“Thanks for all your help, Doreen! It seems like the two of you got along well. Ginger seemed like a happy, healthy kitty after my short weekend away,,, it was almost like I never left. :) I appreciate that you were on time for the visits and the pictures of the play time were great!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my entire life and understand their needs and routines. I offer loving, reliable pet sitting and walking, with playtime, feeding, and companionship. I’m available most afternoons and weekends to give your pet quality care and attention. I have a full-time job, my availability is after 3:30 every day. Saturday and Sunday over night and mornings too. Sometimes over nights during the week. I lived in a townhouse , I had dogs and cats, they lived happily ever before and they were always loved by me and my kids

“Jaymie was great with my boys! I took my first vacation away from them and Jaymie made sure to give them all the love while I was gone. Will definitely book with her again!”
“Our 1 cat is difficult to pill and is not friendly. Jennifer not only managed to medicate Zoe.. she also got head bumps and purrs. Our cats also have to stay separated which she also managed to do. I truly appreciated the daily updates and pictures that were sent every day. Jennifer is worth more them 5 stars.. she is a gem in the pet sitting business and we wouldn’t hesitate to have her take care of Zoe and Dennis when we need her again! First time we have tried Rover the result was more than a great experience!!”

“Taylor took good care of our kitties and sent us photos! She communicates and takes instruction very well. The cats were very happy and well-kept when we got home, and they seemed to take a liking to her, which was very important to us!”

“Mya did an absolutely wonderful job taking care of my sweet senior cat. She is extremely communicative and sends contact card photos at every check-in, which helped the time away not be as difficult. My senior cat has a pretty strict eating schedule and Mya was always punctual during the time frame we discussed, likely even on her days off. Mya went above and beyond when she noticed some ants in the house, she responded quickly by letting me know, and handled it with ease. Anyone who is able to book with Mya wont be disappointed and I look forward to booking with her again in the future!”

About: I’ve cared for all sorts of animals from horses to hamsters and everything in between. Personally, I’ve had dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, and fish. My experience with birds is more limited. However, I do have some experience handling and caring for them via my job as a pet counselor at Petland where I specialized in caring for small mammals and birds and helped pet parents decide on care/products. I was later a kennel technician for Petland. Furthermore, I have experience working with aggressive/anxious dogs. Finally, two of my volunteer experiences involved animals, the first was Casey’s Save Haven horse rescue and the second is Wings and Talons working with ambassador birds of prey! I have class on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I can drop by between/after class on those days. On Sunday I start volunteering at 1pm and usually don’t get off until 4 or 5, but again I am available before or after that! For more info on my school schedule, just message me. I will permanently update it after I know my 2026 schedule. I cannot do in home care due to the people and pets that I live with, however, I can do any outside care like home visits and dog walking!
“Maite was absolutely wonderful! She watched our two dogs (pitbull and chihuhua/pug) while we were away. She had great communication and sent videos and so many photos of our pups! I loved seeing them happy and could tell they were being well taken care of. Maite is very sweet and caring. We will definitely be reaching out to her again to watch our dogs!!!”

“Caroline came and went according to schedule. The cats were fed and watered. She was conscientious about the litter robot even though it needed no attention during my absence. Caroline was efficient and prompt. She sent me adorable photos during each visit. She even brought in packages/mail at the last minute even though we did not discuss this before I left. My cats were well fed and happy to see me when I returned home. I will definitely have Caroline take care of my pets again.”

About: For as long as I can remember, we've had cats in our house. I consider cats to be the most amazing creatures in the world. I admire them and I understand them. For several years, I've been taking care not only of my own cat, but also of other furry friends. I know how to help a cat after surgery. And I know how to cheer up a cat when it misses its family. I can also take a cat for a walk in a way that allows it to enjoy the grass and the sunshine. I can come to your cat in the morning and evening to feed her, clean her litter box, and play with her. The intensity of the games and the amount of time I spend with her will depend on the cat's personality. I know how much cats love their home and value their own space. And how difficult it is for cats to be outside their dwelling. That's why I prefer to go to the cat's home so that it experiences less stress.
About: I have been around dogs my entire life, and as a result bring a wealth of experience that includes a deep understanding of canine behavior and a genuine love for our furry companions. Before he recently passed, I cared for my dog Blue for the last 9 years, and have developed a very effective care approach that prioritizes safety, comfort, and overall well-being. Achieving this required adapting to my dog's unique personality, ensuring that routines are maintained, and accommodating any special needs or preferences that might arise. I cannot wait to bring this same level of attention and care to your pet! I incorporate interactive play, stimulating exercises, and most of all engaging walks to keep the dog both physically and mentally stimulated. Clear communication with pet owners is a priority of mine, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly. I am commitment to creating a stress-free environment to establish trust with your pet. I work remotely full-time, and can commit to drop ins during the week depending on proximity to my home. I can also do house-sittings as needed. I am also available on the weekends! My care approach is built around making sure the pet feels safe and comfortable. Owning a reactive dog myself means I am constantly assessing our surroundings for triggers while also monitoring their attention and interests. This means that your pet's needs will always be top of mind, and their comfort and trust my number one priority.
“Romana did an excellent job taking care of my cats during the 4th of July holiday. She was very attentive at checking on them, especially during the loud fireworks and Archimedes was scared. She sent photos and updates. Did a great job.”
“Pets were well taken care of. He shared pictures (but I did not receive the written reports the sitters usually share after every visit). He helped as possible with cleaning poop/throw up my puppy left around the house. Quick to reply to my text messages.”

“Eleanor was attentive to both my cats. They were promptly fed, their water checked, litterbox cleaned, and they even got some playtime. Even my timid cat warmed up to her which is great. She was so nice and communicative, I'd definitely recommend her.”

“Paula did a great job with our two babies. We loved that she came onboard at the very last minute to help us. I tipped her, in gratitude, at the beginning. She’s terrific!!”

Hanover Park cat parents share their Rover experiences
I’m very happy to have found Doreen as a cat sitter. She visits once a day and is reliable, thoughtful, and clearly cares about animals. She even feeds the few feral cats who have taken up residence on my back deck and includes photos of them in her updates. One of my cats is extremely difficult and dislikes just about everyone, but he clearly tolerates her (which is very high praise) and is always waiting for his food when she arrives. My other cat requires two pills daily, and she has no trouble giving them to him.
Jen took wonderful care of my two cats while I was away! I received daily updates and pictures, which really put my mind at ease. She arrived around the same time each day, kept them on their feeding schedule, and made sure they were comfortable and cared for. Both of my cats were happy, healthy, and relaxed when I came home. I really appreciated the consistency and communication, everything went smoothly. Would definitely book again!

Faatima was wonderful with our cats, and from pictures alone we know they were comfortable and enjoyed her. We could tell at the meet and great the genuine care she would have for them. Her communication has been thorough and very timely throughout the process. We have already booked another visit with her.

Mya is always so fantastic with Prince! He is currently struggling with allergies and was standoff-ish and wanting to be left alone, at the beginning. However, Mya is extremely patient and understanding, and she allowed him to have his space. Of course, Prince’s mood shifted and he came around! Thank you, Mya!

We recently moved to knew area, which meant getting a new pet setter. We felt completely at ease from the moment we met Amithyst. / She did a good job checking in on the cats every other day while we were out of town. Also she responded promptly when texted. / We’ll definitely use her services again.
