About: I've been a full time veterinary assistant for 5 years now. I've loved animals since I was a child. I pet sit friends and family pets. I am able to take care of your pet before and after work. I can stop by my apartment on my lunch break and take care of your pet, if needed. I do not work on weekends. My apartment has a dog park, but I do like going on long walks. Play time is essential. “I have two orange tabbies who are set up on an automatic feeder and automatic litter box, so the hardest part about being away from them is finding someone who can play with them and give them food as a treat. I hired Hannah as a cat sitter and she pleasantly exceeded my expectations. Hannah is beyond amazing. She got both of my cats to play with her by figuring out the weird things they each like to do — one is driven by random sounds and the other is a fetcher. Best part was when I walked in, they both appeared to be in a good mood, whereas normally they look stressed after I’ve been away. That’s my measure of how well they were played with. Highly recommend Hannah for cats who need more than just a check-in.”

About: We lost our cocker spaniel of 13 years about 2 years ago so I love to take care of dogs now that we don’t have a dog to pamper. We care for one dog at a time unless two dogs are siblings or good friends then that’s OK. I love to walk around Lake Ellyn Park nearby or just snuggle on the couch and chill with them. I realize how important your baby is to you and will give them love, companionship and special care. We love having a dog around. I’m retired and an empty nester so I am flexible and around all the time. I love to walk around Lake Ellyn Park and Glenbard West HS just down my street. We also like to sit on the front porch in the shade (gated) and watch the world go by. It’s a dead end street; so it’s very relaxed & chill. We are a few blocks from Main Street and town. We love hanging out in the back yard or the porch with our dog guests and take frequent walks.
About: I been taking of pets since in high school from my own to my neighbors. I love being around animals.it’s a joy to be able to care for pets. There will be at least 2-3 walks a day along side of taking them out to potty. Your pet will be teeter like part of the family , spoiling them with lots of goodies and love. One is high-energy, loves to run, get into trouble and chase anything with fur or feathers. The other is arthritic, vocal and very stubborn. About: Ever since I was 17 I’ve been taking care of dogs from family friends to school friends! Ive had over 7 dogs of my own and have trained most of them with my brothers help! I do work at an animal hospital so I’m qualified to give medications as well as being able to notice and take care of minor medical situations like digestive issues. I’m able to give nail trims and do eat and eye cleanings do to my experience with my 3 Maltese and I’m able to handle bigger breed dogs with a lot of energy since I have had several pit bulls and retrievers! About: My wife, son and I have taken care of pets our entire lives. Currently, we have only one elderly cat with special medical needs. Recently retired, we would love to adopt a dog but our frequent travel (to visit grandchildren) makes that a challenge. That travel helps us understand the stress and anxiety of leaving a pet in the care of others. We enjoy walking and playing with dogs (and cats!) and enjoy being in our yard, which opens to a field in the back, perfect for fetch. We will fill the day with a lot of activity and attention in a safe and secure environment. We are home full time and will have plenty of opportunity for walks, play time and potty breaks. During the school year, but my wife and I are home... and in summer months, our young-adult son will help as well. We have a spacious yard but it is not fenced so we would keep your dog on a long leash while outside. At night, we can easily crate, depending on the pet-parents preferences.
About: I’ve had dogs in my family since I was a kid, and I absolutely adore them - so this made it a no brainer for me to continue caring for dogs throughout high school & college! When I first began working with dogs, I devoted much of my time to learning & identifying their behaviors so that I could take care of them by truly understanding them - which is knowledge that I still think of and use to this day! I’ve been consistently pet sitting dogs since I was 12 - and I’m 20 now! I fill up much of my time caring for my friend’s dogs as well for those in my community, all of which I treat as if they were my own! I work at a Pet Lodging/Daycare facility in my hometown and it truly is the best job I’ve ever had. Getting to take care of and hang out with dogs genuinely brings me so much joy and I look forward to continue doing so!
