About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for the last 7-8 years for my family, friends, and neighbors. They have trusted me with walking, feeding, and overall loving their furry friends! When my family first got our dog in 2020, I assisted in training him and learning how to take care of a puppy. I have also helped to take care of my roommates pet dog and cat in these last few months as well! During the summer of 2024, my dog suddenly went paralyzed and lost function of his back legs. We had to learn how to take care of him and walk him using unconventional ways, while teaching him how to learn to walk again, so I have experience with a dog who has been partially disabled (but he has regained his ability to walk and is doing great!!) I recently graduated from Miami University, Ohio with my masters degree in speech-language pathology. I just moved back to Illinois and am looking to do some dog walking and pet care/love this summer before starting a new job in the schools this upcoming August as a speech-language pathologist. I will adhere to any requests that the client has. I am willing to put them in their crates, give them treats, play with them in the yard, or go for a nice long walk with them. It really comes down to the clients preference and I will stick to their normal routine!!
About: I have taken care of animals for it seems like my whole life. I have experience administering medication both orally and through syringes and love to spoil dogs when walks and cuddles. I work for a school district so I my school day runs from 7:30-2:30, so no pet would be alone for long. I can do weekdays and weekends. I have experience going into someone’s home and watching their animals from there. I find it’s easier for on them when they are in their own home environment. About: I've cared for pets my whole life. I've kept aquariums, grew up with dogs, even raised two puppies in my time. Unfortunately I am allergic to cats and do not want to track dandruff home, so I will not be offering services for cats aside from drop ins. I'm a dad trying to be more active, make friends, and provide a service to the community. I love pets and I think they are an absolute blessing. For my fee I will actively exercise and play with your pets, teach them tricks or commands (if desired), and ensure they are pampered, engaged with, and given attention, rather than simply supervision. I'm currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule, so I can accommodate most requests. I would be happy to look after your family pet, no matter the occasion! How I care for your pet is entirely up to you, I will accommodate whichever preferences you may have. Every pet deserves to be played with, get exercise, and be well pampered. Rubs downs, brushing, bathing, I'm comfortable caring for your pet how you know best.
About: I love animals. I used to have three Shar Peis, which can be fairly temperamental, but I think I was their favorite walker. I've walked dogs with Wag for years and have cared for dogs ranging from tiny pups to large Anatolian Shepherds. I work from home most days, so having a dog or two in the house is not an issue. And, i don't mind sitting at other folks' homes, if the dogs are more comfortable in their own environment. I've recently fenced our backyard with a 6 foot privacy fence, so that visiting dogs will be secure during off-leash play. I live in a quiet neighborhood and there is a large park down the street, so walks can be quite lengthy, if the dog is up for it. I have a few chickens in a coop / run in the backyard. The app asks about my pets but then when I said ‘yes’ only allowed me to pick either ‘dog’ or ‘cat’ - and I couldn’t list birds so I couldn’t update it. 😕. Apparently Rover thinks there are only two kinds of animals??? Visits to the backyard are always supervised to keep everyone safe.
