plan to use him in the future. Thanks for everything Robert.

Edgar helped us out last minute. He communicated during the entire two night stay, provided lots of pictures and updates and was patient and understanding with our dog since this was the first time we had left him with someone else. We appreciated everything he did for our dog and can’t recommend him enough! Thank you Edgar and his kids for loving our dog while we were gone!

Ashley was incredible! She sent an update with pictures every evening so we knew what they were up to and gave peace of mind while missing our girl. She was so attentive to Winnie - Let us know when her ear seemed to bother her and was down to clean her ears and offered to go purchase solution if needed. She checked with us prior to be sure Winnie could have a piece of Thanksgiving turkey and even got her a special toy during her own errand run which she still carries around. Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! Would recommend to anyone!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
