About: I have taken care of various animals since I was 16, ranging from chickens, roosters and parakeets, to hamsters, guinea pigs, cats and dogs. I have helped birth and take care of newborn puppies. I have open availability for either in-home care or boarding during the week and on Saturdays. I am available morning, day and night for either full care and company, or just a daily walk. I will take care of your pet or pets as if they were at home, whether they're actually at home, or in my own home. About: I have loved animals since childhood, and when I was a child I had a cat. I also lived with my boyfriend's family for a year, they had a dog and I took care of Him. Now periodically my friends leave their dogs with me when they go on a trip or on a business trip. I love this expression: "Dogs talk, but only to those who can listen." I work online so I have a lot of time to play and take care of your dogs. The second part of the day is more freely , but I have a flexible schedule and can combine work and pet care. I have a large one-room apartment with plenty of space for a dog. Near the house there is a large area outside for walking, a few minutes away there is a large park with a lake. I walk the dog several times a day, feed it on schedule, and play with the cats' and dogs' favorite toys.

About: I currently have a cat of my own -Ozzy- and have cared for him for the past three years, giving me a lot of experience with feeding, keeping routines, playtime, litter box care, and paying attention to changes in behavior or mood. I previously worked at a pet store where I helped care for shelter cats up for adoption. This gave me the opportunity to work with cats with different personalities and comfort levels and taught me the importance of patience and letting each animal come to you at their own pace. In anddition, I’ve also cared for my neighbors' pets over the years, including cats, dogs, birds and rabbits while they were away. I grew up with dogs and have experience walking and caring for them, as well as growing up with hamsters and birds. While I'm not comfortable handling birds directly, I'm happy to help with basic care such as feeding and cage cleaning. Working late? I’ve got you! I work a full time office job, so my most reliable weekday availability is early mornings for check-in visits and after 4 pm for dog walks and check-ins. Rain or snow? No problem! I’m happy to get outside for your dog’s walk as long as conditions are safe for both me and your pup! I’m also available Saturday/Sunday mornings and afternoons, with evenings varying from week to week. Feel free to reach out even if your schedule doesn’t perfectly match my usual availability as I’m happy to see if we can make it work. For weekday mornings or earlier afternoon visits, I may be able to accommodate requests with a few days notice depending on the location. I’m especially flexible around the Downers Grove area. My goal is to find a schedule that works for both of us and, most importantly, keeps your pet happy and well cared for. I know how important our pets are to us, and I want you to feel confident that yours is in caring, dependable hands while you're away. I'm a calm and attentive caregiver who takes the time to learn each pet's individual personality, routine, and needs. For check-in visits, I can provide fresh food and water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and oral medication (pills only—no injections). I’ll also send you a photo and update during each visit so you know how your pet is doing. I’m mindful that I’m also a guest in your home. I clean up after myself, keep your pet’s food, toys, and supplies where they belong, and leave things as I found them. I believe clear communication is an important part of building trust, so I’ll follow your instructions carefully and let you know if I notice anything unusual with your pet. At this time, I offer check-in visits and dog walking rather than boarding.

About: Hi! Im Cailey. Im a sophomore in college studying to become a veterinarian. I previously worked at a pet hotel for two years as a daycare attendant, groomer, and reactive dog handler. I am comfortable with breeds of all sizes and temperaments. While working at the pet hotel I was also trained on how to administer various medications both oral and injection, and I was trained in pet cpr and how to read the body language of a dog. I have three large breed dogs of my own, two of which I took to professional trainers and my most recent rescue I trained myself. I am not a professional trainer but I am quite educated on the subject! Please reach out for any grooming, pet care, or training inquires! Thank you. My dogs wake me up every morning around 7-8 to go potty and for breakfast. I take one or two of my dogs each morning to run with me. I live right next to a park we usually do two laps of. After then my dogs pretty much entertain each other until dinner time. In other peoples homes I treat them as if they were my own! Well talk everything over in person of course but just leave me detailed instructions and I will do my best to follow them to a T!
