About: I have been taking care of dogs ranging from a few lbs to 100+ lbs for years! I have also been caring for different types of cats just as long :) Growing up we always had a dog in the house, so that has made me super comfortable to be around them. Whether I’m walking, feeding, cleaning, or administering medication, I am definitely not afraid of the job! I am a proud mama of 2 cats named Archie and Simon. They are my absolute world! I will make sure to give your pets the same care, caution, attention, and love I give my boys! Pet care has always been a passion of mine. In fact, I went to school for it! Although I did not end up pursuing my desire to become a veterinarian, I still try to incorporate that love for animals in my day to day life! I have an extremely flexible work schedule that allows me to almost work fully remote. I would be able to stop over at the house pretty much whenever you need me to. My work set up also allows me to work anywhere if needed. My weekends are almost always open as well! I will always make sure to talk through your expectations to ensure you are comfortable with the nature of each type of visit. I typically would not host any pets in our home. We have a fenced in backyard and several spaces; however, I would not want to put your pet or my cats in an uncomfortable space. At a clients home, I am more than comfortable with backyard access, crate training, cleaning litter boxes, accessing food/water, and any other requirements for the visit! (Totally fine bringing in mail/watering plants!) I will only access the spaces you need me to. I am also fine spending the night if needed. That would be something we could discuss case by case!

I pretty much work from home and have a 4 year old Golden Retreiver named Jax so our routine is already made for a dog. I have a fenced in back yard. Your dog will have a playmate in Jax. I enjoy going out and playing fetch with Jax although he's not much of a fetch guy. About: Hello, I’m a mother of one, and we own a Siamese cat named Atlas. We had a dog a couple of years ago and he has since passed due to an accident and as we’re opening our hearts to the thought of a new member we’re also opening our doors to care for pets while we go on our own journey of finding our own Canine Best Friend. We reside in a a very safe- family friendly neighborhood.( Elgin, IL) Our cat; Atlas stays indoors and in his own room as he likes his privacy so there is no worries about anccidental ill encounters. Since I am a home-maker, a have a lot of time on my side. My regular routine with a toddler is very active in terms of going outside, going for walks, running etc and we wake up everyday with the same goal. “Be tired by the end of the day” 🏃🙏 Yard is UNFENCED. All dogs will be on their leash when playing in the yard. If they have an EXTENDED length leash, it’d be great for them to run around more freely!

About: We are a dog-less home since our dog passed about a year ago. I sure do love having visitors, and a dog to love while they are here with me! We adopted our dog 14 years ago at 5 months old, and for the past 10 years I have been very involved with fostering and volunteering for a local rescue. This has given me so much experience with many different dog personalities and helped me learn how to best introduce them to a new environment. I have so much more knowledge about dog behaviors in general since fostering. I have fostered 30+ dogs thus far, handled at adoption shows, transported dogs to vet visits and selected adopters for my fosters. I love to spend time outside with the dogs, and they are always secure with a leash or tie out cable. I am always with them. We are very careful about doors opening, and people coming in and out. About: I only had family cats growing up, but when my 12-year-old daughter had a big loss in her life, I gave her a Yorkie puppy. Of course, I knew nothing but how to love that puppy, so I had to learn quickly. Yes, I learned about crating...and also not crating. I've learned that dog training is mostly about "training" the owner. And I've learned how you can be firm and serious...but not mean. Like...being a parent. I've watched enough dogs that when they stay or visit, my home's been named deemed a doggie camp. I've had senior dogs on medication or needing more sedate care, and crazy puppies who get the right things to chew. And for walks, we have a great neighborhood with sidewalks. While this is all "puppy" news, yes, I definitely know how to care for cats too. I believe cats need play and music or active noise usually as well - except at bed time. No animal wants to feel alone...and they never do with me. I usually work from home and manage my schedule, so periodic check-ins during the work days isn't difficult. I don't often travel, so evenings, weekends and home care is relatively simple within my schedule. Pets in my client's homes get a regular schedule for meals, wake time, and bed time. They get a balance of play time, brushing,...and snuggles. For dogs, they get walks and play - inside and out. “Roberto and his family did a wonderful job sitting for our dog Hopper while we were on vacation for two weeks. He sent us pictures and updates every day or two. They really made Hopper part of the family (even though Hopper kept stealing all of their dog’s toys and attention). “Sonia provided us with pics and texts to allow us to keep up with how Misha was handling being left home when we needed to travel out of state. Misha who is housebroken and loves all human contact, didn't accept being left behind and presented Sonia with challenges that we never anticipated, taking out her unhappiness on her. Sonia rose to the challenge questioning us on how to handle her behaviors and ruling out any suspected health issues as causes. Misha was well cared for and I have no reservations recommending Sonia as a dog boarder.”

“Kim and her husband are amazing. They just took care of my 3 dogs while we weee on spring break for 8 days. Leaving your furry friends with someone new is always a little nerve wrecking but meeting with them made me feell a little better and then getting pics and videos and reassured the whole time we were gone they were doing so well really helped me to relax and enjoy. The dogs always looked like they were having fun and they came home relaxed and pooped! Not crazy and energetic like usual. I’m so glad to have found them and so happy it all worked out and my pups weren’t to crazy for them. I would definitely use them again and again! Great people and great service!!!”
