About: I've cared for pets my whole life. I've kept aquariums, grew up with dogs, even raised two puppies in my time. Unfortunately I am allergic to cats and do not want to track dandruff home, so I will not be offering services for cats aside from drop ins. I'm a dad trying to be more active, make friends, and provide a service to the community. I love pets and I think they are an absolute blessing. For my fee I will actively exercise and play with your pets, teach them tricks or commands (if desired), and ensure they are pampered, engaged with, and given attention, rather than simply supervision. I'm currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule, so I can accommodate most requests. I would be happy to look after your family pet, no matter the occasion! How I care for your pet is entirely up to you, I will accommodate whichever preferences you may have. Every pet deserves to be played with, get exercise, and be well pampered. Rubs downs, brushing, bathing, I'm comfortable caring for your pet how you know best.

“Jamie was exceptional! We started with a meet and greet the week before with my new rescue dog Hera, and she was great with her knowing that she was very afraid of strangers. Hera had some stomach irritation 2 days before the booking and our vacation, and the first day Jamie came she let us know that Hera had gotten worse and was throwing up/had loose stool and should be taken to a vet. She was amazing with her communication and letting us know everything that was going on. We got a friend to take her to the vet and get medication and Jamie continued her visits and administered the medication and hand fed Hera. She was so sweet with her and was very understanding of the situation and even had to do some extra clean up of Hera that was not planned for. We would definitely recommend Jamie and would use her again with no question.”

About: I grew up taking care of my 2 collies and helping out with family members pets. I am experienced with managing large breeds and high energy dogs. I am currently on summer break from university, so I have a lot more free time. I am available on weekdays after 11 and weekends I have full availability. Safety is my top priority. I treat every pet as my own, maintaining a calm, clean, and safe environment. Ahead of time, I ask about any triggers your pet may have and make sure we walk in comfortable environments.

About: I love animals. I used to have three Shar Peis, which can be fairly temperamental, but I think I was their favorite walker. I've walked dogs with Wag for years and have cared for dogs ranging from tiny pups to large Anatolian Shepherds. I work from home most days, so having a dog or two in the house is not an issue. And, i don't mind sitting at other folks' homes, if the dogs are more comfortable in their own environment. I've recently fenced our backyard with a 6 foot privacy fence, so that visiting dogs will be secure during off-leash play. I live in a quiet neighborhood and there is a large park down the street, so walks can be quite lengthy, if the dog is up for it. I have a few chickens in a coop / run in the backyard. The app asks about my pets but then when I said ‘yes’ only allowed me to pick either ‘dog’ or ‘cat’ - and I couldn’t list birds so I couldn’t update it. 😕. Apparently Rover thinks there are only two kinds of animals??? Visits to the backyard are always supervised to keep everyone safe.

About: I’ve spent the past 5 years caring for my two dogs and truly treat them like family. I’m experienced with daily routines, walks, playtime, and lots of love and attention. I’m patient, gentle, and always focused on keeping pets happy, safe, and comfortable. 🐾💛 I currently have a full-time job and looking for a part-time during the weekends. I’ve helped train and care for dogs, including Collies and Hounds, with experience in basic obedience, leash walking, crate training, and puppy training. I enjoy walking dogs and providing enrichment to support their physical and mental well-being. I also love bathing dogs too! I have experience with a range of dog personalities, including puppies, senior dogs, and those with special needs, such as medication schedules or mobility considerations. I’m adaptable, patient, and willing to adjust my care style to fit each dog’s individual needs. I try and build my routine that balances and fits my dog and me! This includes daily walks, 10 minute sessions of training, playtime, and decompression time. I also give snuggle and cuddle time, but only if the dog I work with initiates. I also love giving my dog a well balanced diet and hydration especially in this hot weather. I also believe that a dogs world is as big as we allow, and so I love bringing dogs to new adventures, like hiking or a day at the beach. I try to include these at least weekly or bi-weekly. I also love having doggie play dates, and have some minor experience with dogs meeting for the first time! I currently live in an apartment, so I only service for home visits and walking right now. I’m familiar with fenced or semi fenced yards and crating. I have my own dog that I love taking out for walks and training, so if you don’t have a yard that isn’t an issue! I work great when I’m giving instructions in writing or verbal that best helps your doggie!
