About: We lost our cocker spaniel of 13 years about 2 years ago so I love to take care of dogs now that we don’t have a dog to pamper. We care for one dog at a time unless two dogs are siblings or good friends then that’s OK. I love to walk around Lake Ellyn Park nearby or just snuggle on the couch and chill with them. I realize how important your baby is to you and will give them love, companionship and special care. We love having a dog around. I’m retired and an empty nester so I am flexible and around all the time. I love to walk around Lake Ellyn Park and Glenbard West HS just down my street. We also like to sit on the front porch in the shade (gated) and watch the world go by. It’s a dead end street; so it’s very relaxed & chill. We are a few blocks from Main Street and town. We love hanging out in the back yard or the porch with our dog guests and take frequent walks.
About: I have loved animals since childhood, and when I was a child I had a cat. I also lived with my boyfriend's family for a year, they had a dog and I took care of Him. Now periodically my friends leave their dogs with me when they go on a trip or on a business trip. I love this expression: "Dogs talk, but only to those who can listen." I work online so I have a lot of time to play and take care of your dogs. The second part of the day is more freely , but I have a flexible schedule and can combine work and pet care. I have a large one-room apartment with plenty of space for a dog. Near the house there is a large area outside for walking, a few minutes away there is a large park with a lake. About: I’ve taken care of up to 4 dogs at a time. I have 6 years of experience. I have taken care of senior dogs, aggressive dogs, and easy dogs. I have always been a dog person and love taking care of them! I will make sure your animals feel loved and safe when you are away. I am currently taking a break from a full time job to take care of my mom who recently had a minor stroke. My schedule is pretty open, and I will be able to work around taking care of her. I have a fenced yard for my dog. He is aggressive and pulls on walks but we are working on it and I am capable of making sure he still gets out for walks, I am in shape so this makes it possible for me to do. As far as in my clients home, I make sure to meet with them first before showing up to dog sit. I find this to be helpful. Of course this isn’t required but I am open to that. My main goal is to make sure the pets are feeling safe and happy when their owners are away. I take safety very seriously. Examples include making sure they don’t get into anything, and that they are secured both on walks and outside in the yard. I have never had a situation with dogs having to go to vet or getting out.

“Robert was great with my pup Maverick! He was able to watch him last minute for me, and would send me picture updates and let me know how he was doing, eating, and adjusting. Maverick got a lot of play time too and had a great time! I will definitely be using Robert again in the future!”

“Gabriela and Richard were so kind and sweet with my toy poodle! They even took her on little adventures to get doggie ice cream and nice walks around the neighborhood, aside from plenty of outside time in their own fenced-in backyard! Gabriela was super great about texting updates and super cute pics of my girl! And they even got her to eat a good bit while I was away even though she usually tries to go on a hunger strike in my absence. Gabriela met us for like 15 mins at the local park before boarding and got to know my dog and garner some info from me, which I really appreciated and not a lot of boarders do that! My girl was very happy when I picked her up and I would absolutely rebook Gabriela and Richard! Highly recommend!”
