She is extremely communicative and sends contact card photos at every check-in, which helped the time away not be as difficult. My senior cat has a pretty strict eating schedule and Mya was always punctual during the time frame we discussed, likely even on her days off. Mya went above and beyond when she noticed some ants in the house, she responded quickly by letting me know, and handled it with ease. About: I’ve cared for all sorts of animals from horses to hamsters and everything in between. Personally, I’ve had dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, and fish. My experience with birds is more limited. However, I do have some experience handling and caring for them via my job as a pet counselor at Petland where I specialized in caring for small mammals and birds and helped pet parents decide on care/products. I was later a kennel technician for Petland. Furthermore, I have experience working with aggressive/anxious dogs. Finally, two of my volunteer experiences involved animals, the first was Casey’s Save Haven horse rescue and the second is Wings and Talons working with ambassador birds of prey! I have class on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I can drop by between/after class on those days. On Sunday I start volunteering at 1pm and usually don’t get off until 4 or 5, but again I am available before or after that! For more info on my school schedule, just message me. I will permanently update it after I know my 2026 schedule. I cannot do in home care due to the people and pets that I live with, however, I can do any outside care like home visits and dog walking!

About: For as long as I can remember, we've had cats in our house. I consider cats to be the most amazing creatures in the world. I admire them and I understand them. For several years, I've been taking care not only of my own cat, but also of other furry friends. I know how to help a cat after surgery. And I know how to cheer up a cat when it misses its family. I can also take a cat for a walk in a way that allows it to enjoy the grass and the sunshine. I can come to your cat in the morning and evening to feed her, clean her litter box, and play with her. The intensity of the games and the amount of time I spend with her will depend on the cat's personality. I know how much cats love their home and value their own space. And how difficult it is for cats to be outside their dwelling. That's why I prefer to go to the cat's home so that it experiences less stress.

Before he recently passed, I cared for my dog Blue for the last 9 years, and have developed a very effective care approach that prioritizes safety, comfort, and overall well-being. Clear communication with pet owners is a priority of mine, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly. I am commitment to creating a stress-free environment to establish trust with your pet. I work remotely full-time, and can commit to drop ins during the week depending on proximity to my home. I can also do house-sittings as needed. I am also available on the weekends! My care approach is built around making sure the pet feels safe and comfortable. Owning a reactive dog myself means I am constantly assessing our surroundings for triggers while also monitoring their attention and interests. This means that your pet's needs will always be top of mind, and their comfort and trust my number one priority.
