“Annika is so wonderful! I could not have asked for better care for my girl. I’m so thankful for her help and I know Wink was happy to see her everyday!”

“Grace was AMAZING and is so knowledgeable about dogs and their unique needs. She was so patient and knew exactly how to get our dog with bad anxiety more comfortable. We really appreciate her help and the updates during the drop- in visit.”

“I was nervous about leaving my dog with someone I didn’t know, especially going so far away. Maricela was amazing! She was reliable and prompt and went above and beyond to make sure my fur baby was loved and cared for. I will definitely use her again knowing I won’t have to worry”

“Gabriela is wonderful! She was able to accommodate a last minute request, which I really appreciated. She is always on time or a few minutes early, which is nice, and is great with my pup.”

About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life and have been caring for my own for over 11 years now! Over the years I’ve gained lots of experience with walking, feeding, and playing with dogs. I’m patient, responsible, and genuinely love spending time with animals. I am out of state for college but will be home from December 12th to January 20th. During that time I would love to care for as many pets as I can! While I’m not able to host dogs in my home, I’m happy to care for them in yours to make sure they feel comfortable. I will follow any specific routines or instructions you provide!
“Melissa is awesome! It usually takes a while for our dogs to warm up to people they don’t know, but they liked her right away! I’m looking forward to booking her more!”

About: As a lifelong dog owner, I’m always told I have a calm demeanor that keeps people and dogs feeling comfortable and stress free. Go enjoy your plans and feel confident that I am capable and experienced. As an experienced mom and a teacher, I’m ready to resolve problems and make logical decisions to keep your home and your beloved pets safe. I’m taking the leap to retire early from teaching, and my children are adults now so I am open and free to help you in anyway you need! Every dog and every home has different expectations to keep their pets comfortable and stress-free. I would stay at your house to care for your pets for as long as your dog needs, and fulfill any care requirements that your dog is used to when you yourself are home. I will play with and cuddle with your dog as much as they like and need!

About: I currently have two cats (ages 2 and 3) and I'm experienced with giving daily medication, so I'm comfortable with pets who need extra care. Dogs, hold a special place in my heart. I'm hoping to have a few of my own someday, but for now, I'd love to spend time with yours — walks, playtime, and becoming good friends. Looking forward to meeting your pets! I’m currently looking for new work opportunities, which leaves me with a lot of free time to spend with animals. And maybe even become a full-time pet sitter. As I have my own two cats, I prefer to pet sit or visit your home to spend time with the pets in their own environment. I can walk the familiar routes or take dogs for longer walks in the park.
About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 6 years old, and I’ve cared for 6 dogs over the years. My first dog was a Golden Retriever named Rambo ❤️ I currently have 2 dogs Buddy and Duke that stay with my mom. I’ve also had experience with senior dogs, including helping dogs with hip problems and adjusting their care as they got older. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs and understanding their personalities, whether they want to play, go for walks, or just relax and have some company. My main job is part-time, which gives me flexible availability throughout the week. I’m generally available on weekdays, especially during mornings and afternoons, and can often accommodate a variety of scheduling needs. I always follow the owner’s instructions and respect each pet’s routine to help them feel comfortable and safe. I make sure pets have plenty of attention, fresh water, exercise, and a clean environment. Their safety and well-being are my top priorities, and I’ll treat them with the same care and respect I would give my own pets.
“Hannah was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of our 2 cats Meko & Misty. We looked forward to all her reports. She sent us several pictures of her playing and petting both cats. So I know they had a great time. We hadn't asked but she went ahead and put our garbage cans out for us. We were on a family vacation and I recommended her to my son & daughter-in-law as they were not happy with their cat sitter. We're planning a short trip next month and will definitely book her again.”

About: I've taken care of pets ever since I was a kid. When I was in high school, my family hosted dogs of all sizes, including one of my favorites, a Burnese Mountain Dog named Ruby. Lately I've had the chance to watch my brother's two dogs (as seen in my bio pics) when he travels. I work a semi-active full time job over the week, with plenty of energy to spare when I'm not working. I am fully available over the weekends from Friday evening straight through to Sunday! I also am free on weekdays for walks or drop-ins as long as it's before 7:30 am or after 5 pm. Your dog will stay in a cozy, smoke-free condo where they are welcome on the furniture and bed. While I don't have a yard, I love taking long, frequent walks around the neighborhood. For their comfort and safety, I host one family at a time and ask that owners provide the dog's preferred bed or crate if possible
About: We lost our cocker spaniel of 13 years about 2 years ago so I love to take care of dogs now that we don’t have a dog to pamper. We care for one dog at a time unless two dogs are siblings or good friends then that’s OK. I love to walk around Lake Ellyn Park nearby or just snuggle on the couch and chill with them. I realize how important your baby is to you and will give them love, companionship and special care. We love having a dog around. I’m retired and an empty nester so I am flexible and around all the time. I love to walk around Lake Ellyn Park and Glenbard West HS just down my street. We also like to sit on the front porch in the shade (gated) and watch the world go by. It’s a dead end street; so it’s very relaxed & chill. We are a few blocks from Main Street and town. We love hanging out in the back yard or the porch with our dog guests and take frequent walks.
“Best cat sitter ever. Plenty of pictures, careful providing of medicines, kitty litter area spotless. She even organized Pumpkin’s cat toys! Hilarious. Will definitely use again. Thanks, Velvet!”
About: I've always had a special place in my heart for dogs. I have watched my friends furry companions as well as taken my coaches dog on some adventures. I also have had my own dog for about 6 years now. I am out of college for the summer and my schedule is very flexible! I would hang out with dogs all day if I could. If you need someone to take your pup out while you are at work or doing other tasks, I'm your gal! I'm always aware of the surrounding environment when it comes to trash and other unwanted items your dog might want to explore. I also clean up any messes so that your dog is not tracking any mud into your home. if we go on longer walks I will bring some water too.
“Renee was great! Loved that she took the time beforehand to do a meet n greet. She even did an extra meet n greet because we booked so far in advance and it had been awhile. Attentive, kind, and her passion for animals is clear! Thank you 😊”

About: I trained my German Shepherd, Dakota, and taught him all 25 of the tricks that he knows! I have trained and lived with that 80lb pup with behavioral issues, so I am confident even with the biggest, craziest dogs! I have a soft spot for big dogs because of Dakota, but I also grew up with 3 Chihuahua mixes and a Border Collie which cemented my love for dogs of all sizes and temperaments! During the school year, I have college classes Monday through Thursday every week, but they are spread out if I needed to let any dogs out or take them for brisk walks in between! On the weekends, I don’t ever have a strict schedule. In the summer, my availability varies moreso by week! I let the animals warm up to me first before petting, picking up, or feeding, as to keep them as comfortable as possible. I love playing with cats and dogs indoors or outdoors. I have lived in Wheaton for my entire life, so I know the Wheaton area and all of its surrounding towns very well so I can take pets on longer or shorter walks as need be!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Glendale Heights
Thantita did an amazing job with Toby. I feel like because he’s dark and big he can scare people but he’s really just all looks. She was on the floor playing with him during the meet & greet and you could see he was relaxed around her. She also tended to my one cat that has tummy issues by feeding her canned food. She even added a little water to it to keep her hydrated. She sent really great pics every day too. We got stuck in a snow storm & had to come home a day later and she was there for us kindly continuing to watch our pets. 10/10 she’s fantastic!

Rosa was so wonderful with our dog. She walked him, played with him and made sure he was well fed, happy and safe. She communicated with us during or after each visit and even sent pictures of him having fun which gave us great peace of mind knowing he was being well cared for while we were away. I highly recommend her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
