“Katelyn did a fantastic job. She did a great job with my dog, Morgan, and went the extra mile to make sure she had water in her bowl before leaving. Our dog has a hard time going to the bathroom with new people, but she went both with Katelyn. 5 stars and will book her again :)”

About: My family and I love dogs. We also love cats, but unfortunately I’m allergic to them. We’ve raised three dogs over the years and currently have a 4-year-old Golden Retriever named Jax. I pretty much work from home and have a 4 year old Golden Retreiver named Jax so our routine is already made for a dog. I have a fenced in back yard. Your dog will have a playmate in Jax. I enjoy going out and playing fetch with Jax although he's not much of a fetch guy. He enjoys me faking like I'm going to chase him and then he gets the zoomies and runs around the yard like a crazy boy.

About: Dog sitting is new to me, but my love for dogs is not. After recently losing my own dog, I felt called to give back the same unconditional love he gave me. I provide calm, loving, and reliable care, creating a safe and comforting environment for every pup. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Although I work full time, I’m able to step away throughout the day for check-ins, cuddles, potty breaks, and quality time. Mornings, evenings, and breaks are fully dedicated to making sure each dog feels comfortable, loved, and cared for. I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and loved. I follow feeding and care instructions closely, provide regular potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles, and make sure they feel secure in their environment. My goal is always for pets to feel at ease and cared for, just like family.
“Jessica did an amazing job walking my pitbull! She was punctual, professional, and clearly experienced with handling dogs. My pup came back happy and well-exercised. She was also very communicative, giving me updates during the walk, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Jessica to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Cameron has been a pleasure to work with. She's very friendly, communicative, punctual, and accommodating. Best part of all, she lives close by. We'll definitely be booking with her again. Thanks, Cameron!”

“Heather was wonderful and made my first experience with Rover an absolute breeze. She communicated well, was extremely kind and took great care of my boy Hank. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Wendy has been walking my puppy, Missy, three days a week for 30 minutes each time, and she’s been wonderful. Missy always comes back happy and relaxed after their walks. Missy is a diva and sometimes resists going out, but Wendy is always patient, kind, and understanding with her. I especially love the feedback and pictures Wendy shares after each walk—they give me a lot of comfort and peace knowing how Missy is doing. I’ve really appreciated the care and consistency she brings to every visit, and I hope to see her back in the spring.”

About: i’ve taken care of dogs since i was little so i know a bit about how to take care of them like walk feed and play with them i know they’re so playful currently i don’t have a job so i’m available all week and i love pets so much so i thought this would be fun to do. i have a cat she’s still a baby kinda she’s 5 months old she’s really playful and a chihuahua she’s on the older side she loves to nap and is unbothered by other pets

“Stephanie was amazing! She came over for a meet and greet on short notice and stayed for an hour to answer all of my questions, and meet my pup. She came over every day to walk her while I was away and my family was working. She even checked to make sure my dog was given her medicine and gave it to her if needed. I got messages/updates and pictures every day which really put me at ease. Not only did she take excellent care of my baby, but she also checked in on me to see how my trip was, which was really nice of her. Stephanie really went above and beyond just walking Charlie, she took the time to make sure she had everything she needed and gave her plenty of love. I will absolutely use her in the future!!”

About: What sets me apart is my 20 years of hands-on experience caring for my own childhood dog who is now a senior dog, giving me a strong understanding of patience, compassion, and specialized care for aging pets. I have an open and flexible schedule, so I’m happy to work around your routine and what’s best for you and your pet. Will adjust accordingly. I’ll stick to your pet’s usual routine and follow your instructions carefully, so they feel comfortable and at ease while you’re away. My priority is always your pet.
“Fred has been an absolute blessing to our family. Moochy like him immediately and trusted him. She’s usually pretty skittish. Fred was always on time, willing to be flexible if needed, and was just really good with Moochy. I needed someone who was strong to walk mooch because she’s big and strong. Fred had no trouble with it. I had absolute faith in Fred’s ability to handle her. And when Mooch saw his car pull up, she was so happy. I have no trouble recommending Fred to be your dog walker.”

About: I am 19 years old and I like to go by Leslie. Growing up on a farm along with multiple giant dogs, I've learned my fair share of pet care. Learning to handle and bathe dogs from the smallest Toy Poodle all the way to the largest Great Dane from volunteering. I specialize in dogs and am a former volunteer at Anderson Animal Shelter and Anderson's Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. I can sit for your pets almost any day! I provide a large yard for my dogs, a seperate room for my bird, frequent vet checkups, healthy diets, all day access to water and outdoors, moderated chewys and toys, and a personal dog cage for sleeping in at night. In a client's home, instructions and routines are taken very seriously, no matter how specific, to ensure that a pet is well taken care of at all times.

About: I only had family cats growing up, but when my 12-year-old daughter had a big loss in her life, I gave her a Yorkie puppy. Of course, I knew nothing but how to love that puppy, so I had to learn quickly. Yes, I learned about crating...and also not crating. I've learned that dog training is mostly about "training" the owner. And I've learned how you can be firm and serious...but not mean. Like...being a parent. I've watched enough dogs that when they stay or visit, my home's been named deemed a doggie camp. I've had senior dogs on medication or needing more sedate care, and crazy puppies who get the right things to chew. And for walks, we have a great neighborhood with sidewalks. While this is all "puppy" news, yes, I definitely know how to care for cats too. I believe cats need play and music or active noise usually as well - except at bed time. No animal wants to feel alone...and they never do with me. I usually work from home and manage my schedule, so periodic check-ins during the work days isn't difficult. I don't often travel, so evenings, weekends and home care is relatively simple within my schedule. Pets in my client's homes get a regular schedule for meals, wake time, and bed time. They get a balance of play time, brushing,...and snuggles. For dogs, they get walks and play - inside and out. When an owner is not around, animals are a little sadder, so I work to help minimize that sadness...and given them comfort and company.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
