“Madeline was the best pet sitter, ever! We are eternally grateful to have found her and have her take care of our senior cat. We got updates every day and photos, too, and we could not have been more pleased that our furbaby was in such amazing hands!”

“Rachael was very communicative & patient. She helped to alleviate any anxieties I had while traveling away from my senior cat. She sent lots of photos & kept me in the loop about my cat’s behavior, eating patterns, and overall mood. 10/10 service, glad i already have her booked for my next vacation!”

“Amanda has been great very reliable and excellent communication she lets out my dog birdie 5 days a week and it’s such a relief knowing my dog is getting some exercise and attention while I’m at work. I’ve noticed birdie isn’t as hyper when I get home from work I will continue my service with Amanda as long as she is available thanks again Amanda”

“We can always count on Cynthia to take such good care of our kitty - whether it's for a weekend or much longer trip. She has been a great source of feedback on how we can make our cat less anxious when we are away. Will continue to book her for future engagements!”

“Jaime was fantastic. I always feel a little uneasy giving our house keys and garage/alarm codes to others but I didn't worry about it this time. She inspires trust and I felt that right away when we first met her. And believe all the reviews - Jaime does take amazing photos. She was able to take some great shots of our kitties! It was very comforting and reassuring to see all the photos while we were away. We will definitely be working with Jamie again.”

“Amy is an excellent pet sitter! She took great care of Birdie, exactly as she needed it. Her flexibility is appreciated - she even brought in our trash cans and package deliveries. We absolutely will ask her to sit for our cat again, soon. Book her! 😊👍🏻”

“1st time I’ve ever let someone watch my 15yr old pup and I couldn’t be happier! Karlie is so sweet and was very good with Maxi!! I will definitely use her again!”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats ever since I could remember. I grew up in a household full of these animals, my own, my families and ones my family would foster until they'd get better. I love working with animals and would love to help out as needed! I have plenty of time to work around a schedule that fits within your needs. I would prefer at least a days' notice, but sometimes I may be able to help out in a pinch! You'll never have to worry about time with me. I pay careful attention to the needs of the animals in my household in regards to taking walks, play/exercise, feeding portion and time as well as just making sure their needs are met!
“Jessica and Luis are ah-mazing!! I reached it to them on short notice and they were still willing to meet with me and car for my 2 cats while I visited some friends for the weekend. It was my first time using a pet sitter so I was a little nervous but they made me feel at ease leaving Smokey and Pippa for a few days. They sent pictures and texted updates after each visit. Highly recommend them and will not hesitate to book with them again!”

About: I have taken care of animals for it seems like my whole life. I have experience administering medication both orally and through syringes and love to spoil dogs when walks and cuddles. I work for a school district so I my school day runs from 7:30-2:30, so no pet would be alone for long. I can do weekdays and weekends. I have experience going into someone’s home and watching their animals from there. I find it’s easier for on them when they are in their own home environment. I follow your routine and instructions and will let you know if I have any questions or anything comes up.
About: Been dog sitting for five years for daytime and overnight care. Available for walking, playtime, or just companionship for any size dog who needs some love 💗 I do currently have a part-time job Monday through Friday but am looking to walk dogs in the mornings and weekdays except on Wednesdays and can sit and do visits anytime on the weekends. I live in a very walkable and dog friendly area where your pets will always get the attention and time they need from me while also being safe and accepted.
“Jackie was so great with our pup Ted. We set up a meet and greet beforehand and he got to feel comfortable with her before we left. She sent lots of pics and videos which made my day!! She even brought him a peanut butter filled treat. Their visits were filled with lots of playtime and a walk. Thank you so much Jackie, we look forward to having you over again soon!!”

About: I love animals. I used to have three Shar Peis, which can be fairly temperamental, but I think I was their favorite walker. I've walked dogs with Wag for years and have cared for dogs ranging from tiny pups to large Anatolian Shepherds. I work from home most days, so having a dog or two in the house is not an issue. And, i don't mind sitting at other folks' homes, if the dogs are more comfortable in their own environment. I've recently fenced our backyard with a 6 foot privacy fence, so that visiting dogs will be secure during off-leash play. I live in a quiet neighborhood and there is a large park down the street, so walks can be quite lengthy, if the dog is up for it. I have a few chickens in a coop / run in the backyard. The app asks about my pets but then when I said ‘yes’ only allowed me to pick either ‘dog’ or ‘cat’ - and I couldn’t list birds so I couldn’t update it. 😕. Apparently Rover thinks there are only two kinds of animals??? Visits to the backyard are always supervised to keep everyone safe.
“Alisa did a wonderful job taking car of my cat for 2 weeks while I was overseas! She is very communicative and let me know when she was arriving if she had to come later in the day. It was great to get the daily updates with pictures and made it easier on me knowing Barley was in good hands. She also got the mail for us during the time and did everything we asked. Will definitely book her again for our longer trips. Highly recommended!”

Sleepy Hollow cat parents share their Rover experiences
Madeline took such great care of our two cats while we were out of town. She was incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and kind throughout the entire stay. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. She kept us updated regularly, was very responsive, and clearly went above and beyond to make sure our cats were comfortable and well cared for. We came home to two happy, relaxed kitties—which says everything. I would absolutely book with Madeline again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!
Jessica was WONDERFUL! We were at complete ease knowing she was watching our “girls”! We looked forward to her photos. And we knew things were good when our shy Annie came out and laid on her back😀😀😀😀😀 we knew when we met Jessica it was going to be a good pick. Her demeanor is so kind, quiet, in a good way!!! Communication was great!!! We WOULD ABSOLUTELY hire Jessica again and is highly recommended!! Thank you rover, but mostly BIG thanks to Jessica Tom & gale
