“Maddie was great with my little handicapped dog! Sent update & pics of Loki while she was with him. Would definitely have her back any time! Thanks from Loki & June”

“Jessica and Luis were amazing with our 2 Australian Shepherds! They did numerous drops in while we were on vacation and handled walking, play time, snuggles and meal times. We were given a detailed pet intake form to fill out so they could learn about our dogs and their routines and any house rules. They were very friendly and handled all our requests. We were happy our dogs got to stay home and keep up with their routine and Jessica and Luis sent us lots of photos and videos throughout the day. They gave us peace of mind and we would absolutely use them again.”

“Jessica was amazing! She had to deal with an our dog who was a bit nervous with a nervous stomach. She dealt with a couple of accident clean ups and didn’t complain a bit! We were away for 5 days for our daughter’s wedding and felt so at ease that our puppy was well taken care of! Will definitely be using Jessica again!!”

“Rachael was very communicative & patient. She helped to alleviate any anxieties I had while traveling away from my senior cat. She sent lots of photos & kept me in the loop about my cat’s behavior, eating patterns, and overall mood. 10/10 service, glad i already have her booked for my next vacation!”

“Jennifer has been amazing - whether she’s walking my pooch or playing with her in the backyard, I feel completely relaxed knowing that Jennifer will be there to give my fur baby the time and attention she needs!”

About: As a firefighter, my entire career is built on safety, reliability, and handling high-stress situations with a calm, focused mind. I bring that exact same dedication to pet care. Whether your dog needs a high-energy workout, your cat prefers a quiet companion, or your pet requires strict medication schedules, you can rest easy knowing they are in highly capable hands. I have experience with our furry friends ranging from puppies with enough energy to power our houses to our senior dogs that need very specific special care instructions throughout the day. Whatever is needed to be provided throughout the day to your family, it will be delivered as if they were my own. Due to my firefighter shift schedule I typically have entire, unbroken days where I am 100% available to dedicate my time and energy to your furry family members. When not on shift there is nothing more I look forward to then spending time with animals. My profession requires a clean background, absolute integrity, and a high level of public trust. You can feel completely secure letting me into your home to care for your furry family members. I treat every member as if they were my own family, ensuring they get plenty of affection, exercise, and routine care no matter how meticulous. Being a professionally trained emergency responder any unexpected situation that arises you can have confidence will be handled in a calm and efficient manner.

I will meet you and them at your home so you can see how well we’ll get along. I will come to your house to take care of your cat. I will feed them, clean the litter box and if there are any hairballs. If they like to I will play with them and groom them.
About: I have loved animals—especially cats since childhood. They have been a part of my life all along. I had my own cat for 13 years and loved looking after and caring for him. For the time being, I don't work on certain days, so I can spend the whole day with your pet and give them all my love! I love showing affection and taking an interest in spending time with pets—whether at my own home or a client's because every animal deserves attention.

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was born. My first dog was a 100 pound German Shepard mix, then we got a miniature border collie mix, then a hound, and now we have a one year old german shepard belgian malinois. I have helped train and take care of all of our family dogs and we take our dogs on at least 2 walks a day! I can take care of any type of dog and I will of course love every animal I take care of. I have no problem picking up poop on walks! I would love to help you take care of your Dogs! I am currently a college student at Judson University studying Architecture. I would be able to take care of your pet before 7:45am and I am available during lunch time. I am also volleyball player and practices are normally from 4-6 so I would be able to go over after that. MWF I have class from 1-5 so I wouldn’t be able to go in that time frame and my volleyball games are normally Tuesday and Thursday nights which I could go over after those. I have a fenced in yard at my house but I also have energetic dogs so I take them on walks every day twice a day. They both love to play fetch and obviously they love to go on their daily walks. I can do anything from just letting them out and throwing the ball for them to walking around the block or even a mile. I am flexible with what kind of service your pet may need!
About: I've taken care of cats my whole life, and I know that each one has their own personalities. I'm patient, having taught my own cats basic commands that they generally listen to. I have experience with diabetic and senior felines as well. My experience doesn't stop with felines, though, I've cared for many kinds of animals over the years. Among them are snakes, rats, mice, hamsters, lizards, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, fresh water fish, small birds, and dogs. I work part time, but my ultimate goal is to make pet sitting my main career. I've always preferred being around and taking care of animals. I treat animals how I'd want to be treated if i was in their paws, and same with people and their property. Always leave a place as good or better than you found it.
“Samantha was great for taking care of Shelley while we went on a 4 day trip. She’s very knowledgeable on how to deal with our fur baby. We are gladly to recommend her to our friends in our neighborhood. She’s also on time to her schedule drop in visits. Thanks so much for an excellent job.”

“Not only is Karen just a lovely and super nice person, my shy cat came right up and introduced herself! That speaks volumes! She had respect for my place and even watered my plants!! Above and beyond. Highly recommended!”

“Khurum had great communication throughout his weekend checking in with our cat Lola. He was timely, and even spent extra time with her to try to get her to play, even though she isn't usually a toy cat. Coordination with key pickup and drop-off was also superb. We would book with Khurum again!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - East Dundee
We had such a great experience! Bella took great care of our cats, and made sure everything we asked was taken care of. She was also so helpful and accommodating with her schedule and always found a way to stop by and check on them. It gave us a lot of peace of mind knowing they were in good hands while we were away, especially with the photo updates. We really appreciated her help and would definitely recommend!

Eloise was amazing with my dog and cat and I know they are in such good hands with her! I really appreciate her flexibility and attention to detail with both of my babies and their various needs. I was able to fully enjoy my time away because I knew they were well taken care of. I will absolutely be booking with her again!

Zach did a fantastic job! I booked him to clean out for very dirty litter boxes and replace them with fresh letter. I was very impressed with his ability to get right to the work at hand, get the job done, and leave everything looking great. He was so fast, he had time to tackle one of two of the cats water fountains, which were also overdue for cleaning and refilling. My kitties will love that their favorite fountain is working again. Next time, he’ll tackle the other fountain and I have no doubt that that will be done efficiently as well. Thank you, Zach! Nice to meet you, and you’ll be number one on my call

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
