Hi! My name is Katie, and I’m a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet caregiver. I’m a stay-at-home mom to two kids, ages 8 and 11. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, I spent many years working at the Humane Society, where I gained extensive hands on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, personalities, and backgrounds. I worked in a busy kennel environment with multiple dogs at a time, including dogs with medical needs, behavioral challenges, and difficult past experiences. I’m excited to be back on Rover after taking several years away to raise my two kids! Now that they’re both in school full time, I’m happy to have more time to get back to doing what I love, caring for animals. Our family has always been passionate about rescue animals. Over the past few years, we sadly lost our three senior rescue dogs and our senior rescue cat, all of whom were very loved members of our family. We now have one sweet, outgoing rescue cat, who is an important part of our family. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I believe in patience, kindness, and positive reinforcement, and I take the time to get to know each animal as an individual. I’m comfortable working with everything from energetic, playful pups to shy, nervous, senior, or special needs pets. What I Offer I’m home most of the day, so your pet will rarely be left alone while in my care. My schedule is also very flexible for walks and drop in visits. I offer: ● Dog walks ● Drop in/home visits ● Playtime and enrichment ● Feeding and fresh water ● Medication and special care routines when needed ● Plenty of attention, affection, and companionship Whether your pup needs a quick walk around the neighborhood, a longer adventure, some playtime, or simply a little company while you’re away, I’m happy to help! A Little About My Family My husband and I are huge animal lovers, and our pets have always been part of the family. Our two children have grown up around rescue animals and have learned to be gentle, respectful, and loving toward them. Our pets have always been treated as family with lots of walks, adventures, training, playtime, and plenty of love. I understand how difficult it can be to leave your pets in someone else’s care, and my goal is to make you feel completely comfortable knowing they are safe, cared for, and getting plenty of attention while you’re away.
