About: I currently have a cat of my own -Ozzy- and have cared for him for the past three years, giving me a lot of experience with feeding, keeping routines, playtime, litter box care, and paying attention to changes in behavior or mood. I previously worked at a pet store where I helped care for shelter cats up for adoption. This gave me the opportunity to work with cats with different personalities and comfort levels and taught me the importance of patience and letting each animal come to you at their own pace. In anddition, I’ve also cared for my neighbors' pets over the years, including cats, dogs, birds and rabbits while they were away. I grew up with dogs and have experience walking and caring for them, as well as growing up with hamsters and birds. While I'm not comfortable handling birds directly, I'm happy to help with basic care such as feeding and cage cleaning. Working late? I’ve got you! I work a full time office job, so my most reliable weekday availability is early mornings for check-in visits and after 4 pm for dog walks and check-ins. Rain or snow? No problem! I’m happy to get outside for your dog’s walk as long as conditions are safe for both me and your pup! I’m also available Saturday/Sunday mornings and afternoons, with evenings varying from week to week. About: Have had a dog all my life and was lucky enough that all our family dogs slept with me and now, of course, my two little ones and all the ones I host that like to sleep in bed too. It’s like one big slumber party, for the dogs, and well honestly, myself as well and during the winter a little extra heat. For the past 27 years I have had 4 dogs (2 of which I currently am the mother). Have personally trained them to be sociable, sweet, potty trained, and off leash doggies. Typically we go on walks throughout the day for any duration, I just read and follow what they want to do, if my older one wants to go in early I bring him in and continue with the other one. Even when I walk your dogs, I watch them to see if they need to get out more energy or still go potty and try to do my best to make sure they do before I bring them back home (sometimes my schedule or the weather does not allow the extra time, but if it does and they need it, no worries, it’s on me).
