About: There has never been a day in my life where I haven't had a dog, so I will love your dog like its my own. I have experience from training two of my own puppies to caring for my senior dogs. I have been pet sitting since I was 13 so I have a wide range of experience with different types of breeds, personalities, training, etc. I currently work part time during the daytime 11am - 4pm throughout the week so I'm available anytime in the evening or morning to help! I am a very loving person when it comes to pets, so I will do all the things your fur baby loves to do! Whether that's long walks, going to the park, playing with a frisbee, or just hanging out, I will do it! I want to make your pet the happiest it can be!

About: I've taken care of pets ever since I was a kid. When I was in high school, my family hosted dogs of all sizes, including one of my favorites, a Burnese Mountain Dog named Ruby. Lately I've had the chance to watch my brother's two dogs (as seen in my bio pics) when he travels. I work a semi-active full time job over the week, with plenty of energy to spare when I'm not working. I am fully available over the weekends from Friday evening straight through to Sunday! I also am free on weekdays for walks or drop-ins as long as it's before 7:30 am or after 5 pm. Your dog will stay in a cozy, smoke-free condo where they are welcome on the furniture and bed. While I don't have a yard, I love taking long, frequent walks around the neighborhood. For their comfort and safety, I host one family at a time and ask that owners provide the dog's preferred bed or crate if possible
About: As a lifelong dog owner, I’m always told I have a calm demeanor that keeps people and dogs feeling comfortable and stress free. Go enjoy your plans and feel confident that I am capable and experienced. As an experienced mom and a teacher, I’m ready to resolve problems and make logical decisions to keep your home and your beloved pets safe. I’m taking the leap to retire early from teaching, and my children are adults now so I am open and free to help you in anyway you need! Every dog and every home has different expectations to keep their pets comfortable and stress-free. I would stay at your house to care for your pets for as long as your dog needs, and fulfill any care requirements that your dog is used to when you yourself are home. I will play with and cuddle with your dog as much as they like and need!
“Rachel did a great job with my cats! She's very friendly and trustworthy and she got hugs from my cat on her first visit ☺️ I would absolutely recommend her and will book her again!”

About: We lost our cocker spaniel of 13 years about 2 years ago so I love to take care of dogs now that we don’t have a dog to pamper. We care for one dog at a time unless two dogs are siblings or good friends then that’s OK. I love to walk around Lake Ellyn Park nearby or just snuggle on the couch and chill with them. I realize how important your baby is to you and will give them love, companionship and special care. We love having a dog around. I’m retired and an empty nester so I am flexible and around all the time. I love to walk around Lake Ellyn Park and Glenbard West HS just down my street. We also like to sit on the front porch in the shade (gated) and watch the world go by. It’s a dead end street; so it’s very relaxed & chill. We are a few blocks from Main Street and town. We love hanging out in the back yard or the porch with our dog guests and take frequent walks.
About: I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, personalities and needs! I also have experience caring for felines and chinchillas! I am experienced in administering medications! I currently work from home but am available for short potty breaks in the Lombard area! Also available nights and weekends! I can also do house sitting! I have worked with people who have fenced in back yards and people who do not and utilize leads and am comfortable with either. I like to watch potty breaks, even if the yard is fenced in to making sure nothing is ingested outside!
“Britt was awesome and took great care of the dogs during her time there. It was a short notice for this booking and knowing the dogs were well taken care of while I was gone allowed me to have a great time away, all thanks to Britt. I was provided with updates during every visit and cannot say enough good things about her! Will 100% be booking with her for all my dog sitting needs”

“Great sitter for my cat! Jennifer left very thorough updates with multiple pictures which eased a lot of my nerves. Will definitely be using her in the future! Thank you Jennifer!! ?”

About: I have been a devoted dog owner for 13 years, raising both a German Shepherd and a Chihuahua Terrier mix from puppyhood. My two dogs are my world, and that same level of love and dedication is what I bring to every dog in my care. Over the years I’ve cared for dogs of all kinds — from my own pups to friends’, family members’, and others’ dogs — giving me a well-rounded understanding of different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have a special soft spot for senior dogs and understand the patience, attentiveness, and gentle care they need to feel safe and comfortable. Whether your dog is large or small, I’m experienced with both ends of the spectrum. My German Shepherd and Chihuahua mix are friendly and well-socialized, so your pup will have built-in companions during their stay. When your dog is with me, they’re not just being watched — they’re being loved. I work from home, I am here all day — which means your dog is never left alone for long. My senior dogs go out 3 to 4 times a day, and visiting dogs are welcome to follow that same routine or their own personal schedule. Every dog is different, and I make it a priority to honor whatever routine works best for yours. My home has a private fenced yard where dogs can play, explore, and relieve themselves safely. My own dogs have their own comfortable space, and any dog in my care is given a cozy, secure environment where they can truly relax. Whether your dog is large or small, energetic or easygoing, they will be treated like family from the moment they arrive. Because I work from home, I am here all day — which means your dog is never left alone for long. Every dog in my care follows their own schedule provided by their owner, including feeding times, medications, and any special instructions. I take those details seriously because I know how important routine is, especially for seniors. My home has a private fenced yard where dogs enjoy playtime and regular potty breaks throughout the day. When it’s time to wind down, your pup will have a warm, cozy space to relax and sleep comfortably. And to give you peace of mind while you’re away, I send photo updates so you always know your dog is happy and in good hands.
Glendale Heights dog parents share their Rover experiences
Thantita did an amazing job with Toby. I feel like because he’s dark and big he can scare people but he’s really just all looks. She was on the floor playing with him during the meet & greet and you could see he was relaxed around her. She also tended to my one cat that has tummy issues by feeding her canned food. She even added a little water to it to keep her hydrated. She sent really great pics every day too. We got stuck in a snow storm & had to come home a day later and she was there for us kindly continuing to watch our pets. 10/10 she’s fantastic!

Rosa was so wonderful with our dog. She walked him, played with him and made sure he was well fed, happy and safe. She communicated with us during or after each visit and even sent pictures of him having fun which gave us great peace of mind knowing he was being well cared for while we were away. I highly recommend her!
