Gabriela was super great about texting updates and super cute pics of my girl! And they even got her to eat a good bit while I was away even though she usually tries to go on a hunger strike in my absence. Gabriela met us for like 15 mins at the local park before boarding and got to know my dog and garner some info from me, which I really appreciated and not a lot of boarders do that! About: I've had a dog pretty much at all times since I was 6. My home is affectionately called The Pound, to some, it's called Club Bow Wow. As an adult I had a Jack Russell that crossed the rainbow when she was 17 years old. We had so much fun together, even in her senior years when her lifestyle changed. My current dog Bailey Rose was a rescue that truly found me at a time I thought I was not going to get a dog again. The moment I saw her, I knew she was going to be mine! Since adopting Bailey I have fostered 6 pups and she has been the best foster sister. My home has had up to 6 family dogs at the same time, hence the name The Pound. Whether it be for a visit or for sitting dogs love to be here because the feel the love and energy from me! I've boarded dogs for weeks at a time, although I prefer to board for shorter time. We take daily walks and play in my large yard multiple times a day. Your dog will be in safe loving hands with me and they will definitely have a fun time with Team Maggie and Bailey at The Pound. I work from home Monday thru Friday. My work time is pretty flexible so I can take breaks as needed for walks/check-in/playtime. I am also available on weekends as needed. I have a large fenced in yard. My home has space for your dog to freely roam and I have the space to crate if that is your preference. I have dog beds in my office while I work if your pup likes to be near their human friends.

Kelly took care of my dog and cat, and she was seriously the best. She kept us updated with check ins, updates, and photos. She was so patient with my cat and was actually able to get him to come out and be with her, which has never happened before. You could tell she truly cares about animals and treats them as her own. I felt like I was actually able to relax knowing my babies were so well taken care of. Very grateful to find her!
Kasia was amazing with Bento! We were out of town for a couple of weeks, and she made it so much easier being away from him by sending regular videos and pictures to keep us updated. We had a great experience with Allis. She was very genuine from the moment we had our meet and greet. She understood our concerns with our doodle, who can be tempermental at times. Communicated with us everyday and our dog connected with her and her family. We highly recommend and would definitely board with her in the future.
Kim is a fantastic sitter, who is very understanding of my dog's needs. She worked with him through some behavioral issues he was having in a new environment/setting. She is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and how to care for them. Unfortunately, her care is not the right fit for my dog, but it is no reflection of the care and support that she gave him throughout his visits. I would recommend Kim to friends and family.
With very short notice, Ed was able to accommodate our request for dog care for Maisie, our Golden Retriever. We were on an 11 day cruise and throughout our trip received pictures and updates on how Maisie was doing. She is a 1 year old golden with high energy and can be a handful. Not only did Ed improve her behavior on walks, but also worked on getting her to stop jumping on everyone she meets. It was wonderful to see her play with his dog and his children. Needless to say we wondered if she would want to come home with us because of all the attention she received. We highly recommend Ed and the wonderul care that he and his family provided for our Maisie.
Ashley was incredible! She sent an update with pictures every evening so we knew what they were up to and gave peace of mind while missing our girl. She was so attentive to Winnie - Let us know when her ear seemed to bother her and was down to clean her ears and offered to go purchase solution if needed. She checked with us prior to be sure Winnie could have a piece of Thanksgiving turkey and even got her a special toy during her own errand run which she still carries around. Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! Would recommend to anyone!
