About: We lost our cocker spaniel of 13 years about 2 years ago so I love to take care of dogs now that we don’t have a dog to pamper. We care for one dog at a time unless two dogs are siblings or good friends then that’s OK. I love to walk around Lake Ellyn Park nearby or just snuggle on the couch and chill with them. I realize how important your baby is to you and will give them love, companionship and special care. We love having a dog around. I’m retired and an empty nester so I am flexible and around all the time. I love to walk around Lake Ellyn Park and Glenbard West HS just down my street. We also like to sit on the front porch in the shade (gated) and watch the world go by. It’s a dead end street; so it’s very relaxed & chill. We are a few blocks from Main Street and town. We love hanging out in the back yard or the porch with our dog guests and take frequent walks.

About: I been taking of pets since in high school from my own to my neighbors. I love being around animals.it’s a joy to be able to care for pets. There will be at least 2-3 walks a day along side of taking them out to potty. Your pet will be teeter like part of the family , spoiling them with lots of goodies and love. I’m on leave from work so I have plenty of time to devote to your pet. I am up bright and early every day so I would be spending time with pets most of the day. I have teenager boys who love helping out with animals and being around them. I have back area where I can set areas of play up for pets.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. My journey in animal care started in 1993 when I began volunteering at a local shelter as a middle schooler. Since then, I’ve cared for pets through every life stage, from bottle-feeding kittens and puppies to providing senior care. In 2024, I began fostering with Adopt Me! Bluegrass Pet Rescue (who I've adopted 3 dogs from) and volunteering with WAGS, a Louisville therapy animal group, where I was a trained aide to handlers as they help bring comfort and smiles to the community through pet therapy. About: **For the house sitting part of the profile I cannot sleepover at the clients house due to health reasons but I can take the dog(s) out for breaks at anytime.** We have a rescue dog, who was untrained and very high anxiety when we rescued him. Now, he is a fun loving, good listening boy! I probably baby him too much, so if you are looking for someone to be uber strict, that's probably not us. We just want to give love when you're not able to. I am in school part time and I am only looking to take care of a few dogs, so I can work the schedules that they need. I have two dogs that I feed, bathe and train. I like to play with them and I can tell when she's about to get the "zoomies'" , so I play extra hard with her then. Of course I like to snuggle and pet any puppy!

About: I’ve taken care of up to 4 dogs at a time. I have 6 years of experience. I have taken care of senior dogs, aggressive dogs, and easy dogs. I have always been a dog person and love taking care of them! I will make sure your animals feel loved and safe when you are away. I am currently taking a break from a full time job to take care of my mom who recently had a minor stroke. My schedule is pretty open, and I will be able to work around taking care of her. I have a fenced yard for my dog. He is aggressive and pulls on walks but we are working on it and I am capable of making sure he still gets out for walks, I am in shape so this makes it possible for me to do. As far as in my clients home, I make sure to meet with them first before showing up to dog sit. I find this to be helpful. Of course this isn’t required but I am open to that. My main goal is to make sure the pets are feeling safe and happy when their owners are away. I take safety very seriously. Examples include making sure they don’t get into anything, and that they are secured both on walks and outside in the yard. I have never had a situation with dogs having to go to vet or getting out.
