“Madeline was a complete lifesaver (maybe literally)! I recently had to go out of town for a funeral, and of course my 17 year old cat decided to pick that week to get sick. I messaged Maddie less than 24 hours before my flight left, totally convinced my cat wouldn't be here when I got back, but she responded almost immediately and set up a time to meet Gua. She then basically nursed my cat back to health, giving her food, water, and medication when I was out of town. I can't tell you how reassuring it was to know that there was someone reliable looking after my cat when I was in the midst of dealing with funeral planning. Plus, Maddie sent so many pictures and text updates that it basically felt like I never even left my cat. I can't recommend Maddie enough, and I fully intend to contact her the next time I need a pet sitter.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for the last 7-8 years for my family, friends, and neighbors. They have trusted me with walking, feeding, and overall loving their furry friends! When my family first got our dog in 2020, I assisted in training him and learning how to take care of a puppy. I have also helped to take care of my roommates pet dog and cat in these last few months as well! During the summer of 2024, my dog suddenly went paralyzed and lost function of his back legs. We had to learn how to take care of him and walk him using unconventional ways, while teaching him how to learn to walk again, so I have experience with a dog who has been partially disabled (but he has regained his ability to walk and is doing great!!) I recently graduated from Miami University, Ohio with my masters degree in speech-language pathology. I just moved back to Illinois and am looking to do some dog walking and pet care/love this summer before starting a new job in the schools this upcoming August as a speech-language pathologist. I will adhere to any requests that the client has. I am willing to put them in their crates, give them treats, play with them in the yard, or go for a nice long walk with them. It really comes down to the clients preference and I will stick to their normal routine!!

About: I've cared for pets my whole life. I've kept aquariums, grew up with dogs, even raised two puppies in my time. Unfortunately I am allergic to cats and do not want to track dandruff home, so I will not be offering services for cats aside from drop ins. I'm a dad trying to be more active, make friends, and provide a service to the community. I love pets and I think they are an absolute blessing. For my fee I will actively exercise and play with your pets, teach them tricks or commands (if desired), and ensure they are pampered, engaged with, and given attention, rather than simply supervision. About: I love animals. I used to have three Shar Peis, which can be fairly temperamental, but I think I was their favorite walker. I've walked dogs with Wag for years and have cared for dogs ranging from tiny pups to large Anatolian Shepherds. I work from home most days, so having a dog or two in the house is not an issue. And, i don't mind sitting at other folks' homes, if the dogs are more comfortable in their own environment. I've recently fenced our backyard with a 6 foot privacy fence, so that visiting dogs will be secure during off-leash play. I live in a quiet neighborhood and there is a large park down the street, so walks can be quite lengthy, if the dog is up for it. I have a few chickens in a coop / run in the backyard. The app asks about my pets but then when I said ‘yes’ only allowed me to pick either ‘dog’ or ‘cat’ - and I couldn’t list birds so I couldn’t update it. 😕. Apparently Rover thinks there are only two kinds of animals??? Visits to the backyard are always supervised to keep everyone safe.

About: I've been taking care of dogs I was 10 years old! I had my own little dog walking business for all of neighbors. I've got my first dog Muffin when I was 11 and I took care of her until she passed just a few years ago. I currently have 2 dogs of my own Belly and Goose! I walk groom and bathe and train them. About: As a Mommy and animal enthusiast - I take immense pride and joy in my care for ALL babies! We tend to forget that It takes a village to raise ‘em right and I’d be honored to be the chosen addition to helping you raise yours. About: I've taken care of cats my whole life, and I know that each one has their own personalities. I'm patient, having taught my own cats basic commands that they generally listen to. I have experience with diabetic and senior felines as well. My experience doesn't stop with felines, though, I've cared for many kinds of animals over the years. Among them are snakes, rats, mice, hamsters, lizards, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, fresh water fish, small birds, and dogs. I work part time, but my ultimate goal is to make pet sitting my main career. I've always preferred being around and taking care of animals. About: Hello! We absolutely love all dogs. We have a beautiful 4 year old Weimaraner who we came into our life as a pup. We also have had two prior to her. We are comfortable with all aged dogs from the feisty puppies to the more quiet seniors. We have lots of experience with young puppies, senior dogs who need medication (oral pills or otherwise), and shy or energetic dogs. Linda even worked as a Vet Tech in high school and was a dog walker in college. We both are retired and love to sit outside with our dog and go for walks. As a visitor to our home, we are open to whatever method you employ for your dog’s safety. We have experience with crate training and are happy to continue those practices if you wish. Otherwise, your dog is free to roam our fenced yard and home. We are both retired, so have lots of time for your pup. Our dog always gets to go out whenever she wants. So will yours. We usually walk our dog in the morning afternoon and evening. If your dog is up to that, we will have her join us. We have a fenced in yard for the dogs to enjoy whenever they want. Our house is very dog friendly. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture. We do not leave any food out and have a dog proof garbage can too.
