About: We've used Rover for years for our Zoey. It has always been great to know she is safe and happy when we're away. We want to provide that same relief when you need to be away from your furry friend. We've had dogs for 20 years and that doesn't even count the pets we had growing up. We will provide your dog with all the comforts of home including a big fenced in yard. Although I normally work outside of the house, my husband James works from home and our daughter lives here while in college. That means lots of love and care for your doggies throughout the day. Safety is our top priority so you can feel confident in leaving your pet in our care. We have a large, fenced in yard. We understand anxious pets because we have one! We promise pictures and updates (if that's what you'd like!)
About: I have been taking care of dogs ranging from a few lbs to 100+ lbs for years! I have also been caring for different types of cats just as long :) Growing up we always had a dog in the house, so that has made me super comfortable to be around them. Whether I’m walking, feeding, cleaning, or administering medication, I am definitely not afraid of the job! I am a proud mama of 2 cats named Archie and Simon. They are my absolute world! I will make sure to give your pets the same care, caution, attention, and love I give my boys! Pet care has always been a passion of mine. In fact, I went to school for it! Although I did not end up pursuing my desire to become a veterinarian, I still try to incorporate that love for animals in my day to day life! I have an extremely flexible work schedule that allows me to almost work fully remote. I would be able to stop over at the house pretty much whenever you need me to. My work set up also allows me to work anywhere if needed. My weekends are almost always open as well! I will always make sure to talk through your expectations to ensure you are comfortable with the nature of each type of visit. I typically would not host any pets in our home. We have a fenced in backyard and several spaces; however, I would not want to put your pet or my cats in an uncomfortable space. At a clients home, I am more than comfortable with backyard access, crate training, cleaning litter boxes, accessing food/water, and any other requirements for the visit! (Totally fine bringing in mail/watering plants!) I will only access the spaces you need me to. I am also fine spending the night if needed. That would be something we could discuss case by case!
About: I volunteer at the Anderson Human Society doing doggy days out, and have years of experience pet sitting dogs and cats. I have my own senior cat that i’ve raised for 13 years! Currently I generally work full time mornings and have time in the afternoon evenings for walks and play time! Days off are open for as much time as needed! About: I've taken care of cats and dogs since I was 8 years old. I figured out at a young age they can help heal the human spirit. I wanted to be like them and heal people so I became a nurse. While working as a home health nurse my patients' pets would get a visit from me too. Now I'm retired from nursing and freelancing. My experience is very diverse and I am hardworking. My schedule is very flexible. I'm available 7 days a week. I'm also available for holidays. I can do early morning walks, mid day, afternoon and evenings rain or shine. Sophia took such great care of our cats while we were away. Our kitten gets medication morning and night, and she handled it perfectly every visit. She also kept their water full, cleaned all of the litter boxes, and still made sure to spend quality time with them instead of just checking the boxes and leaving. Her updates were one of my favorite parts. They were detailed, authentic, and full of pictures that made us feel like we knew exactly how the cats were doing. You can genuinely tell she cares about the pets she’s watching, and that kind of peace of mind is priceless when you’re away from home. We came home to two happy, relaxed cats, and I honestly don’t think we could’ve asked for a better sitter. We’ll definitely be booking with Sophia again!
She went above and beyond with communicating how my elderly cat was doing while we were away. She let me know when my cat had a hard time walking/getting up and when she was doing better. She was also willing to help my cat with her mobility issues. I was very nervous about leaving my 18.5 yr old cat alone, but this communication helped tremendously. I was able to rest assured that my cat was being very well taken care of.
We had a small glitch Saturday am. Sitter Didn’t make it until noon to see my cat. Should have been around 9am stop. As soon as I contacted Ashley she apologized and ran over to feed Lola & give her meds. No worries after that. She gave very good details & pictures of how after every drop in went. Lola was well taken care of.
