“This was the first time that I had Isaac watch my dogs. I had him house/dog sit for me. I originally chose him because of his professionalism in our texting discussions and his promptness with returning messages. We had an initial meet and greet, which he was on time for, and the dogs seemed to like him right away. While I was gone, Isaac sent pictures and updates of how things were going. When I got home, I was amazed at how clean my house was. Typically when I get home from a trip there is dog fur everywhere because my dogs shed very badly. I usually tell my dog sitters where the vacuum is in case the hair starts to bother them, but I do not expect them to vacuum the house for me. However, I never mentioned any of this to Isaac, he just took it upon himself to vacuum the house. The blankets were folded nicely on the dog beds, and on the couch. He even got my mail out of the mailbox and left it sitting for me in the house. These were all extra things that I never asked of him, he just took the initiative to do these things on his own. It was nice coming home to a house I didn’t have to immediately vacuum! I can’t say enough good things about Isaac, I will definitely check with him first when I have to leave town again!”

About: I have been taking care of animals from a young age of 15. I grew up with a German shepherd which started my love for dogs. I use to volunteer at an animal shelter in Iowa when I was going to college. I would walk every single dog because it would break my heart to see them stuck in such a small space. I also rescued around 20 dogs, 50 cats, and one monkey when I was living overseas. I am very empathetic towards animals especially because they are such innocent beings. I also worked with different rescue groups overseas. I currently have 3 dogs I rescued from Peru South America. Their stories are pretty crazy but now they are living the dog dream. So I am very excited to work with animals! I am a stay at home mom looking to help owners with their pets. Having 3 dogs myself I know how necessary it is to have help! 1st I would like to come meet the pet first so we can create a trust. Then I would make sure they were comfortable in their home with plenty of food and water. I would just follow all the rules the owner has for me especially if there dog is on a specific diet. If it is okay with the owner also carry training treats with me for walks.

I currently work remote and spend most of the day with my own pup by my side. We go to the nearby dog park at least weekly, go on two 20-25 minute walks (1mi+) daily, and play regularly throughout the day. He is very friendly and happy to tag along for any walks or play times, if the company is welcomed. I have a large crate available, if needed, and an in ground stake in the front and back yard with 30ft leads attached, allowing for plenty of time outside in shaded and unshaded areas. Food bowls are cleaned after every meal and pet waste is cleaned up after every trip outside.

Our largest dog weighs 160 pounds and was so traumatized the last time we brought him to a bordering facility he didn’t stop crying for two weeks after we brought him home. Heather was so great with our senior dog. She stayed at our house and it was so nice to know our dog was cared for while we were gone. Our dog is not easy, she has mobility and potty issues and Heather handled her so well. She was very communicative while we were away, sent us daily updates and pictures.

Karlie was great with all 3 of our dogs. This was the first time I have ever used a service to take care of my dogs. Karlie came to my house twice before our trip to get to know the dogs, etc. You could tell Karlie is a "dog person" since I could tell the dogs liked her. That really helped us enjoy our vacation so much more knowing that they were in good hands. Karlie responded to text messages quickly. Got updates on dogs and pix while I was on vacation.
