About: I’ve done 30+ volunteer hours working with animals, so I take animal care seriously. * I’ve spent time volunteering with animals, including cats and dogs, and I’m comfortable around all of them. * Over 30 volunteer hours means I’ve learned how to safely and patiently work with different types of animals. * I have experience with animal care and understand that each pet has its own personality and needs. * My volunteer work has helped me get better at handling and caring for cats and dogs with patience and respect. It’s currently summer, so I’m free basically every day and have a very flexible schedule. I’m able to provide care throughout the week and adjust as needed. On Saturdays and Sundays, I work part time as a pizza worker for about 4 hours, but I can still be available before or after my shifts depending on the timing. The rest of the week I have full availability for pet care and walks. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow their routine as closely as possible so the pet feels comfortable and safe. I make sure they are fed on time, have fresh water, get plenty of attention, and are walked or played with depending on their needs. I pay close attention to their behavior so I can notice if anything seems off. I also make sure the home stays clean and everything is left how I found it. Most importantly, I treat every pet with patience, care, and respect as if they were my own.

I am able to take care of your pet before and after work. I can stop by my apartment on my lunch break and take care of your pet, if needed. I do not work on weekends. My apartment has a dog park, but I do like going on long walks. Play time is essential. Giving treats as a reward for training.

About: I am a high-energy individual who loves all types of dogs! Rover is my first "official" platform, but I have been pet-sitting and caring for dogs since I was young. As I got older, I gained more responsibility and more training with the family dog. I have had a lot of experience with adopted dogs, young and old, and promise to provide the best care while you are away. My parent's current dog that I care for often also has given me experience with regular medication/monitoring health concerns while also providing superior care. If your dog loves to play outside, go for a run, soak in the sun and play tug of war (but also sneak a nap in too), I am your pet-sitter! I am currently a fitness coach that works non-normal hours, so I can spend time with your furry baby during the day! I can also stay long hours overnight if needed to keep your pet relaxed while you are away. Depending on the day, your pet could be alone for 4-8 hours a day with me. I will care for the pet's health concerns (including medication), make sure they have ample time outside (weather dependent) for potty time and exercise, and will care for their physical health if requested (ie brush coat or give bath). I will ask about how they interact with other dogs, people, animals so I can protect your pet and keep them safe.

About: As a current cat mom to Allie (9 yrs old), and a former senior-dog mom to Flo (16 yrs old), I do everything I can to keep my girl happy and cared for. I pay close attention to her behavior and requests to get to know what she needs so I can help her quickly, and so she knows she can rely on me. I do the same for all the pets I care for. I have lots of experience looking after senior dogs and cats with different temperaments, disabilities, and special care requirements (such as limited mobility, difficulty walking, and oral medications). I pay attention to their behavior and condition, and update the owners immediately if something seems off or unusual. I work freelance and part time, so am typically available all throughout the week (and I keep regular calendar updates on Rover). Currently my Thursdays are booked from 2 - 8 pm, but feel free to message me anyway and I'll see what I can do to be there for you! I typically house-sit or do drop in visits, but am open to other requests. I will follow instructions and am respectful of the owner's property and possessions. For in-house or overnight sitting, I bring my provisions and am very comfortable sleeping on the couch. I'm always available to contact for updates or concerns. Boarding facilities can be stressful for pets and I love to see them thrive in the comfort of their own home. I’ve been a veterinary technician assistant for 7+ years. I cannot wait to give your dog the attention you want them to have while you’re away! I promise to take care of yours just like they are mine. Sometimes my work schedule is different so I’m available after 4 or after 8. It varies week to week. I can always let pets out for potty breaks while I’m on my break as well as long as your in a 10 minute radius from my work in south wheaton. Il. I love to go on walks and give your pet exercise and let them run out their energy. Experience with puppies and senior dogs! I am a huge advocate of accepting all dogs regardless of their breed.
