I am a high-energy individual who loves all types of dogs! Rover is my first "official" platform, but I have been pet-sitting and caring for dogs since I was young. As I got older, I gained more responsibility and more training with the family dog. I have had a lot of experience with adopted dogs, young and old, and promise to provide the best care while you are away. My parent's current dog that I care for often also has given me experience with regular medication/monitoring health concerns while also providing superior care. If your dog loves to play outside, go for a run, soak in the sun and play tug of war (but also sneak a nap in too), I am your pet-sitter!

Safety, trust & environment
I will care for the pet's health concerns (including medication), make sure they have ample time outside (weather dependent) for potty time and exercise, and will care for their physical health if requested (ie brush coat or give bath). I will ask about how they interact with other dogs, people, animals so I can protect your pet and keep them safe.

We had the absolute best experience with Michaela and truly can’t recommend her enough. We were out of town for our wedding, and knowing our two dogs were in such caring, capable hands gave us so much peace of mind. She went above and beyond in every way—taking our dogs on runs to keep them active and happy, sending us frequent pictures and videos so we could stay connected, and even taking the time to vacuum and keep our home clean while we were away. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected touch, especially during such a busy and meaningful time in our lives. It’s clear how much she genuinely cares, not just about pets but about the people they’re helping, too. We came home to two very happy, well-exercised dogs and a spotless house. We are so grateful and would absolutely trust her again without hesitation!
Michaela was wonderful. Our dog was happy and content when we got home. We got pictures and updates every day and it was so nice to go away and know Ruby was well cared for. Michaela stayed with Ruby in our house and didn’t even seem to mind Ruby hogging the bed. The house was well cared for also. We will definitely look to use Michaela again for future trips.
Michaela stepped in at the last minute to help us out! She communicated and asked questions beforehand and took lots of pictures and gave a great report afterward. I highly recommend her.

Schedule
I am currently a fitness coach that works non-normal hours, so I can spend time with your furry baby during the day! I can also stay long hours overnight if needed to keep your pet relaxed while you are away. Depending on the day, your pet could be alone for 4-8 hours a day with me.
