Cat and Dog Loving Family at Home
My wife, son and I have taken care of pets our entire lives. Currently, we have only one elderly cat with special medical needs. Recently retired, we would love to adopt a dog but our frequent travel (to visit grandchildren) makes that a challenge. That travel helps us understand the stress and anxiety of leaving a pet in the care of others. We enjoy walking and playing with dogs (and cats!) and enjoy being in our yard, which opens to a field in the back, perfect for fetch. We will fill the day with a lot of activity and attention in a safe and secure environment.

David and Susan, very ably assisted by their son Jackson, took wonderful care of our 8-month old puppy on his recent 2 day stay. They were caring, attentive and communicative with us during our puppy's first stay away from home. We highly recommend them and hope they are available the next time we need a place for our dog to stay.

Great people who took excellent care of our 12 year old Pyrenese mix, Bucee. We were very anxious as it was our first time leaving our senior, XL dog with another family. David and Susan put our worries to rest immediate upon meeting them and them meeting Buc. Great communication and very accommodating!

Schedule
We are home full time and will have plenty of opportunity for walks, play time and potty breaks. During the school year, but my wife and I are home... and in summer months, our young-adult son will help as well.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a spacious yard but it is not fenced so we would keep your dog on a long leash while outside. At night, we can easily crate, depending on the pet-parents preferences.

A typical day
We like to wake early and start the day with a walk. We will play the pet, garden while they hang out in the yard, and make sure the pets gets plenty of attention and stimulation.
