“the perfect place for a pup! my dog seemed to have the most fun time and was immediately snuggling with the family :) they made him (and myself) feel so comfortable and safe! I will definitely be coming back :)”

“Absolutely without a doubt one of the best cat sitters we have EVER had. Amberley and her husband Matt went above and beyond to slowly introduce my cats to their new surroundings - to the point where they were sleeping with the cats in a separate room to ensure their comfort and care. They went above and beyond a normal “sitter” service. I would 100% recommend them without hesitation. Communication, pictures, etc. were all consistent, prompt and reassuring. Thank you Amberley and Matt!?”

“Valentina took such great care of our dog while we were away. She kept us updated daily with pictures and made sure he had plenty of fun. We would highly recommend Valentina to other pet owners, as she is very knowledgeable and clearly loves what she does!”

“Arielle was wonderful with Charlie! She kept me updated, took great care of him, and made sure he felt comfortable. I really appreciate her kindness and patience. Highly recommend!”

“Patricia took great care of Tess for us! She was very communicative and send lots of updates. Tess came home happy and healthy! We would definitely ask Patricia to help us with Tess again”

“Sarah was excellent! She sent us photos and updates of our dog Gus while we were out of the country for two weeks. She was understanding and able to care for our senior dog with special needs. Would highly recommend!”

“Yoda came home very content. By the pictures Amanda and Anton sent he looked like he was getting spoiled and was happy about it. They did a wonderful job taking care of Yoda”

“Lynda took good care of our 14-year-old girl while we were out of town for a week. Lulu immediately took to Lynda, which isn’t a given due to her advanced age. Lulu also has some age-related special needs. Lynda’s home is pretty ideal for accommodating a senior dog. Her backyard is fully fenced. Lulu was lucky to find Lynda and enjoyed her stay.”
“I recommend Britanny a million times. From drop off to pickup she was very communicative sending pictures almost every day. She babied him and showed him love. My pup couldn’t have been in better hands. A+++ experience. Thank you Britanny and family.”

“Robert looked after my dog Loki really well. He sent daily updates with photos and videos to keep us informed. Loki had fun during his stay. I’ll definitely be using his services for future needs.”

“We really appreciate Matt and Michelle taking such good care of Lucky for us during our wedding and honeymoon trip. They provided frequent updates and photos, we could tell Lucky became a part of their family and felt comfortable. Would absolutely book again!”

“Nina has a gentle way with dogs. Nina works with my dog, Nella when Nella boards with Nina. Nella is always a little better behaved after I pick her up. Nina shows a level of care and concerned that is unmatched. I feel comfortable that Nella is getting great care when I'm away. A wonderful place to board my dog.”

“Bonnie and her entire family (humans and dogs) were awesome with Bodhi. At only 4 months old, I needed to find someone who would be willing to take on a puppy and its needs, while also providing a stimulating environment for his development - Bodhi especially has a new friend in Lucy! From our initial communication to the meet-and-greet, I immediately felt at ease knowing that he would receive the proper care, attention, and love. And given his stay was during a holiday weekend, Bonnie was great with updates (she takes great pictures) and flexible on pick up day (THANK YOU Bonnie!). Bodhi will definitely be seeing Bonnie and her family in the future, again!”

“So happy with Kaya’s stay at Elise’s house. Her dog and Kaya got along so well. Elise provided us updates throughout the stay, which put us at ease. Definitely coming back for more stays! Highly recommend”

“We had such an amazing experience booking our dog sitting with Ashley. She was very kind and sweet with our dog, and was very easy to keep in contact with - she responded very quickly with updates on how our dog was doing, and sent plenty of pictures. We will definitely book with her again in the future, and highly recommend her!”

“Kim took awesome care of Doodle. This was his first time staying with anyone but family. He was well cared for. Kim relieved my fears he had relaxed and was settling in there.”

About: I've taken care of pets ever since I was a kid. When I was in high school, my family hosted dogs of all sizes, including one of my favorites, a Burnese Mountain Dog named Ruby. Lately I've had the chance to watch my brother's two dogs (as seen in my bio pics) when he travels. I work a semi-active full time job over the week, with plenty of energy to spare when I'm not working. I am fully available over the weekends from Friday evening straight through to Sunday! I also am free on weekdays for walks or drop-ins as long as it's before 7:30 am or after 5 pm. Your dog will stay in a cozy, smoke-free condo where they are welcome on the furniture and bed. While I don't have a yard, I love taking long, frequent walks around the neighborhood. For their comfort and safety, I host one family at a time and ask that owners provide the dog's preferred bed or crate if possible
“Judy was wonderful! We have a Maltese Bella and this was the 1st time we left her with anyone, by the photos Judy sent me, Bella had a great time! She was very well taken care of! Judy kept in touch with us, sent photos, and responded so quickly! I just can't say enough! I would highly recommend her to anyone! We will definitely use her again! Thank you so much Judy for taking such good care of our little girl!”

“First time Willie spent time with Robynn. What an amazing experience!! Robynn was very communicative and sent pictures, videos and texts throughout the stay. She has an amazing way with dogs and it is very evident she loves what she does. Highly recommend - the best!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Glendale Heights
David and Susan, very ably assisted by their son Jackson, took wonderful care of our 8-month old puppy on his recent 2 day stay. They were caring, attentive and communicative with us during our puppy's first stay away from home. We highly recommend them and hope they are available the next time we need a place for our dog to stay.

5 Stars for Harrison 😀. Benny has alot of care instructions and Harrison followed all the instructions perfectly. At the meet and greet Harrison asked so many good questions regarding Bennys care. Harrison was very attentive to Benny’s special needs and sent updates multiple times a day with photos which was greatly appreciated. I can tell Benny felt at ease with Harrison and would be looking to book with Harrison for future dates. So happy we found Harrison on Rover who met our every need for our Benny. Thanks Harrison!!

Great first stay for Bingo. Robert was very willing to work with Bingo to make her feel part of the pack. The daily updates showed how she was enjoying her stay and making new friends. We know Bingo will be happy and well cared for when staying with Robert, Percy and Teddy.

Edgar helped us out last minute. He communicated during the entire two night stay, provided lots of pictures and updates and was patient and understanding with our dog since this was the first time we had left him with someone else. We appreciated everything he did for our dog and can’t recommend him enough! Thank you Edgar and his kids for loving our dog while we were gone!

Ashley was incredible! She sent an update with pictures every evening so we knew what they were up to and gave peace of mind while missing our girl. She was so attentive to Winnie - Let us know when her ear seemed to bother her and was down to clean her ears and offered to go purchase solution if needed. She checked with us prior to be sure Winnie could have a piece of Thanksgiving turkey and even got her a special toy during her own errand run which she still carries around. Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! Would recommend to anyone!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
