About: My dad used to be a forest officer(now retired). Therfore have grown up with lots of pets including dogs, turtles, parrots, and rabbits. I have a 15 year old dog in India whom I took great care of. We have never sets rules or restrictions for him and he is still healthy and living his best life with my parents now. Currently working full time as a PT but usually get off work on Fridays at 4 and usually available to take bookings over the weekend. I live in a community house so we have a common yard. It is not fenced. Regarding inside of home I treat pets as a family member.

About: Hi, my name is Valerie Petty & I graduated from UIC in 2016 with a bachelors in Criminal Law & Justice. I am very outgoing and caring. I love animals more than anything. I had an 8 year old boxer who was with me starting at 6 months, she was my baby and best friend. Unfortunately she passed away October 5, 2018 from lymphoma. I now have three other dogs, Nugget, Delilah and Roo. Nugget was found and we adopted Delilah and Roo after fostering them. Nugget is a labrador retriever, rottweiler mix, Delilah is a boxer mix and Roo is an Amstaf mix. I have also grown up with cats, frogs, birds, hamsters, turtles and all types of reptiles. I love all different types of animals and love meeting new pets. I am allergic to cats and dogs but that has never stopped me from being around them! I promise to treat and care for them as my own. I try to help out as many families as I can but I have to make sure mine comes first! I will always make sure they get enough play time and attention, they can never have enough! Make sure they are always happy, feel loved and taken care of! Pet care is my other job I love! I don't really have a day off which I don't mind, if I'm not with my babies I'm with others. “Many thanks to Lyn and her family for the great care they provided for our 2 dogs (Joplin and Hampton) over this past weekend. Each is an 8-year-old male and skittish about being separated from us (we have never left them with anyone but close family members). Lyn made them feel right at home from the moment we entered her pet friendly home. She has a warm and engaging personality and seems knowledgeable and really, really loves dogs. The dogs warmed up to her immediately and we left them totally at ease, knowing they would be safe and happy while we were gone.
