About: I have had a yorkie growing up named Daisy! She had a long 16 year life before passing Christmas of 2018. She loved to play with her toys and run around the back yard. I'm looking to care for others pets like I did my own. My fiancé and I adopted our current dog Piper in 2024 she is a 20 pound mixed poodle/ King Charles cavalier and a few other breeds all into one. I would say she is our soul dog. She has brought us so much joy and laughter!! I love being outside with dogs, going on walks and playing with toys. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for the last 7-8 years for my family, friends, and neighbors. They have trusted me with walking, feeding, and overall loving their furry friends! When my family first got our dog in 2020, I assisted in training him and learning how to take care of a puppy. I have also helped to take care of my roommates pet dog and cat in these last few months as well! During the summer of 2024, my dog suddenly went paralyzed and lost function of his back legs. We had to learn how to take care of him and walk him using unconventional ways, while teaching him how to learn to walk again, so I have experience with a dog who has been partially disabled (but he has regained his ability to walk and is doing great!!) I recently graduated from Miami University, Ohio with my masters degree in speech-language pathology. I just moved back to Illinois and am looking to do some dog walking and pet care/love this summer before starting a new job in the schools this upcoming August as a speech-language pathologist. I will adhere to any requests that the client has. I am willing to put them in their crates, give them treats, play with them in the yard, or go for a nice long walk with them. It really comes down to the clients preference and I will stick to their normal routine!!

I work for a school district so I my school day runs from 7:30-2:30, so no pet would be alone for long. I can do weekdays and weekends. About: I love animals. I used to have three Shar Peis, which can be fairly temperamental, but I think I was their favorite walker. I've walked dogs with Wag for years and have cared for dogs ranging from tiny pups to large Anatolian Shepherds. I work from home most days, so having a dog or two in the house is not an issue. And, i don't mind sitting at other folks' homes, if the dogs are more comfortable in their own environment. I've recently fenced our backyard with a 6 foot privacy fence, so that visiting dogs will be secure during off-leash play. I live in a quiet neighborhood and there is a large park down the street, so walks can be quite lengthy, if the dog is up for it. I have a few chickens in a coop / run in the backyard. The app asks about my pets but then when I said ‘yes’ only allowed me to pick either ‘dog’ or ‘cat’ - and I couldn’t list birds so I couldn’t update it. 😕. Apparently Rover thinks there are only two kinds of animals??? Visits to the backyard are always supervised to keep everyone safe.

About: I've been taking care of dogs I was 10 years old! I had my own little dog walking business for all of neighbors. I've got my first dog Muffin when I was 11 and I took care of her until she passed just a few years ago. I currently have 2 dogs of my own Belly and Goose! I walk groom and bathe and train them. I have also taken care of the pets of my neighbors and friends since I was 16 years old, I have fed them, I have given them walks, I have bathed them, animals of all ages with old pets I tend to be very careful in their feeding as well I give them a lot of love, when we are at home I give them massages that are especially for animals and they relax a lot, it helps them with stress. He always treated them with a lot of respect because for me animals are the purest, most beautiful being and that they give their unconditional love. In the mornings I go for a run and I like the company of puppies to be able to make it more fun and I feel great when I spend moments with them and their love so cute that they transmit. In my house they can receive all their meals and hydrate, play with them and that they can rest, I also take them for a walk, they receive a massage time especially for animals which helps them with stress, I teach them tricks always with love and respect. About: I have about one year of hands-on pet ownership experience and have been around animals my entire life. I’ve helped train and care for dogs, including Collies and Hounds, with experience in basic obedience, leash walking, crate training, and puppy training.
