13. Elizabeth W.

“This is the first time we booked a House Sitting through Rover so we were a little nervous entrusting our two dogs and home to someone's care. From the time we met Elizabeth (Betsy), she alleviated our concerns. She is a gentle, kind and compassionate soul who immediately built rapport with us and our two beloved dogs. While we were away, Betsy, continually provided updates, including videos and pictures of our dogs. Betsy provided a caring and nurturing environment for our dogs, as well as took great care and respect of our home. I HIGHLY recommend Betsy to anyone who is considering a dog sitter. We will utilize Betsy for all of our dog care needs. She is the ultimate professional!”

14. Cristina M.
About: I have had a love for animals since I was a young child. At the age of 8, against my parents wishes I snuck in an abandoned cat and it ended up being where my love for animals began. We have had many types of pets since then. Currently we have a 3 year-old German Shepherd whom we rescued from a shelter at 4 months of age. We also have a 1 year old Australian Cattle dog who is super energetic. I love spending time with animals, dogs in particular, because they are so playful, happy and full of unconditional love. I am responsible, caring and will take great care of you pet because I know that they are not only “pets” but are also members of your family. I will care for your pet like I would care for my own pets. I work full-time as a nurse practitioner but just started working some days from home. I figured, why not do something I love while also getting exercise at the same time. Note: the only breed of dog that I will not board in my home are pitbulls. My daughter had a traumatic experience with a pitbull so she is very triggered by that breed. I will gladly watch pitbulls in your home and care for them outside of my home. I think they do get a bad reputation for being an aggressive breed but due to our experience, we unfortunately don’t feel comfortable having them around our children. I am able to mainly available for pet care on the weekends. I am able to accomplish most evening/late evening or very early morning walks. Every other Tuesday I work from home so am able to break up my schedule this day. I care for my dogs in my backyard, which is fenced in. She is able to run around freely because we do have a large yard which allows her to burn off her energy. We also play fetch and she is able to spend a lot of her time running around there. We also go for walks around the neighborhood.

15. Zack L.

“Zack was great. Ralf was happy and we felt comfortable leaving him. House was in great condition when we got home. Zack will be our go to sitter.”

16. Renee N.

“Renee was an amazing cat sitter! Communicating with her was a total breeze and she sent tons of updates about her stay with my cat! She totally saved me when I needed a last minute sitter and I couldn’t recommend her services enough!! Thanks, Renee!”

17. Cathy B.
“Cathy and I met and became friends over our love of dogs. She was such a help to me a few years ago when I had major shoulder surgery. I love my dog...but he's got stuff:) He can be strong on leash as well as leash reactive. Cathy would come over and take him for nice long walks and tire him our for me. She treated him with kindness and patience and used positive reinforcement (and yummy treats) to help him get through situations that were hard for him. There are not many people I trust with my dog, but I 100% trust Cathy (he might even like her better than me)!”

18. Sabrina H.

“Sabrina is spectacular. She cared for Cooper, loved him, and was patient with him. We were so pleased and left with such ease knowing Cooper was being taken care of. Thanks Sabrina!”

19. Allison D.
“Hello! Alison was an amazing caregiver! My pup loved her so much and was always wagging her tail when she came over! She is very understanding and respectful and responsible! I know I can trust her with my pup :)”

20. Alicja B.
About: Growing up we had a German Shepherd that my sibling and I trained from a puppy, and one later on that was 2 when we got her. We fostered a rat terrier that was on daily meds and I even had a rabbit. I have been occasionally dog and cat sitting for friends and family for the last 10 years. My schedule is extremely flexible as I am in between jobs at the moment. I am available for daily visits or overnight care as necessary. Taking care of someone’s pet is a great responsibility I take seriously. By following owner instructions, leaving a status report and even taking a picture if so desired, I can let the owner know their pet was safe and enjoyed spending time with me.
